Claim Agent, Cameron Wattay paid a claim to a lady who was cited at the accident for Hit and Skip. She refused to give me her insurance after I gave her mines. We were told to do this by ********* Police Dispatch.
He told me we gone take this one. Meaning the accident. He told me she did not have to put on her turn signal, she could turn as wide as she want to, and she probably she live on the street.
I told him the Law is you are suppose to put on turn signal when turning and by law you are not to make wide turns. How do I know this is the same lady that hit me? Showed no identification at the scene.
I took pictures of her car and there was no damage on the car. They paid out for collision. I filed a police report and he totally ignored this. This company has terrible, and dishonest workers working for them. I am filing a complaint to paying her for this accident that she caused.

I was rearended by a company truck and Travelers Insurance refused to pay the rates for the repair shop and when I picked my truck up the repair shop would not turn my truck over until I paid $2000 in "rate difference"

I do not recommend Travelers insurance. The roadside assistance is horrible. I broke down and called for a tow but had to have someone pick me up because it took them 40 hrs to find a tow truck. Additionally, I was faulted in an accident and paid $500 deductible. I appealed to the state and won but Travelers won't reimburse me saying they can't get it from the other driver so nothing they can do.

Been with travelers for years as single with no accidents/claims and now married and because my wife had an accident in 2023, can’t get their insurance anymore. So much for “loyalty.” Just another reason to just shop for the cheapest option.

I SHOULD NOT HAVE TO LEAVE ANY STARS FOR THIS COMPANY. 1-STAR IS TOO MANY!
I am 81 years old. A senior on a fixed income. This company is god-forsaken awful! They seriously deserve no stars. In December of 2024 their client crushed my car’s passenger side (proof in police report).
I have only one car so the day of the accident I had to pay for a tow, the repair and replacement of my tire & axle. I had to pay for an uber to the rental place & then I had to pay for a rental car until my car was half way driveable. And THIS was days before Christmas! Of course I took pictures of everything & submitted them to Travelers including the police report confirming it was their total fault.
Dealing with Traveler’s agent; Jennifer G*****,
has been like dealing with a six- grader who had never been to school. She represents Travelers company well. She is consistently rude, never returns phonecalls, unprofessional, unlearned and needs to leave the business. This company is seriously a menace to society.
To date, Travelers nor its assigned agent; “Jennifer G****** have paid me for damages nor have they resolved this obvious case.

I had insurance with this company for 7 years. I got a speeding ticket, paid the ticket and asked Travelers to submit proof of insurance to the state. They never summited proof and my licence was suspended. I called them again and they summited proof and my licence was reinstated. Then they cancelled my insurance because my licence got suspended. Completely screwed me over. they didn't even tell me they were dropping my policy, so then i have a lapse in policy when i went to get new insurance and it cost me more money! stay away. bunch of ****** in a call center in a ***** world country..

Travelers quoted me during a claim and gave bottom of the barrel pricing for repairs, and their adjuster stated that when the contractor paid receipt came back they'd pay the difference. Not only did I provide said receipt but noted several items of personal property that the adjuster took pictures of but forgot on the quote. When I contacted the adjuster multiple times and his manager I never received even a call back. Were talking thousands in repairs and personal items that are lost to either unprofessionalism or intentional scamming of the clients they are paid hansomly represent. If you have the choice of a higher premium or this company, pay a little more and when you are supposed to be covered, maybe you will be.

If I could leave no star ,I would. I have had the same horrible experience with this scamming company as all of the other 200+ reviews. They raised our policy by $ 1,700 in one year without any claims at all. Raised our house payment by $150 per month. Very hard to get ahold of them. They finally assigned me an agent after 3 years. At renewal time she gave me 3 small things they wanted repaired to renew our policy. We completed those things, sent in photos ect...Then she sent more things for us to do, giving less and less time to complete before renewal. I finally figured out this was all part of their scam to make it possible for us to please them before running out of time. I started shopping around for a local agency. I found one with a direct phone number and wonderful customer service !Our insurance is now 1,700 less per year and Travelers !

Travelers Insurance is a horrible company. I bought a home in the **** ******* **** ** ******* ** in 2018. I paid Travelers in good faith over the years without making a claim. They suddenly (in February 2025) told me they were cancelling my home insurance due to a small area of flat roof (which was there when they initially wrote the policy) and "tree overhang" (which, again, always the case; the neighborhood is one with many trees and if simply having trees that overhang at all is the issue, then almost every tree in Tech Terrace is uninsurable). Travelers never provided a *cancelled unless you do X, Y, and Z* list. I had to argue with them via my insurance agent. Subsequently I was told to remove a (VERY HEALTHY) 60 ft tree. I did so for $3,750. Then Travelers basically said: *Well, nah. There's other issues.* Travelers can go straight to hell! I am actively shopping for a different company (and will pay 100% more if need be to never deal with Travelers again)!

I purchased an auto from a dealership and made sure I had full coverage before driving my vehicle from the location. I purchased Travelers. All information: license, temporary license plate and registration was faxed to Travelers. Over $400 down payment sent and confirmed by Travelers. Subsequent monthly payments automagically deducted from my account. Received in email request for more information: proof of residency and proof of cancellation of prior insurance. Received cancellation notification but they still took my money. So I called and asked what else did they need. They requested proof of sale so I faxed a copy of my Title. I called again thinking everything should be finalized by now since they have all this information. They asked for a copy of my registration and the Bill of Sale. That last request was when I decided that I was done with this company. Never ever again, therefore I cannot in good faith give this company any rating!
