      CenturyLink has created fraud: They are charging me $300 Internet Buried Drop Charge that was not authorized by me and shut off my internet, When I called they refused to turn on my internet unless I pay the $300 that I did not authorize or sign for, holding Services as ****** to get paid is fraud.

      Called to cancel Internet. They cancelled my phone. Have called and texted foe 3 days. Now they say phone will be connected by Sept. 1. They made promises that never happened. So frustrating.

      Zero stars wasnt an option. Ive had no internet since Friday 8/19/22. Made an appointment for 8/23/22. Got a text in AM saying tech would arrive after noon. Shortly before 5pm received a text saying ******** was on the way. 5 min later got another text saying hes here (no one was) and immediately received another text saying service complete (it wasnt and I STILL have no internet). Had to wait 40 min to be connected to an agent (at least it wasnt the usual 3 hr wait time) who then made me jump through all the same hoops I did on Friday only to find out I am now pushed back to Thursday 8/25/22 for another repair tech to hopefully show. If they hire techs like ******** who can just lie about repairs being done when they werent and closing the ticket instead of just pushing me back to the next morning, it shows just how unethical and shady the company is. Hopefully the tech isnt paid by how many repairs he does or else hes skimming $ from the company. I had better be reimbursed for no internet for the week. At least Im not missing work like so many people or Id be out a LOT more!

      I have been CentryLink customer for over 20 years. Each time I move, Centurylink surprises me with the new low customer service ******************. I have to lower my bar to no expectation. I ordered my recent move a week before my actual move date in July. There is no technician until August. I have no choice but agree to it. I also ordered Internet. They pretty much block whole day as the move day. I had to take a day off to wait for the technician. Nobody showed up. No call. Until night time at about 8pm, a robocall "told me" they will be there on Monday. Not arranging the time with me, but told me you need to be home on Monday again. I called back right away and said I could not just take the day off as the Robot told me. But it is 8pm! And their service line is closed until Monday!!! So ridiculous! Monday came - Called in the morning. Support said, you have no choice but wait. I called in the afternoon, the support said, no choice but wait. 5pm came, I called, nobody answer. Chat online, Support said I need to call tomorrow. Note that I had to be in the new house waiting for Technicians 2 days. I used my cell phone data. Tuesday, because I don't have Internet in the new house, I had to go to the old house. Phone line in the old house already got deactivated. I called customer service and get all orders to be cancelled and asked them to reactivate the phone. The Support said they will try another attempt on installation on Thursday. Thursday, I stayed home - no technician showed up. Used my cell phone data plan and asked online the person to cancel all my orders and have the phone back on. The person said, they will cancel the order. Then the phone line and account got cancelled. Went online to try getting the phone line activated again. Centurylink basically hold my phone number hostage and made me pay for reactivation fee and force you to more expensive package. Unethical and worst service nobody can get lower than this. 0 Star.

      If I could do less than one I would. This is the worst company I have ever dealt with. The internet is c*** to start with. We just moved into a new house last month and it took a week for internet to actually be working at our house. Then they left a line out to our house that they told us they would come ***** it. They finally did that. We just got the **** and charged us over $300 to ***** a line that they never gave us a quote for. This is the worst company ever. Sooooo shady

      Everything breaks, we all know that. All service providers have outages. But I just want to be well informed of what the fix is and when it really will be repaired. Our internet service went down Sunday afternoon, 08-14-22. When I chatted with an agent I was told it was an area outage and would be repaired that night. Not so. It was not restored until Thursday afternoon, 08-18-22. This outage cost us four days of pay because we work from home (down Monday-Thursday). We cant move all the equipment and work from a different location because we have also an ***** that requires a ******* line (always reliable!). That *** not matter much to Centurylink, but it was a huge blow financially to us. Also our home security was down during that time. Thats 4 days down in a major metropolitan area (***, Sun City). **************** is lacking. I complained daily trying to find out what was really going on, and how long it would be. All you get is the standard scripted responseour engineers are working diligently. Getting to talk to someone is nearly impossible. I tried many times to actually speak with someone and only got through once. Do they screen for multiple calls from same person? Each day we were given estimated repair times for the next day. The same rote response day after day. No updates even though I repeatedly put in all my contact info. I truly feel sorry for the customer service reps who must listen everyday to upset customers. In the past I always recommended Centurylink to my friends as we enjoyed consistent response. Now its a wait and see if I can afford to keep them and risk more issues or recommend them to anyone.

      I have been a customer for several years and always pay my **** on time. I need customer service to change the modem lines but can't manage to get anyone to schedule an appointment. I was on the phone for over 2 hours today, and two customer service agents hung up on because I had to have them repeat what they were saying. I couldn't understand a word they were saying, and I'm used to conversing daily with people with accent. The service is atrocious, and their employees are rude. I was passed around numerous times, and when I finally was able to schedule an appointment, I merely asked the person to repeat the *************, and the line went dead. The virtual chat is a joke. How can they stay in business?

      with centurylink for 19 years, they've never had great service but recently it's gotten extremely bad. Can't keep a connection going, and the worst customer service. they'll be nice but lie like a dog to you about what they'll do. wish i had an option but for now they are the only service provider in my remote area.

      I have not been able to talk to a human for one week. Consumer support is non-existent. Their chat does not work. Incredibly a fall from ***** and performance.
