Count ability, the process timing is HORRIFIC and no compassion to the consumer! My car was towed on Monday 9/19 to one of Car Shields approved repair shops! It is now Friday 9/23 and other than having a rental as promised I had to take the ENTIRE week off work due to no transportation! They keep stating there is a 2hour process for this, a 24/48hour turnaround for that and few in between individuals are ALLOW to help! This is turning into a TOTAL nightmareAmerican Auto Shield, LLC

Found the problem to be a bad battery and replaced it before the towing company came so I cancelled with them. Didnt use the towing service.American Auto Shield, LLC

Not what I think. My experience. They been taking money out my account every month an when my car needed to get fix they did not pay for it to get fixed. I had to pay for a rental an my car. I was out of more money than I thought of.American Auto Shield, LLC

I dont really have a complaint, just an observation. The A/C compressor went out in my 2009 Murano. The *** part cost about a thousand dollars. Now, according to the contract they will only put aftermarket parts or other on the car for repair. Ok I get that, however, this is what doesnt make any sense financially. So after ****** put the new compressor on we thought everything was good until we started hearing and feeling this bad humming noise. You hear it when the school is on but not when its off. So they want to keep putting a $400.00 part on it when if they had just put the oem part on they are spending more money on this because of their policy than what they needed to. I told them that that is how companies go out of business. Every time I bring it back into the shop they spend around $400.00. Add it up. $1000.00 once or $400.00 several times. Makes no sense. This is probably one reason they have an F rating with the BBBAmerican Auto Shield, LLC

This company is horrible and its goal is to collect your premiums without paying claims. My husband took out a policy after we purchased a used vehicle. A few months later, the vehicle broke down and required a new motor. The vehicle was towed to a repair facility using our roadside assistance (luckily) and a claim was initiated. The mileage was questioned and if we hadn't had a receipt for towing with the actual mileage listed, our claim would have been denied right there. After THREE months of constant calls and requests and jumping through hoops, today our claim was denied. You may ask why....well, the contract may cover replacing a motor, but it will only cover if there is actually no reason for the motor to need replacement.The contract doesn't cover hoses, and because one busted and caused the motor to run hot, they won't replace the motor. I found out about this company when my 1st claim was placed. I purchased by contract through Carshield. My repair shop sent in their recommendations and claim was denied and after review of contract, it was a valid denial. Upon replacing the part, it was determined that the covered part was actually the problem to begin with and part submitted in beginning was not the core issue. Upon resubmit of the claim, the adjuster requested discovery photos and videos to show damage to covered part which the shop would have to do and charge me if denied (3-4 shop hours). This was done and internal damage of Turbo Charger was found and presented to adjuster. The adjuster said from video and picture he could not detect damage (mind you, he is not with car, just looking at pictures and video), but tells the mechanic he is wrong and there is not damage (turbo charger won't hold pressure and operate on test drive) and will still deny claim. They won't send a live person to shop to verify. This company if not a respectable company and will just take your money monthly auto collect and not return any benefits. Most people will give up and move on but I will be suing them, filing complaints with attorney general, BBB, and will start a social media campaign to let as many people know to not trust what they say. There are stars like Ice-T, elderly people, and just ordinary people promoting this on radio, TV, Print, cold calling and it's really a SCAM that should be stopped or held accountable.American Auto Shield, LLC

The WORST company for a warranty! DO NOT get a warranty from these people! My turbo went out in my car, which was covered under the contract. Due to the part that caused the damage to the turbo was an "uncovered" part, they would not cover the turbo! The repair shop has had my car for 4 weeks! They would send pictures and information to the adjuster, but he insisted they needed more information. I now have to pay $7.400 out of my own pocket because these jerks did not approve my claim! It's really sad that you pay your monthly payment on time every month just for them to decline your claim, which is clearly a covered part in the contract! The staff was also rude! They did not even bother to see if they could pay part/some of it! Guess they hire crappy employees to work at a crappy place!! I have canceled them and hope the owner rots in hell! Shame on you for making people think you are a reliable company, when all in all....you are just in it to scam people! Please read the reviews before connecting with this company! 1 starIf I could give them a ZERO review, I would. They do not communicate with the repair facility or the owner. I had a vehicle under warranty and needed a transmission repair. It took them over 4 weeks to get this done, and still didn't pay for the entire repair. My daughter has a vehicle under warranty now with a few issues and they have been stalling for over 2 weeks with no end in sight! They also are trying to get out of paying for repairs because they are trying to claim that some things went past the "point of failure" which they can't tell me when that was (there is no way they know the time of point of failure).
