      MapQuest has been unresponsive to CCPA requests to remove our residential address from their listing. Our first support attempt was Request #******* in April 2024.Our residential address in their listing is causing a safety issue with strangers coming to the residential property expecting a hotel that does not exist. Your help remediating this issue would be much appreciated. Thank you.

      I am in charge of an electrical company in **, ******. *************************. I have reached out to MapQuest multiple times to change our business address and other information. When someone ******* us they are one of the first websites to show up and its causing us to lose business. They have failed to reply to me , this is unacceptable.       I contacted this business on September 20, 2023 at 7:51 AM to remove my personal address and phone number from their website. It is now 2025 and they still have not complied with my request. After over a year, they replied, we're sorry for the delay and hope we helped, but did not remove or fix any data.

      We've been trying to get our listings corrected on Mapquest for months. There are three listings, one of which is correct and the other two have old addresses. We submitted multiple requests directly to Mapquest with no response. We have corrected our listing on Yext, which supposedly is where Mapquest pulls the information, but that has not fixed it. Therefore we would like ALL listings Mapquest has for our business to be removed since there seems to be no way to keep them updated and correct. We need these listings removed ASAP:*************************************************************************** *************************************************************************** *************************************************************************** (this is the correct listing)To be clear, we no longer want our business listed on Mapquest at all.

      Mapquest refuses to correct wrong map location information despite six requests over the course of the past 2.5 years. The business pin ********************** or address location (or both) are shown in the wrong location. This is high in the *************** of *******, and Mapquest's bad directions have led people on a dangerous jeep road that is closed in winter. There is generally no cell service in the location it leads people to. In October 2024, I submitted a request for correction. They originally replied that it was in the correct location (which it wasn't). Then they said it would take three to four months to correct. They recently sent an email saying they think it was corrected. It was not corrected and I don't think anything was changed. To be clear, Mapquest does not care about the safety of its users and will not correct wrong information that leads to dangerous situations despite numerous requests over a course of years. It is my opinion that if someone is injured due to following Mapquest's direction that Mapquest could be held liable because they have been notified multiple times of the danger they are creating and yet they refuse to correct it.

      MAPQUEST has published the address of my PERSONAL home, without my permission. I don't know where they scraped the information from but I'm a small time crafting business that rents temporary vending spaces elsewhere. My HOME is not open to the public, I do not conduct business there with customers. Finding this information made public has caused me great distress, as I have dealt in the past with a stalker, and do not want this person to find my address online!!!!!       For several years, I have emailed MapQuest requesting that my home address be removed from a defunct business listing. I repeatedly explained that the business listing was owned by a man who used to live in our home before we bought it. He died a long time ago and I even sent MapQuest the obituary as proof. Our home address should not be listed as this business nor should it show a map with our home as a location on a map. For privacy reasons and because this business is no more, we must ask the business to please remove the listing. I have contacted MapQuest repeatedly through the appropriate method provided all information requested. Most recently in February 2025 I received an email suggesting that the business listing had been corrected. It hasn't, and it needs to be removed ASAP. My next step will be to contact their legal department.
