DO NOT USE PRICELINE!! I’d give -5 if I could. I recently booked a flight/hotel package with Priceline. Luckily I decided to call the hotel to confirm the room before my trip or I would have had nowhere to stay when I got there. There was no reservation. The hotel told me sometimes Priceline uses a “ghost” credit card that is declined and the reservation is then not made. They said they have had issues with Priceline. When I called Priceline they gave no explanation of why I had no hotel reservation but was charged. They ‘cancelled’ the reservation-that was never made in the first place-and I was told the flight would not be affected, even though it was sold as a package. The next day my flight price increased by $92 and I was charged. I was verbally given a refund amount for the hotel, which was to include 20% for inconvenience-on my initial call to Priceline. I did not get that amount of refund and was told they do not refund extra for inconvenience. I asked them to refund the flight also so I could start all over with a package booking. They said the flight was no longer refundable. I said Priceline should pay for it then and make this right because it was their fault I had no hotel reservation. I was told that was not their policy. They never made it right. DO NOT USE PRICELINE!!!

I made a reservation through Priceline to check into the motel on June 27 2025 & check out June 28 2025 I arrived at the motel to check in & got informed that the motel apparently didn't have a reservation for me &; the desk clerk was extremely rude & cursed me out so I never got to check in to my room I've been calling Priceline since June 27 2025 to get a refund & have had long wait times to get a call back & still have no refund for my money that they got paid for but I didn't get my room so if you use Priceline be very cautious you might get scammed out of your money too

We booked through Priceline- they used another party to book our room. We had a death in the family and asked for a consideration for a refund. They told us the hotel had to agree- we called the hotel and they did - cancelled the reservation and refunded the money. Priceline still refused to refund our money after spending 3 hours on the phone with them and then changing the reasons why multiple times. So, because they told us to cancel the room and get a refund- some of us couldn’t even go to the hotel while the others stayed behind to grieve- we were out the room and the funds. What a scam.

The worst decision to book hotels via Priceline.com. Never ever in my life I will use this website again! I booked the hotel in ********* *** After arrival to the hotel I have been told by the clerk that they had never received my reservation! He showed me all the reservations during that day and mine was not there. I ended up paying twice for the room. What about priceline? Nothing at all, they have "created" an issue and two year have been telling me that their decision is still pending. They asked me to email them the proof of my reservation 3 times! Another experience with them happened just recently in June of 2025. I tried to pay for booking and the system did not accept my credit card. I entered another credit card but they have changed the dates of my reservation! As a results I payed for the reservation in July, instead of June! They refused to proceed the refund and “advised” me to talk to the hotel! The hotel clerk showed me that they do not even see the sum of reservation until the check-in date! As result I had to pay for the room twice! off course, I have not use my second reservation which I do not need! I have lost more than $200 with Priceline.com and 5-6 hours of my time! I would recommend to avoid them at all costs! Hotels have their own discount systems and it is much easier and cheaper to book with them! Priceline customer service is a disaster! I had to wait 3 hours to speak with a life person!

I booked a room at the ********** ** *** ****** ** through Priceline. *** ********** had no record of it and needed to charge my credit card. Priceline has no record of the transaction so is unable to issue a refund. I find it hard to believe that a company this size has no record of credit card transactions. I have an 820 credit rating so my Platinum credit card is disputing the charges. If Priceline has no record of the Transaction ID Number my credit card will bill them as this means Priceline made a fraudulent charge. I'd had good success w/Priceline in the past but apparently if something goes wrong, they're unable to fix it. NEVER USE PRICELINE, LOOK AT THEIR RATING, I'M NOT THE ONLY ONE THEY SCREWED, DON'T BE THE NEXT ONE THEY SCREW.

In May I booked 4 hotels room stays for a trip to ******  I received 4 confirmations and reservation numbers. Three days before my trip I called one of the hotels to get some information. To my dismay, the hotel did not have me registered as a guest. As a precaution I called the other hotels, and learned a second hotel did not have me registered either. After 7 hours on the phone with Priceline over two days, they could not resolve the problem. When I asked to speak to a manager, no one responded, and they decided to give up on helping me. All they offered was to cancel my "reservation".
If Priceline reads this, as reaching someone at their corporate office is difficult, how does this happen? How can you prevent this from happening to someone else? No one want to take a 13 hour flight, and arrive at a hotel that doesn't have a room for you and your kids.

      Horrible thieves,
I booked a reservation for my first vacation with my son. It showed on the amenities that there was a pool and when we got there they said the pool had been closed for years.
I called as soon as I found out and asked if they could move us to another place or refund my money which they made me wait until checkout and then denied me.
Before that I had an issue with the hotel room because I had spoiled some ice in the floor and when I wiped it up the floor was disgusting so I took a video and asked showed the front desk clerk in which she comped my room for the night and had my room swept and mopped.
I called priceline because she said O had to go through them because it was pre-paid from them and they are doing everything in their power not to give me my money back.
They denied my refund trying to tie this issue into the pool issue, I've been calling everyday and they tell me that the hotel is denying the comp.
I've called the hotel and they say it shows right there that it's comped and I can't even get my receipt showing it because of the fact it's been booked through Priceline.
They are stealing money and I see I'm not the only one they have taken advantage of.

I purchased a flight and hotel package with travel insurance for cancellation and interruption. My return flight was delayed 24 hours. The insurance policy said they covered interruptions for 12 plus hours. The insurer and Priceline refused to cover the additional hotel and meals costs. I found the insurer, *********** has a BBB rating of F. I assumed that Priceline would stand behind their partner. They did not. All they did was take notes.
