      Just bought an outdoor ****************** set and it is great. Then looked at ********** and it was much less expensive. I didn't think about it when I saw the set at the South ****** store because I always though AFW discounted items or had similar prices to the brands that supply them. Not in this case. Now I am going to look twice before shopping there. Buyer beware!

      Very misleading company!at the time of the sale they tell you everything you want to hear of course. They said i can add a warranty for up to 3 or 5 years and i bought the set back in 2021. Now that Guardian sent a tech and decided the best was to replace the couch I go to the warehouse and they want me to pay an additional ******* more saying that the prices went up on them. Even though for the warranty we pay money for was supposed to be just swamping it that is not the case at all. The store manager is on vacation and the key holder I spoke to said there was nothing he could do. Never again will i do briskness with this type of company. I understand the sales tax maybe but, me having to pay more money to swap a warranty part is not fair.

      It seems that this consumer has reviewed us (AFW) in error because we do not sell an extended warranty (Guardian or any other extended warranty). We are American Furniture Warehouse with stores in **, TX and CO. There are stores will a similar name out there that we are not affiliated with in any way. We suggest that this consumer checks on what store they actually bought from and go from there.       Spoke in depth to a salesman about the best ** fabricated wicker/woven furniture to purchase. I made it very clear that I need something to hold up to our desert climate. I was assured that this piece would last for years. So, the costly, multi piece patio set was delivered to us in April 2022. I purchased covers for every piece, and kept it all covered unless we were using it. Four months later, the breaking and shredding began. I made multiple attempts to talk to management, put in claims, sent pictures, all to be told theres nothing they would do to rectify the problem. These pieces remain on a portion of my patio, still covered. They are an absolute embarrassment and we will never purchase another piece of furniture from AFW again. I cant even begin to describe how pathetic these pieces look. We are more than dissatisfied and disgusted about how this has been handled. Worst customer service Ive ever experienced. Shame on AFW for not making this right.

      Good morning,I just received an email about your response to my review on BBB. Unfortunately the email address provided is blocked and kicks back to me. You should be able to look back at my purchases at AFW, along with the claim that was put in (and denied). This furniture is less than unacceptable, and is a complete embarrassment. It continues to stay covered and sits on our patio unused. The only course of action is to have the set picked up and give us our money back or a store credit. My husband and I will not let this rest until it is resolved. *****************************

      I would rate Zero stars if it was possible.Purchased a Power ******************** Recliner Loveseat and a Power Recliner on September 2, 2018 and paid for the items in FULL. They were delivered to my residence on September 4, 2018. At the bottom of my Sales Order, it states 1 YEAR WARRANTY ON FABRIC AND STITCHING AND 5 YEARS ON MECH AND MOTOR 15% RESTOCKING FEE DELIVERY EXPLAINED AND SIGNED.Now the motor in the Recliner stopped functioning so I reached out to AFW to advise them and that I still had the original paperwork and Warranty was still within the timeframe. This is their response to a paying customer Thank you for reaching out to our support team. While a 5-year warranty would have been quoted at the time of purchase, we have had warranty changes within the past year. We will grandfather the original quoted warranty only if parts are available from the manufacture. Unfortunately, parts for sku 1A-9886PR are not available as the piece has been discontinued and the manufacture is located overseas. At this time, we will have to advise you look into furniture repair near you. Respectfully,So I reached out to a furniture repair company and they found the part on Amazon so I let AFW now and this is their response Hi, I am glad that you were able to find a third party furniture repair company to repair your recliner but we will not be paying for part or repair nor will we offer compensation. Thank ***** much for customer service!!! All I can say is that I will take my business elsewhere.

      I have bought a leather recliner sofa on Jan 25, 2023. It's not been two months and leather is tearing off. I tried to seek help from customer service to fix this. But they couldn't help me and saying its not manufacturingdefect. I didnt expect the premium leather sofa couldnt last for 2 months. Very bad experience

      Warranties are for factory defects. Customer damaging merchandise in the home due to moving the merchandise after having the merchandise for over a month is not considered to be a defect. Thank you, AFW

      For deliveries, the guys refuse to move the old furniture out of the way stating "store policies". However, as soon as you offer the guys a "cash bonus", they are more than happy to ignore said policies and move the old stuff. The "no move" policy is a license for extortion.,

      Update to my AFW review of 02/23/2023 After seeing my review on this website, an Assistant Director of AFW reached out to me on February 26, 2023 with the goal of reaching a resolution on this matter. He arranged for the furniture to be picked up by two exceptionally pleasant and ***************** and a couple of business days later my full purchase price was refunded to my credit card. This is definitely five-star customer care.

      They made me wait for a week and half to deliver my complete order , after they deliver it , the order wasnt complete, Im thinking they charge me for everything but they dint because they mest up they told , now in order for me to complete my order I gotta purchase another piece and its gonna take them more time to deliver and they dont care about the customer.. they wont call back to apologize or nothing..

      As we understand it a mistake was made with keying the order as in only keying in one box spring when two were needed. Our apologies. At this time the customer will be returning the one box spring for a full refund. Thank you, AFW

      I would give zero stars if possible. I took a picture of my sons bed and showed it to the salesman and asked if an adjustable mattress would work on his bed. I was told yes. The delivery guy smashed into my gate and broke it and then didnt even take the adjustable base out of the box b/c it said it wouldnt work on that bed. When I called the furniture store to return it they told me there is a fee to return something. This is the worst customer service ever.

      We bought and picked up a recliner six hours ago and get home with it and it was broken! We called the store and they said we had to bring it back and they would replace it or they would send another replacement but we would have to pay a delivery fee for their ***********! The customer service was horrible and the store manager was even worse! He talked to my husband very rude! And we will never buy anything from them ever again! It was the store in *******!
