      Now that I have your attention with the 1 stars, let me first say that this company deserves zero stars! This IS SHADOW BANKING AT ITS BEST! Every review that I have seen had absolutely nothing good to say about this company and neither do I. *** telecommunications company that I work for was purchased not too long back by a private equity firm, and since then everything has went to h*** in a hand basket. Why would such a great company (past tense) decide to do business with Empower ? So they can STEAL YOUR MONEY!STAY FAR AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY, SHADOW BANK

      This company has been very difficult to withdraw money from! Money that Ive contributed to my own retirement! I want to move my money to another investment company and its been over a month now since Ive initiated this process, completed my side of it and nothing! DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THEM!!!!They will try to keep your money hostage!!!!!!!!!

      This company is the worst ever, my employee switch from Fidelity to this horrible company! I need to take a *********************************** a hard time its been 5 days and they keep saying something is missing. I really dont know whats going on but companys need to stay away from them. I having a lot of medical issues and they are playing games with people lives.

      Empower is the worst business that I have ever dealt with. They took over ********** and now handles the retirement funds for my company. It has been a nightmare trying to get money from my retirement funds. Mistake after mistake on empower side made things difficult. My advice is to stay away from this company. I gave a one star rating because I had to put something but my real rating would be minus 5 stars.

      As the executor of his estate, I have been trying to close my father's ******** ****** ************************* Plan (401k) for 3 months, and Empower has dragged their feet, created obstacles and generally been unresponsive. Empower is a disgace. Their lack of response and incompetence is disrespectful to his devoted and life-long empoyment (RCA- GE- *****************************- ******** ******).

      THE WORST COMPANY to deal with! They put up roadblocks to keep you from getting withdrawals. I have been trying to get a withdrawal for my daughters summer college session and it has been an absolute nightmare. Employers....DO NOT DO THIS TO YOUR EMPLOYEES...Find another provider for retirement services.

      I fortunately only have just under $10,000 in the account which I will discontinue funding. They told me today I don't have enough in my account to take a loan out. This is why I root for the bank robbers in movies!

      Worst customer service I have ever seen. I was told by the ******* employee savings people that the distribution had already taken place awhile ago and when I talked to empower customer service it still has not been distributed Emprower cant tell when this is going to happen.I would never use this company for any of my financial needs.

      Nothing but a pack of thieves. Lowdown crooks. ***** close to $80,000 from my annuity is less than six months. There needs to be a class action lawsuit waged now. No one company can be legit and lose someone's retirement savings that quick. It took decades to obtain what they lost in stole in six months.
