      Had same experience as ****. Never received my order, just a bunch of excuses about a back order. Now trying to get a refund. $371.00 . Which they took right away. Don't think they should have took my money before they shipped the wine. Disappointed and very frustrated. Don't waste your time or money. ****

      I ordered wine four weeks ago. Still have not received it. No responses to my email. I will dispute with my credit card company. This company appears to be a scam.

      Buyer beware. I ordered four bottles of chainti for Christmas on 12/10. Order was finally delivered 12/24 and contained the WRONG WINE. I contacted customer service and it has been another two weeks without remediation. Not recommended.

      I am sorry to hear that we had dropped the ball on ** ****** order. In the retail wine business, the holidays can be hectic and errors are seldom made. In this case it was part-time seasonal help that created this debacle. This is totally our fault and we have since taken care of the necessary refund etc. The hyperbolic comments are troubling and we would like to note that we have an overwhelming number of happy customers who do business with us on a regular basis.

      At best, my experience was a colossal waste of time, at worst, an obnoxious struggle to avoid being robbed.
      * An order wasn't fulfilled
      * Some customer service emails were not returned
      * When service emails that were returned they contained lies about the order
      * A clear request for a refund and cancellation was ignored until I explained that I would bring in third parties
      The whole process took over three months.
      Obviously, I would never attempt to perform a business transaction with this company again.

      We are always concerned when we cannot fulfill a client’s needs. From time to time, as in this case, a client orders a wine which our supplier promises is in stock and in fact it is on order from the winery/source. Therefore, there will be a delay in the shipment from our end. This is a condition that causes concern and sometimes upset clients. There were several wines on *** ******* order which fell into this category.
      We find the exclamatory comments in *** ******* review upsetting and would mention that a vast portion of the population of our client’s understand that this is the nature of the wine business. Vintages and availability comes and goes and we are at the mercy of our suppliers restocking timetable which can span many months. Furthermore, we would like to mention the fact that all industries are suffering from supply chain issues as well.
      We realize that aspects of our system can be improved and we are diligently working to improve all aspects of our business. We do apologize profusely for our occasional situation where we have a dissatisfied client.

      Still waiting for an order made in early December, no one answers the phone nor returns calls. Very suspect and not fast for sure. The customer service line no longer takes messages. Hangs up on you.

      First, I would like to mention that we have let go some of our customer service staff, however that is not an excuse. We apologize for *** *********** experience with our company. We are sorry that he has had limited or no response to emails and phone calls. We are improving our customer service model.
      The particular wine that *** ********* has currently on order has had, and still has inventory issues with our supplier. It was a very popular item during the holidays and subsequently was in and out of stock. All industries are experiencing supply-chain issues and the wine industry is not excluded. Most of our customer base that has been with us for over 2 decades understands the nature of these hurdles typical to our industry.
      In this case I am currently trying to locate inventory for the particular wine that is on order. I am limiting the timetable in this matter and promise to either make the client whole with the proper wine or I will refund the full amount paid.

      Holiday time for retailers in our industry is always a nightmare. We had part-time holiday staff that was sub-par and some issues such as this came to light afterwards, and too late to react to, and for that we apologize to *** ****** and take full responsibility. As with most businesses where details abound, we are finding it difficult to staff employees, especially in our customer service department. Communication with our clients is a priority and we are making improvements.
      The Bordeaux wine *** ****** has on order, like a myriad of wines these days, has had inventory/supply chain issues with our distributor. This has a devastating effect especially on imported wines from Europe.
      I am taking it upon myself to follow up on this and either make arrangements to ship her the wine or refund the full amount paid in expedient fashion.

      The nature of the retail wine business these days is such that we are at the mercy of a very complicated and malfunctioning supply chain. Trucking, shipping, availability of bottles/glass, raw materials etc. all have had an effect on how we do business. “Timely” is a relative term in the wine business and can fluctuate in definition in the best of times.
      Customer service-wise the hectic holiday season from Thanksgiving through the new year brought to light some flaws in our system. We had an awful time hiring quality part time/temporary employees as most businesses experienced.
      *** ******* has 9 items in the particular order he is referencing. A significant number of the items are affected by the issues stated above, especially the European wines.
      In this situation, for all of this inconvenience *** ******* is dealing with, we sincerely apologize and take full blame. I will locate inventory for the particular wines that are on order or I will refund the full amount paid.

      I ordered 6 bottles of wine got concerned because of bad reviews, received an email from director of wine parity Rob R****. He informed me everything was fine that sometimes workers were short handed at some of wineries and they do 100's of orders per day and assured me my order was being rushed along. I received this order 3 days later as he promised and i couldn't be happier with him and the business. So i cant speak for everyone else but absolutely a 5 star customer experience for me.       I was a little worried after reading some reviews. But the service Rep was really polite and helpful. I get it, supply issues and inflation are wrecking havoc on everyone. But Bruce in customer service made me feel like I was a priority.
