      On 4-6-23 I parking on our campus parking lot that is managed by LAZ. There is a section that is marked car only no SUV in a area closest to the entrance clearly indicated by a single arrow pointing right. To the left of this is 2 spaces not encompassed by this parking restriction. When one of there 2 spots is open, I, and multiple other SUV owners, will park in these 2 spots. I have been parking in this garage for 9 years. On this day I got a ticket even though I was clearly not in a spot indicated by the sign. Violation **********. I took pictures of this signage and where I was parked (which was of course not mentioned on the ticket itself) and sent it with my appeal. They denied my appeal. This would have been thrown out in any court as it was so blatantly obvious that I was not in violation, but I have no recourse against this company.

      I purchased parking online for an event on 4/22/23. I paid $17. When I arrived to the parking garage and entered, I discovered signs posted saying that they were doing power washing and all cars had to be removed, so I exited and parked elsewhere.

      Dear Sir/Madam,

      I am writing to express my dissatisfaction with the parking ticket I received from ******* ******* ********. On March 31st, 2023, I parked my vehicle at the LAZ parking on ******* at 7:57 am and left at 10:35 am. I paid for my parking with my credit card, and I have the credit card receipt to prove it.

      However, I was surprised to receive a letter from ******* ******* ******** a few days later charging me $87 for an alleged "ticket expired while parking." I do not understand how this can be possible since I paid for my parking using my credit card, which was charged for the appropriate duration of my stay.

      I am kindly requesting that you look into this matter and rectify the situation. I am willing to provide any necessary documentation to prove that I paid for my parking and that the ticket was unjustly issued. I believe that it is unfair for me to pay for a ticket that I did not deserve, especially when I have proof that I paid for the parking. And the amount charger in the ticket it's 8x the price of the ticket.

      I hope that this matter can be resolved as soon as possible, and I appreciate your attention to this issue.

      We arrived at ********* ********** ******** on the night of 2/22/23, it was dark and raining. Our daughter was brought in by squad to their ER department. We parked on a side road that had not one single NO Parking sign and the curbs were not painted yellow. We also parked behind several other vehicles. When we left the hospital later that night we discovered the ticket on our windshield when we arrived at our hotel. The ticket has make of car as a *** and my vehicle is a ***, the license plate number was mine. The next morning we walked the area of street where we got the ticket and took pictures, not one sign anywhere that said NO PARKING. When we filed the appeal the site only let us download one picture and a very limited explanation and our appeal was denied due to not enough evidence. We have called and emailed them multiple times and they will not return any of our attempts.
      I have tried multiple times to upload the pictures I have and have been unsuccessful. Will send what I can get through and if you would like the rest please give me an email to send to.

      4/9/23 we (family of 6 with 3 small children) arrived at ***** ******* in *** ****** ** at 10:40 AM to take a 12:30 PM flight to ******* for our ****** spring brake vacation. We arrived 1 hr and 50 min early which is plenty of time for a small airport like ***** with only one operating airline *****. Upon our entry the parking lot attendant stated that we had to park in the overflow parking garage in downtown *** ***** and that we would then be picked up by shuttle bus which comes every 10 min. He handed us a piece of paper with directions to the garage and the location of the shuttle pick-up. We checked in our bags and went to the overflow garage. When we pulled in we realized that the entry clearance was only 6' and our SUV with the roof rack would not clear that. We proceeded to drive around looking for a garage that we can actually enter and was able to find one nearby. After we parked our car we went to the intersection where the shuttle bus was supposed to pick us up. As the first 10 min went by we started to get worried. We double checked the location, we checked the piece of paper for a number to call and there was none. After 30 minutes we realized no shuttle was coming. My husband ran back to get the car and drove us all as fast as he could back to *****. When we arrived, surprisingly, this time no one was blocking the entry to the parking lot and we parked the car and ran to the the shuttle that was picking up the travelers. The shuttle driver was surprised to hear that we were sent to overflow garage because according to him the shuttle to that garage doesn't start running until 12:30 PM (!) That was time of our departure. We missed our flight due to the actions of LAZ parking employee. We had to rebook to a flight to ******** for additional $615, pay $214.92 for one way rental car to *******. The amount of stress that my family went through because of LAZ employee actions is tremendous! It is only fair if LAZ reimburses for extra airfare and car rental.

