I have attempted to end a subscription for more than 1 month. Their terms of service require that all cancellations are to be executed on the website, however, their website does not support cancellations. I have called them multiple times with no response. I have called and left messages, with no response. I have used their online portal to send a message more than once, no response. They continue to charge my credit card, and I will have my credit card dispute the transaction.Business Response

Paid LAZ Parking $1080.00 as Administrator for ***** Parking for renewal of parking permit at ******** ******* *** in ****** **. Invoice # ******** Permit # ********. Operator is to ensure only paid permit holders are parked in lot so as to accomodate paying customers. Reached out on Jume 7th to advise there is a vehicel that appears to be stolen parked in lot. Broken window, busted ignition column, car is abandoned and parked in my usual spot (but this lot does not have reserved spots). Received one response back asking if car was still there, replied yes. That was June 17th, I have not heard back from anyone since depsite numerous attempts to reach someone via phone and email. There are other cars parking without pemits and I find myself at times unable to park. The company is not enforcing permits and thus paying customers such as myself have no where to park depsite paying for permit. At other times, I have parked in other avialiblae spots (agian this is a non-reseved lot) and I have been left threatening notes all because this company is not honoring its contract. it has failed to deliver services sold.Business Response

Your automated system closed this as resolved with a message from the business saying they would look into the matter and advise. That’s very smart of the business since it serves as a “response” for your computers but is in essence a non-response. Please reopen this complaint as non-resolved.

I reserved a parking spot at *** ******* **** ******** for June 8th. When I arrived at *** *******, there was no attendant on site, only a computer. I was unable to use my parking pass, and had to pay for parking. After calling LAZ, the representative instructed me to email Olanekan O******** to request a refund. I had a very upsetting email exchange with Mr. O********. He was very rude and unhelpful. If these are the kinds of employees LAZ has working for them, I could understand why all your parking facilities have between a "D-" and "F" rating on BBB. Nevertheless, I spoke with Jamari regarding the situation, who said he would reach out to Mr. O********. I called back Jamari, and have been unable to reach him. I was given 2 different phone numbers to call (###-###-#### ***** - No one has returned any of my calls and ###-###-#### - where I keep getting additional numbers to call to no avail) and 2 emails to contact people I was told would issue a refund ([email protected]; oo********@lazparking.com). No one seems interested in offering any assistance. (email exchange attached). I want a refund of $38.50 issued immediately to my original form of payment. I would like to say that I will never again do business with LAZ but, unfortunately, I park at the Cortlandt train station every day. But, I can assure you that other than parking at the station, I will never again reserve any spot at ANY LAZ parking lot, and will inform my friends to do the same. At the bottom of the attached email exchange, you will find a copy of the parking pass in question. I recommend employees receive better training when dealing with customers.Business Response

Here is the email that was sent to company:
I'm emailing to dispute the charge of non-payment on 3/18/2023.Notice number *************. On this date, I did attend the ******* ****** **** and parked in your parking lot. However, I did not park without paying. I used my phone to pay and on my end, it appeared to have paid, meaning the screen prompt to the message of paid.Now, I did not check my bank account to double check that it went through but in the past when I have paid for parking, I haven't had any issues. I didn't have any reason to take a screenshot of the site stating that I had paid.
In your original letter, you have photos of my car in a parking spot and me driving away and leaving the lot. Therefore, you must also have a photo of me on my phone paying as well.
I will be happy to pay for the $20 that I assumed I had already done but I do not believe it is fair to charge me $87 when I did pay and it was the fault of your site, not me.
Please review your camera and consider reducing my charge to the original price because this was not a deliberate action on my part. In fact, it was the opposite.I did pay; did everything that your site told me to and paid.Your system/technology didn't show it or deleted my transaction.My bank verified that they didn't cancel the transcation, which is what your lawyer suggested.I didn't know there was no payment until the letter was received in the mail.
This company refused to contact me back and instead sent the claim to a collection agency.There was never a number to call, only a number to pay.The collection agency blamed the person who owns the lot and not the company charging for payment because they rent the lot.It was a complete run around and one that was purposefully created to give the customer no option but to pay.This business is faceless and has no one to stand and confront its customers when their system fails and are treated unfairly.The only resolution they offer is for a customer to pay 4x the amount.Business Response

I got lunch at this plaza and paid for 2hour parking that said it was 4.60. I looked at my bank account and I was actually charged 16.00! I left before the 2 hours were over and never opted to extend my time! I want my 11.40 back! This is straight up scamming!Initial Complaint

I prepaid 4.75 to park at *** **** ***** *** *** **** **. I arrived to find no such prepaid parking was honored. I spoke with an attendant and was told if it’s not an option on the pay machine, it can’t be done. I then had to pay 4$ additional to park in the place I only went to because I’d prepaid. I reserved parking with LAZ Parking for 5/17/23 located near ******** ***** *********. Upon my arrival, i was informed that the parking lot was full and i would need to contact reservations for a refund. I have tried unsuccessfully for almost 3 weeks to reach someone regarding this to no avail. I have sent several emails with no response. I contacted the corporate office on 5/26 and spoke with Mindy who redirected me to send another email to the *************************** address but this time indicate that i spoke with headquarters. To date, no one has responded to my emails and you cannot reach anyone by phone. My reference number related to this reservations is *********. There is no reason i should be chasing someone down for a refund on services i was not able to utilize.Business Response

I started working downtown in a government building, didn’t know I was going to need to pay for parking. This is something new to me. I believe to have 3 violations, thus far. 1) 2/28/2023: paying after grace period….by minutes. Ended up making an account so this won’t happen again, well…went back the following week and going into the account doesn’t allow continuance of payment, had to log out and make a one time payment. 2) 03/07/2023: paying after grace again by a few minutes. I have trouble paying from the QR code because it glitches and I’ve emailed LAZ this morning since there wasn’t a contact number that payment wasn’t going through. It was an “Error message”, I tried for a long while. It stated “Card not authorized”, that card is mine with funds. In this lot there is no other option to pay but the QR code. I contacted this company and forwarded email proof of the emails sent, and they did not care. They still charged me. 3) 3/22/2023- ticket expired, give me a break please by a few minutes. I couldn’t leave my post until my job was done. I know I have to pay to park, as far as the rules they are not visible. Most these times parking was over $30 something, I paid. Please make things easier for someone trying to work and be a good citizen. What about a customer service line? I have loved ones dropping me off in my car now because I’m scared for these fees. I can’t afford it.

Laz parking literally pick and choose who they want to ticket and make rules as they go I was park at the side of the hospital emergency room so was a lot of car so I assume it was okay to park right there because there is no sign saying no parking I didn’t plan on being in the emergency room for 3 hours but I was because my son was sick on my windshield was a $50 when only one other car had but the one’s behind me didn’t I appeal for that reason but I yet got a response and didn’t want my ticket value to increase
