      no stars. they stink. i've been on the phone with them to ask why they did not connect my service for long distance and after 3 hours of waiting i had to hang up.

      **************** went down and its going to take them 8 days before they will send someone to repair it. This is unacceptable service. Unfortunately there is no other option for internet service here and Im stuck with them.

      Very incompetent company never in my life have I ever had such a hard time getting internet installed this started the end of July July 27th was supposed to be hook up date they said it was hooked up it wasn't then it was July 4th it was hooked up it wasn't then August 8th it was hooked up and it was wasn't and now today I just get an email saying completed and it wasn't done but they had no problem taking my money I went out and bought a phone **** phone wire installed it myself for nothing now I'm going to try and get a refund and try somebody else that's going to cost me probably more because CenturyLink's got everything locked in I don't know how many customer service I've talked to two to three different departments and nobody knows what the h*** they're supposed to be doing for the technician is just so incompetent he doesn't want to really do his job because it's done I've told him from the beginning I live upstairs the dude downstairs has internet and they keep thinking it's me downstairs this is such bull I'm so freaking irritated I needed this internet for school it's going to almost a month now and nothing still

      ****** ** Well it was a stormy afternoon on July 21/2022, internet has been out ever since. 4 long phone conversations and numerous phone chats and messages resulted in absolutely no help from anyone I had a phone conversation with. 3 missed appointments no call backs no help at all. Centurylink is the absolute worst company that has been issued a business license. The latest update on when my service will be restored is 8/20/2022, with no explanation of why the missed appointments, and why I don't have service. Too bad I can't leave a rating of less than 1 star which I feel is too high for this company. There is one person that has tried to help me through this and has been very professional, her name is ********

      I was told by Centurylink that I could not be quoted a price until I hook up service. WHAT?? Why would I ever do that?? I need to know how much it will cost before I buy it. Terrible customer service. I was also told by their credit team via email that my ssn is related to other persons. No one would talk to me about this. The credit team doesn't take calls apparently. Yet they can frighten me by telling me that information leading me to believe someone else is using my ssn. I have credit monitoring and this has never come up. They do need me to send over copies of two government ids. They are crazy if they are telling me that my ssn is being used by another personto think that I would even trust them with copies of my id. Absurd and this is not a company I would recommend unless you have nothing to do but spend hours on the phone. I really believe any "good" reviews" are phony reviews that the company has someone add to the list. When I asked for a supervisor I was put on hold for 5 minutes just for the same rep to come back and tell me what the supervisor said... I never got to speak to the supervisor. Done before I got started... I guess this is a blessing because I probably would be livid finding out how terrible the service is after I would have become a customer.

      Centurylink- Horrible internet service, horrible customer service. Its the worst service I have ever had. If Centurylink is your only option, just doing without is actually a better solution. We use our phone data now.

      Poor customer service . Have waiting on the phone multiple times for 2 hours or more to speak to a representative, who offered a reduction in charges never to receive said discount. Also applie d and received federal aid for a discount in the **** but the company is listed but when I apply it says they cannot verify it yet I have a confermatuon number I gave them. Also any text message sent with "line chat" is computerized or is cut short stating my time is up. As a consumer and senior citizen this is unacceptable. Please let others know of this company's practices so some less equiped as I am will not be taken for a very poor ride

      It is difficult to understand how CenturyLink can stay in business. I certainly would not use them here in **** except I have no choice with our poor DSL. As the saying goes, it is better than nothing. Technology is moving and hopefully 5G will become available in my area and I rest assured to discontinue my service with CenturyLink as soon as possible. My system is down more than it is up and working from home is a big problem having in ***** now on hotspot from my ******* phone. It goes by usually being down and then taking 10 to 12 days to get a technician to fix it and then its up for five days and then down for 10 to 12 again to get a technician. Poor service, poor customer support and nothing would make me happier than to see them go out of business because they dont deserve to be operational and function in this manner.

      Horrible, we have been a century link customer for the last 25 years, A few nights ago we had a storm and our router was damaged. I have called numerous times put on long holds , ************ outsources their customer services to other countries.I was told I could not get a technician for. 3 weeks. We live on a road with three other residents so there are no other providers that service us The first person I talked to said no worries , three weeks is always the *** so dont worry you will get somebody probably within the next couple of days by the time I got to the fourth person I was told there was no adjusting that date We cannot work from home there are so many things that Ihook up to the Wi-Fi , I feel so incredibly frustrated with me know options

      Worst customer service I have ever had to deal with. I have had to deal with incredibly slow speeds and rude customer service representatives. I am currently on the phone with them trying to cancel my service and I have been on the phone for nearly two hours. The first representative sounded like he was on meth, told me to stop interrupting him even though I was trying to explain to him I couldn't understand him because he was talking too fast....then after a half hour hold and a five minute conversation he hung up on me. I then tried to cancel online but received a message saying I couldn't cancel online and need to call a specific number. I then called the specific number and waited another 30 minutes only to be told the person who answered was not in the right department and was transferred. I waited another 20 minutes or so and was told once again that they were not the right department and was transferred again. This is not the first time I have had to go through this, anytime I have contacted them it is the same story. Unless you absolutely have to have CenturyLink I would advise to go another direction.