      On February 27, I received a past due parking ticket of $84 in the mail from the city of *** *****. When I looked it up on their website, the photos show it was when I parked in an LAZ facility where I have a monthly pass on January 13 (monthly pass attached as evidence). I never received a paper ticket in my windshield from LAZ parking enforcement, not did I receive a timely notification in the mail. Furthermore, the ticket itself does not make sense. I had a monthly parking pass that day. I am currently on the hook for a late fee (normal parking tickets cost $42) and am unable to appeal the ticket because I received it 27 days after the supposed violation, and there is a 21 day appeal window. When I tried to contact LAZ via email, they told me they do not handle the appeals and to appeal online, which is no longer possible because the appeal window has closed. This is dishonest, irresponsible, and unprofessional!

      On Friday 2/24/23, I was at the ******* ***** ****** and, with a cinema advertised (see referenced pictures) parked to see a movie. It didn’t take me more than 15 minutes to park, walk in, see that the cinema was no longer operating (not merely closed — completely abandoned,) and return to my car. Upon leaving for a 20 minute stay (see referenced pictures,) I was charged (and paid) $10. The sign upon pulling into the garage even noted an hourly rate. While there was also a separate sign for $10 event parking, there was nothing to indicate any event was happening (and I would argue that, in fact, no event was happening.) Moreso, I was in the garage for 20 minutes as my tickets show and obviously did not attend any event.

      I called LAZ twice from the garage. Once before returning to my car and once when I reached the exit. The first representative told me to call when I reached the exit and that my issue would be remedied at that time. Alas, when that time came, the second representative told me I was out of luck. She did acknowledge the ridiculousness of what she was saying, but insisted I pay $10.

      I want my $10 back immediately. I will pay $1 per the sign in the garage for my time spent parking there, because I realize LAZ parking has nothing to do with the area’s continued advertising for a cinema that is no longer operating.

      Anything less than a $9 refund will result in a consultation with a civil attorney to consider a class action lawsuit in reference to this practice. I am an attorney by trade and thus will suffer no additional burden — financial or otherwise — by pursuing this remedy to the fullest.

      I am an employee at ********** ********* and I pay to park each pay. I still get ticketed , and I feel like I am being harassed . One day my car was charging in Lot 8 and they ticketed me saying it wasn’t charging . Last year I was involved in a near fatal accident and my car was totaled . I went to the parking office they told me not to worry about a new hang tag for my car but today I got ticketed for it . I need them to stop singling me out

      I was walking to the pay box when the LAZ vehicle (#***) pulled up. They gave me a ticket while I was paying at the box. While I complained, they called me a liar, were not able to identify themselves and did not explain how I could dispute the ticket they were giving me.
      I photographed their vehicle before they pulled away and I called the number on their vehicle to report them. I am working on confirming a ticket was not issued, but their system is slow to register that I paid the meter. This was harassment, plain and simple. They had no reason to give me a ticket, and now leave me to clean up the mess.

      I had the misfortune of parking with LAZ on 01/06/2023. This lot (in **) had approx 1-2 vehicles each time i stationed there. This specific lot is in front of a hospital. I exited the lot less than 25 minutes after it expired. Again, this is a lot used by people visiting their sick loved ones. I have a terminally ill family member i was visiting. I don't live in ********* anymore and dont have much of a chance to see them. I explained all this to the business and received such a sour response. Additionally , their proof was camera footage timing the exact minute your parking expires. I wonder if they would also charge you if you went two minutes pass the time then. How can you say that is a ethical business? You can not. Clearly they are trying to make as much money as possible and by any means. $97 dollars for less than 25 minutes past is absolutely insane.

      We have reached out to the customer regarding the violation and refunding her for the amount charged.   As an organization we are not trying to take advantage of anyone especially in a time of need or convalescence.   However, per the city we are well within our rights to fine anything over the time without a grace period.
