I received a letter from Parking Revenue Recovery Services, Inc with a notice number ABMSLC-****** which said I owed them $87 for parking in a lot in ************** on May 27, 2024. I provided them proof that I paid $26.50 on my Amex credit card thru PARKWHIZ for parking They denied my claim for no specific reason and offered to "settle" for $67. This company is a total sham and has been fined by the State of Colorado. They prey on people not willing to fight.

We parked in a lot to go to dinner. I paid with my phone via Apple Pay. I have proof of payment on my credit card statement. I do not have a receipt because a receipt was not available. I have received a notice of non-compliance and am being assessed a fee of $92.00 for parking in this lot. I have filed a dispute with this company. This situation is ludicrous, resembles / is a scam, and the business appears to be illegitimate.

9/10/24 I received in the mail a letter from Daniel B Kelley Attorney at Law ***************************************************************** said a parking notice balance due of $80 for a fine issued on 2/28/24 in ************** for my father. First of all my father has been dead for over 7 years and the license plate on the bill is not my fathers'. When my father passed his truck was donated and I took the license plates. I first received a notice by Parking Revenue Recovery about this amount due a month prior. Imagine my surprise that this was directed to my dead father and that he owed $80 dollars. I immediately took the letter to the ************************** and went to report it and ask what they recommend in this situation. They told me this was a scam and to destroy the letter. Now, what do I need to do? Should I report this to the police again? From the reviews I see below this is a chronic problem with this particular business. What will writing this review accomplish that is my question to BBB. Will something be done or will this just continue. Since we have to issue a star rating in order to have this documented. I had to choose one star really they deserve no stars at all.

Received a $92 ticket for going 10 minutes over. Unable to pay online due to error message. Tried calling and I'm suspiciously always 26th in the queue, every time. There was a settlement with the ****************************************'s office which says they agreed to a 20 minute grace ******* Upon contacting them to question this, they said the 20 minutes is upon entering the lot, not arriving late to exit, which makes absolutely no sense. Online credit card is still not working, and I'm not comfortable giving my credit card over the phone, even if they do ever answer. Predatory business practices, shady all around. $92 for 10 minutes? That would be roughly $540 an hour. That is insane.

Entered parking area; fewer than 10 cars there. Poster size PARKING/QR codes were hanging in trees. I scanned and was directed to fill out various info and charge $10 which I did. Entered event approximately 2 1/2 hours, came out, left. A week or so later received a statement in mail saying my parking had expired for 15 minutes and a $92 fine was now required. I appealed by phone and by email and was told for a limited time fine could be reduced to $72, after which it would go back up to $92. Not only is this price gouging, it is totally inappropriate for the sponsoring event (which remains silent about the complaint)

I have read all of these reviews ..l feel also this company PRRS Parking Revenue Recovery *** is a total scam On Father's *** June 16th we parked in a parking lot which had a huge sign stating EVENT PARKING went in and came out and had a $92.00 Parking Notice on my handicap van for parking in a private property lot without noticeable signage without paying within 10 minutes of entering the lot the kiosk was not noticeable The normal thinking would be you park and pay when leaving which we did ...we paid $40.00 upon leaving I have disputed this ticket and have now received two collection letters from an Attorney in ******** called Daniel B Kelley demanding my monies with lowering my payment to $72.00 and pay within 40 days of date of letter I am not paying this ticket because:1. Signage is too small on purpose not to see 2. I paid for my parking $40.00 3. No one in their right mind saw anything stating you need to pay within 10 minutes when entering the parking I have written to AZ Attorney **************** l have written to Co Attorney's **************** ..and the local department who maintains our parking lots in ........being this is a private property parking lot no one can help you this parking lot owner can do what they want this is a SCAM NOT LEGAL AND SOMETHING NEEDS TO BE DONE with these lots who are scamming the public Quit sending aharrassment collection letters you are intimating me and l will not pay l get do further research with PRRS until there is something done with this parking lot

This company feels like a scam company. They sent me a bill and I told them there is no signage, so they told me to pay them less. How does this not sound like a scam?

I parked in a PRRS lot and went to apply pay the charge of $7.65. I thought the payment went through but it kept spinning and spinning. Not realizing it DID NOT go through, I went into my destination for 2 hours to come back out and find an $80 parking ticket on my car. I immediately contacted them and explained the situation, showed them screen shots of what I thought was payment and then said the only thing they would do is lower the fine to $60 if paid within 10 days. I told them I was filing a complaint to the *** to ensure it was on file and request a more reasonable fine, similiar to those from the city, $20.The company came back to the formal *** complaint and said I still owed the fine and they had given me a chance for a lower fine if I had paid it within 10 days. I paid the $80 fine plus $5 processing fee after seeing multiple examples on the web of people trying to pay and the processing just spinning and spinning, in addition to this company fraudulently sending notices to people that had appropriately paid until they had to get a new station to investigate. This company is a predator that has no consideration of people trying to do the right thing and more than willing to pay the parking amount plus interest but going from $7.65 to $85 is a scam.

Avoid any parking lots PRRS is associated with. I prepaid for a full day before exiting my car and still received a notification stating I owed $82.00. I disputed with a picture of the parking prepayment receipt and was told the dispute was declined because I did not follow the rules?? When I called the phone number in the email the representative was rude and got tone quickly when any questions were asked. She told me the picture was too small and to try sending a larger copy. It's ridiculous! These are not new issues for this company... You can file a complaint with the Attorney General here: ****************************** CBS News did story on them as well: *******************************************************************************************************************************************************************
