    Absolutely terrible. Promised a rate that was guaranteed to be lower then ****** and after a few months, it went to more than 3X every other providers rates. Unethical and fraudulent in the way they operate. They then argue that there is nothing they can do because we agreed to a variable rate. Ridiculous. Stay away.

    has harassed our business and employees over the phone MULTIPLE TIMES. weve asked to be taken off their call list and they have refused to stop calling. incredibly rude.

    My husband was pulled into this company and switched our electric service from PPL to nTherm. They jacked up their price and we were paying ridiculous amount of money after a few months. It's been almost a year now and the price has gotten worse. I called nTherm to cancel with them, and they said they put in a cancellation for PPL to approve. I called them again today and they said *** rejected it. I called *** and they said they never got the cancellation request. The people at nTherm are actual crooks.

    We also switched to this company and had a similar experience to everyone on this page. Our rates immediately jumped from .11 to .l4 and up to the most recent bill of .35/kWh. We have one month to go to get the rebate check of 20 % but it so is not worth waiting for that check we will be cancelling today. If I could give this company a Zero I would.

    I changed to nTherm in December of 2023 at a rate of .317/therm. My rate is now .9/therm. I called and cancelled today and the girl I talked to (******) could not give me a date it would go back to ******. She said it could be 1-2 more billing cycles. She told me if I called Nipsco it could be processed quicker by them. I called Nipsco and they cannot process it until they receive the cancellation from nTherm which could be 1-2 months from now. Therfore, I will be paying .9/therm for up to 2 more months in the middle of winter. I had to ask for the cancellation number as she did not readily give any information to me. I don't think it should be lawful to triple a rate for a commodity overnight. Nipsco's rate is ***** at our location in ******* as of today. I hope others will do more research before switching gas suppliers. I learned the hard way. But I think their practice should be illegal.

    I agreed to become a gas customer of ********************** based on a reasonable rate as compared to ***************** Once the service was transferred, the rate was reasonable. My big mistake was that I didn't track the rate regularly. Of course, during the winter months, the nTherm rate went to 4X what the Consumers rate would have been. I didn't notice this for a while but when I called, they offered a rebate check. The check did arrive but I'm sure it was just to appease me into staying a customer. They offered to lower my rate. It was the Summer. Great, a low rate on almost zero usage. What a joke. By the time the Winter months rolled around, the rate was back to 3 or 4X what the Consumers rate was. Totally predatory business practices. Do not do business with nTherm.

    Regarding your yearly rebate check: We offer our customers a yearly rebate check for 20% of their average monthly usage. This rebate is due to our customers after theyve completed their twelfth consecutive billing cycle with nTherm as their supplier.

    As you may be aware, gas pricing is typically more affordable during summer months due to there being a much lower demand. During winter months, demand for natural gas increases drastically, which typically results in less competitive pricing. Any pricing you received from us is a result of these market conditions, not us deciding to charge you more because youre using more. We hope this helps. Thank you for your feedback. -**** *.

    I wish that I could have a ZERO rating. These harassment tactics are getting old. I have already turned them into the BBB with a resolution that they would quit calling our business. They have not. Not only that, they are now calling our branch offices, which is completely unacceptable.

    Company keeps calling after telling them multiple times that you are uninterested. They will try to word it so the call is important, and something needs to be changed on your bill. When you express you aren't interested, they reply with "you must be getting multiple sales calls." Yes I am, from this company. You ask to be put onto the do not call list and then they will call from a different phone number a month later. I'm unsure if harassing companies works for this company, but it does not work for me.

    These people call my business and harass us to connect them to the "accounting department immediately". When asked what the call pertains to they are pushy and ask if I am the correct person in charge of making decisions and paying bills. They lie and say they have sent us a statement which needs payment immediately. (We have no business with them).Their business practices are unscrupulous and never would I conduct business with them and advise any readers not to either.Stop calling me and wasting my time.If I could leave ZERO stars I would do that but this system won't allow that :(

    These people have called our company a minimum of 50 times in the past year. It goes in waves; constant calls by the same person, multiple times a day for a week or two, after you have repeatedly told them that you are not interested. Then they stop for a month or two, and then it starts all over again. Each representative that we have dealt with is hostile, rude, and so unprofessional that it is laughable. They lie and misrepresent themselves and what they are selling. After the 4th of 5th call, you start to just hang up on them when they call, because you are so tired of them wasting your time and tying up your phone line, and then they call you back and try and tell you how rude you are for hanging up and not listening to what they have to say. We listened the first time, we read the reviews that you misrepresent your services and pricing, and we don't want it. We have told you repeatedly to stop calling us. Yet you just keep calling, I guess in the hopes that you eventually wear some poor soul down enough with your bald-faced harassment that they agree to your price-gouging plan just to make your incessant calls stop.I am beginning to wonder if this place is working with some researchers conducting a study on the levels of extreme anger and irritation that can generated by horrible telemarketers.
