      Do not buy from Bobs. If you have a problem, they have a call center in **********  The connection is always super fuzzy making it very hard to hear the person on the other line especially with very thick accent. I bought a fireplace unit that is whistling and they won’t come in person to look at it even though it’s under warranty. I’ve been trying to resolve this for months with no help from this overseas company handling their customer service. It’s the worst customer service ever, so many better options to buy from then Bobs, don’t waste your money!!!!!!

      Dear Sir:
      I am an unhappy new customer that purchased a new bed Bobopedic Energy combination mattresses with headboard. I was approved for a lease agreement with ***** leasing in the amount of $120.43 due @ (2) weeks. I was scheduled to receive my new bed early. The bed arrived and had to deflated. Once deflated, it was installed by your delivery personnel. The bed had defaults and imperfections within the inner mattress.
      I notified the inspector of the problem, and he came out to my home. He said we would be receiving a new mattress soon to replace the old bed. It never happened. We are still waiting for almost 3 weeks without a replacement mattress bed. I have tried over (3) attempts to fix the problem, but the problem still is here presently. I was really upset at your customer service staff in-store including the head manager, Mr. Maurice M*******.
      He said “oh Mr. ****** we can fix the problems that existed with delivery. He stated that he could have the bed delivered to us flat, and not packaged in the shrink-rap. I agreed. When the bed was delivered on 11-18-24, the bed was not expanded. It was once again contained inside the shrink wrap.
      The manager, Mr. M******* lied to me as a new customer, and I had put my faith in him. I went into the store in Waldorf, and he “stated that he could not make me happier as a customer”. I left feeling very dissatisfied and without a new bed replacement. This is not good business practice and good business since that we as customers should go through.
      This type of reoccurring non-since should stop and never inter the circle with customer’s period. Simple common since is the solution and not mis-communication between the warehouse/customer service and front end management loop holes. What is discerning is that you continue to withdraw money from my bank account and not take care of your end of the agreement at Bob’s Discount Furniture. I have since contacted my bank over these issues and changed banks.

      We bought a sectional couch , fireplace and 3 tear lamp. The lamp came damaged and when they assembled it there was scratches all over it and only enough hardware to make two lamps functional. So ones the team left who couldn't speak any English assured me that he was sending a message about the missing parts ...... almost a month later they say they don't deliver to us and keep giving us the run a round. I highly recommend YOU DONT BUY FROM BOBS! Place is a low budget rip off!

      I bought a couch and recliner, and stupidly bought the "goof proof"
      Is bull. Started peeling after 2 months. Apparently that's normal wear.

      The Goof Proof protection is a plan through a third party company, Guardian. Guardian covers the merchandise damage resulting from a single accident. Accidental damage must be reported within thirty days of occurrence and they must be able to provide the necessary details to clearly indicate that this damage occurred through a single accident or incident and not through everyday use, misuse or abuse of the merchandise.
      Guardian has the right to deny claims for coverage under their own guidelines. . It is never our intent to disappoint a Customer and again we want to apologize that we could not meet their expectations. Thank you for understanding.

      Do not buy! Back pain from brand new furniture!
      tl;dr I bought the Bob's Renegade power recliner and double power recliner loveseat. When in the fully reclined position, there is a huge gap between the cushions where your lower back sinks through. I now have back pain I didn't have before. Despite contacting them within two days of delivery, Bob's refuses to give a full refund. If you are thinking of buying from Bob's, please read my full experience below. I hope it convinces you to shop elsewhere.
      I purchased two pieces from Bob's Renegade line and they were delivered Thursday November 21st. I sat on it that night and it felt comfortable. I had also been to the store a few weeks prior to try it out. Friday night I sat on it for several hours and noticed that there was a huge gap between the cushions in the fully reclined position. I reached behind myself and could feel my lower back sagging with no support. I do not typically have back issues, but my lower back was sore after sitting and still hurts.
      While I understand that Bob's is advertised as discount furniture, I think that is more about how long the furniture lasts and not that it makes you actively uncomfortable.
      I submitted a contact form to Bob's on two days after delivery. They initially offered no resolution but later offered a replacement which I declined because this is clearly a problem with how the furniture is designed. They then offered "reselection" to choose other pieces. I declined because I'm not interested in any more of Bob's furniture after seeing how poorly it is made.
      Bob's could easily refund me and resell these like new items in their Furniture Outlet and be whole. On the other hand, I am out a significant chunk of money and have a sore back on top of it. If you are thinking of buying from Bob's, I hope my experience will convince you to shop elsewhere.

      We are on our second recliner piece to our 3 part sofa and it has suddenly stopped working. After seeing them replace the first one, I got curious and I turned it over to see that 2 wires in it have been sheered off by the metal workings that provide reclining action. Build design quality piss poor. Shop else where…

      Very bad quality of furniture, materials on couches fade within three months. They promised a warranty and replacement for defective parts. We put in for a claim. They denied us. I would like to file a class actions suit should any want to join. I will secure an attorney. Figures BBB won’t allow me post an email. So the BBB is worthless!!

      The purchase of two sectionals was easy and fast. I purchased the extended warranty for almost $500.00. A motor failed on a recliner so I made a claim. The repair group called Guardian are terrible. Don’t waste your money on warranties with Bobs

      Your sales rep in the ********** ** stored lied in order to sell the goof proof protection. The sales person said it would include 2 cleanings a year on a rug. My friends dog peed on my rug along with other stains… I called to fill out a claim and was told it doesn't qualify after I paid $400 for the service!!! I cant even get a $75 rug cleaning. Very disappointed and feel they stole my money. Unsatisfied with the lies.

      I purchased a couch from Bob’s approximately a year ago. I also purchased the goof proof plan. In my opinion, that was a total waste of money. The couch looks like it’s aged five years or so in less than a year. The foam in the back is crushed and flat, the seat is all pulley on the fabric, there’s an accidental blood stain from my husband’s hand that was cut and bleeding and he didn’t know on the couch. This happened back in June 2024, it is now mid November 20 24 and it still hasn’t been any resolution. They stated that it would take 90 days to be resolved and its way past that 90 days. Now they claim that it could take longer and it probably won’t be until mid December or beginning of the year For them to get the repairs done.. I have stated I have a house full of people coming for Thanksgiving and for Christmas and there’s no place for them to sit since the couch is out of commission not to mention it has come to look like an eyesore. Keep in mind that this sofa is barely used. We use the chairs at my island or at my dining room table more often than we’ve ever used this sofa. But we do use it when we have guests. Now the sofa will be out of commission, having less seating for my guests. Not forget to mention it looks like a complete eyesore or is everything else looks lovely in my home. I do not see any resolution in sight. I spoke to the resolution specialist several of them, made several different phone calls, sent emails. And they still give me the same runaround. I’ve even asked for the seller to be replaced with the more significant one and I would pay the difference in price, however I’m not gonna continue to pay for this sofa since it’s not useful and I want to give it back and they haven’t agreed to anything. I’m out of ideas and I need help. I have several pieces of Furniture from Bob’s. However, this is the first time I ever had such a bad experience. I will definitely not be buying anything from them again.
