Got a 67$ Ticket after parking in parking lot for work. I just start my new job stone creek coffee and they have a lot so i parked there next to our building and still got a ticket. I paid my ticket via the mobile app and I open a collection letter claiming I had overextended my stay when I had paid for two hours. This company is terrible and extremely lucrative. I have already paid the 82 dollar fee along with the parking fee.Business Response

08-20-2022 at around 4:37pm to 5:03pm in ****** **, I had parked in a spot owned by the parking revenue recovery. When I attempted to pay the service of the lot, I was unable to due to connection issues, I made multiple attempts again due to thinking it was my phones error. I was then forced to pay for valet services so my vehicle was not towed from the lot for not paying. I was charged anyway and disputed the claim. I was told since I didnt pay, I must pay them a fine even though an attempt was made multiple times to pay. I find this business practice very unprofessional, due to the reasonable attempts made explained in the dispute sent to Company. We were in the lot for an approximate 30 mins attempting to pay, this is per the paper I was sent by the Parking Service. The company then emailed me saying they will not respond unless new info is presented or until payment is received. I appreciate any help the Better Business Bureau is able to provide to my situation.In my dispute I sent the company I was off by 10 mins, an error that I am noting now. I never left the vehicle alone in the parking lot. I called the phone number at the location and attempted multiple tries via text the number given in the parking lot.Business Response

On 8/16/22 my family parked in a parking lot. There was no attendant but instead a sign stated to pay via text or QR code. Payment was remitted following the instructions provided. Upon return to my vehicle a parking violation dated 8/16/22 at 1:09 pm was on my windshield. We called the company and advised payment was made per instructions on the sign and were advised to email evidence. After the email was sent, also on 8/16/22 a response was received on 8/31/22 stating the violation is upheld and payment was remitted to the wrong company. There is only 1 L shaped lot with 3 signs, but only 1 with instructions on how to text or scan QR code for payment. These were the instructions followed for which the receipt was provided. The company is offering to reduce their fee to $40 to settle the matter. This is unacceptable as payment was made via their instructions.Business Response

8/16/22 paid to park 24hrs via the ** process in lot. Returned to renew but the app did not work and kept erroring out. I tried for at least 10 min to access but could not renew parking so left the lot to park in the street. Because of the issue i was 7min late leaving the lot despite being there on time. Charged $82 fee which is more than twice a 24 hr rate. Have parked here for two years consistently with my main commuter.. sad business model, no humanity anymore.Business Response

I am rejecting this response because:first of all if you checked you would see i went through your appeals process and have heard nothing after a long wait. Secondly it is unreasonable considering i tried using the service recommended but it kept failing and after 7 min decided to leave the lot. I assumed the system was the same as the pay station so didnt think of that option. Very disappointed that you cannot acknowledge your service caused my delay, not me. 7 min over after 24 hrs and you charge me 3x the 24 hr charge because your system was broken. I guess you loose my $300 a month parking from here on out. Ill walk the extra few blocks to make sure my money goes to a more reasonable business. So ashamed to have given this business so much money the last few years and be treated this way.

I parked at a lot on 8/3/22 and paid for my parking ($13) and then received a notice in the mail for failure to pay with an additional balance due of $87. I expained to the company that I drove through the first lot and crossed over to the other lot to park in which my paid ticket reflects. They only have pictures of me entering and exiting, but not where I actually parked. After 3 unanswered emails and 11 days later, they finally responded to me with a copy and pasted response and didn't actually read through the information I provided that I had in fact parked in the correct lot. It looks like I'm not the only one who has had problems with this company trying to rip people off.Business Response

On 8/15/22, I parked in downtown ****** on ************. After 20 minutes trying to use both the app and the website to pay for parking, I could not get my payment accepted. I finally gave up and went to my appointment. They then requested $87 as a fee for unpaid parking. I appealed the company, and they authorized a $20 reduction. Apparently, I still owe $67 because of their of faulty online services. I am happy to pay the parking fee, but they offer no solutions and just want my money.Business Response

We did receive payments from other parties, so unfortunately this ticket is a valid ticket as you didn't pay. I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and find that this resolution is acceptable, because I don't want to prolong the dispute. I encourage PRRS to to provide simpler access to parking payment, especially since the system in Downtown ****** used to be much easier, and Apps were not even needed.

On 7/3/22 I parked in a parking lot owned by Parking Revenue Recovery Services, **** I entered at 11:32am and was prompted by a sign to text to pay, but it would not work. We waited until 12am and it then worked so I paid. We exited at 7/4/22 at 12:30am. I then got a parking notice for "No payment" so I sent in all proof of paying and they came back and stated I did not pay in the 'allowed time frame' to pay- which they state is 15 minutes and I paid within 28 minutes of parking. I explained I could not pay and they told me that isn't on them. They emailed back and said they would take $62 on behalf of this issue, but I do not believe that is fair because I paid the parking fee which is good for 6 hours of parking so even if I paid in the allowed 15 minute time frame, I would have owed the same amount which was $11.15. I called to make the payment and they transferred me to someone who was in charge of my account. He asked me if I got anything resolved and I told him no, but I would be reporting them to the BBB and he said "That's fine, we didn't do anything wrong. We've been in business for a long time". I said "yes, you did because you got me for no payment and I did pay." I told him to just take the payment and he continued to taunt me and then told me "you're going to send a check in, that's what you're going to do" and hung up on me. I do not feel this parking violation was right nor was the way I've been treated while trying to handle this matter. Everything online about them points to a scam.Business Response

There are signs on this lot stating that there is no free parking at anytime. If this consumer was unable to pay to park, the operator asks that they leave the parking lot. Without a receipt showing payment at 11:35pm this would notice would be validly issued.Customer Answer

I am rejecting this response because: I got a notice stating "no payment" but that isn't technically correct. I did pay. I have proof of pay. Even if I paid the 28 minutes before, it still would have been the same amount I paid since parking was good for 6 hours. When I called to pay, the guy was very rude and I was hung up on and I STILL called back to pay. Nothing about this was professional or done correctly.
