      Worst company I ever dealt with. I never received the wallet I ordered, which happens all the time to everyone, they said too bad . It's the shippers responsibility until it reaches my hand, it never did. Mailmen constantly put things in the wrong box, people are reimbursed....not Dooney & Bourke, they say too bad. I lost my money, i even sent them clips prooving this, never again will i shop there and hope nobody else will. Poor poor customer service very unprofessional.

      If I could give a negative star rating, I definitely would. The company does not stand behind its product and their customer service staff is rude. I purchased a purse which after about 2 months' use (one month past being able to return it) caved in on the sides at the bottom. I claimed it was defective and was told I should have "stuffed with tissue paper and hung when not in use"; i.e., it was my fault.. Well, that is ridiculous for daily purse use. Both my daughter and friend have the identical purse and it is fine. "Defective" is a very broad, non-specific term which evidently covers everything so they don't have to stand behind their product. I wrote to the customer service staff and followed that up with a written letter to the Customer Service Manager.

      I wish I could give 0 stars. This is one of the worst companies I've ever purchased anything from. They said it was in stock and the next time it's out of stock. How can something be in stock one day when I purchase the item and then out of stock the next. Tells me it's on back order in an email on that Saturday, call on Monday and they said it's being shipped out. Now I check my account and I'm seeing two pending charges. When I called they say because it was pending one day and shipped the next, but will update when I receive them item. I will never order from them again. I will go in the department store and pay full price for another brand name bag. They are full of sugar honey ice tea.

      Customer service is the worst I have ever encountered. They refused to cancel an order 5 minutes after it was placed, and said they could not apply the discount I was given. They said I could reorder and then return the first one. They then charged me 10 dollars for return. They are not honest people. I will never order anything from them again nor should other people.

      Discount codes Dooney gives you don't work and they don't honor them when you call with complaint. Looking at other reviews I'm not the only one making this complaint. $30.00 should have been my discount!

      Worst customer service experience. Received a used bag, and was not given the option to have the item replaced. Instead i was asked very rudely to return the item which will be inspected when returned to determine who is paying the shipping fee. Never before have I encountered such rudeness. Be aware! Don’t buy from this brand!

      Their customer service is horrible and rude at best. Ordered a handbag, stated 3 to 4 days shipping and took over 6 days to arrive. They stated they had 24 to 72 hours, not stated in writing by the way, to even ship..then the process stated. Overall, rude customer service and not will to help. This after spending 1000s of dollars over the years

      I have liked the look of Dooney and Bourke for a long time, so when I got some birthday money I purchased a purse. Because they're well known I assumed they were well respected - I never thought to look up reviews. I learned the hard way that they have terrible customer service.
      I found a purse at a much better price, so I attempted to cancel my Dooney order less than 24 hours after placing it. I had not yet received any tracking information. The online system wouldn't let me, so I contacted them through email. They informed me it was "too late" and I'd have to wait to receive and then return the item.
      Their shipping took a long time, but when I finally got it I immediately looked into returning it. The online system said I'd only get $83 dollars back - $33 short of what I paid! I called them to ask what was going on. Their call center is in ***** and the associate was difficult to understand and rude. I finally understood that he was saying the online system wasn't reflecting the amount I'd receive, and ALSO that I was going to be charged $25 total for the shipping!
      It is ridiculous to refuse to cancel my order before it's shipped, make me return it, only to charge me $25 shipping for the whole ordeal. I cannot recommend this company because of their abysmal customer service.

      Worst customer service. I read a review below about poor customer service on a repair ticket and I had the exact same issue. I sent in photos that showed the top zipper on my purse was clearly broken. They sent a message back and literally this was the message "We are unable to provide repair services." No explanation. No further detail, nothing! I went back and forth with them and got the exact same response. Why even offer repair services if you're not going to repair anything? I would have even been willing to pay for the repair but I prefer to have the D&B as the maker of the purse repair the purse.

      Just in the last 6 months I have received used merchandise and have had terrible customer service and just spent 20 dollars to return a totally disgusting bag the was deformed, no registration, incorrect size bag. Dirty and the inside was ruined, scotch taped all over the outside, Also ordered a new bag for Christmas and received someone else’s purchase! Never got what I ordered but told I would. Florentine bag that was used was returned. Very unhappy. Incorrect description of the bag I wanted to order had to call to make sure I would get the correct item. Total breakdown of service to the customer!
