I was in presale to purchase tickets for **** in *****. I get an email from ************ about being in the queue. I click on it and there is a link to a ************ website. It looks just like ************ (a reliable and long standing website for ticket sales). I choose my tickets and check out. I was charged $1600 in fees on top of the tickets and was told I would not get the seats until the day of the concert. I didn’t see anything about a no refunds or final sale policy. I didn’t realize until the day after that this wasn’t ************ and I am sick about it. I don’t know this company. I would never spend $7000 on tickets where people were traveling into town just for this concert with a company that practiced deceptive marketing practices. I called and emailed customer service and I could not speak to a manager nor could they tell me when I would receive my tickets. They are were rude about any sort of refund. I purchased seats to the same concert in a better section 10 rows up tonight through ************ for $5000 less. This company is a complete racket!!!! It is important to note that we are not affiliated with **************** and a client would not be directed to our website from there. TicketFaster**** is a resale marketplace that has several disclaimers advising tickets are being resold. ****** search results are based off keywords and ad revenue, we are not liable for a client selecting an ad versus a primary market website or the venue itself. In the description of TicketFaster's ****** search ad, the word "AD" is noted on the top left and the first sentence below the website name states "Ticketfaster is a trusted online resale marketplace for event tickets." We make no attempt to disguise our business model as anything other than a resale ticket website. Multiple disclaimers are also available to the client throughout the purchase process as well as a statement above the Place Order button that reads "We are a resale marketplace, not the ticket seller. Prices are set by third-party sellers and may be above or below face value. By clicking "Place Order," you are agreeing to TicketFaster****'s terms & policies. All sales are final."
The client has contacted via phone and email and been assisted with their concerns. There is no new information to provide. We have provided information for reselling tickets if they no longer wish to use them. There is no error on behalf of our website or the seller's office; the client confirmed the use of our website and to abide by our policies when placing the order. Tickets are guaranteed to be delivered in time for the event and they will be notified when completed via email. We recommend monitoring all junk / spam folders as needed.

I am rejecting this response because:You clearly do participate in deceptive marketing because you advertise as Ticketfaster but your legal name is Ticket Source??? So your online name is ONE letter off a legitimate ticket company, your BBB rating is an F, and your online reviews are terrible! All of those ratings are from people who have experienced exactly what I did. I’ve never heard of you and I certainly would not spend $7600 on tickets with a company that has such a terrible reputation. I was not only mislead by a website that looked exactly like ************, I was GROSSLY overcharged. I purchased two seats for the same concert yesterday through the legitimate ************ queue that were 14 rows better for $1900. I am willing to provide proof. I called the company to try and negotiate a settlement and they offered me $179. Also, I am not due to obtain the seats (if they exist) until the day of the concert so I do not have time to resell them through a reputable marketplace. I have an open dispute through **** and I am asking that the BBB hold this company accountable for their actions of deceptive marketing practices, irresponsible markup, unwillingness to negotiate in good faith with a customer they deceived, and clearly demonstrating a pattern of doing business in bad faith to the general public.

We have addressed the client's concerns through multiple channels. We have no control over how the client arrived to our website. Attached are screenshots of our website and **************** - there are obvious differences and we are very clearly identified as TicketFaster. Ultimately, it is the client's responsibility to know the website they are using and read all information provided to them. In placing the order, the client agreed to
1.) the use of our website over any other of their choosing. There is no obligation to place an order with us and the checkout pages may be left at any time for any reason prior to completion of the order.
2.) all order details, including but not limited to the pricing (including fees and taxes if applicable) and the fact that prices may be more than face value.
3.) to our terms and policies, which include a final sale.Attached is the disclaimer that the client read and agreed to directly about the place order button at the time of purchase.
While we are sorry to hear the client may not have intended to purchase with use and may not have read all the information properly, it does not negate the purchase or our policies. The purchase was made and there is no error on behalf of our website or the seller's office. The order will remain valid and a final sale. The client may use or resell the tickets at their discretion. If the client chose to make any additional purchases elsewhere for tickets, there is nothing we can do about that.

It is the client's right to disagree with us. The client has contacted us via multiple channels and been advised the same information each time; there is no different information to provide. There is no error on behalf of our website. The client did not read all information provided to them during checkout, which we have no control over. All information is presented so that clients can make the most informed decisions during their purchase. I bought theater tickets through Ticket Network online on 1/30/2023 (see attached for invoice), I found out later from the theater venue ****** ***** that they are an unauthorized third party seller. The first issue is Ticket Network up charged me FIVE times the actual cost of the tickets. The second issue is that the Box Office venue, ****** ***** would NOT accept the tickets I purchased from Ticket Network so I had to pay for the tickets a second time on 2/9/2023 (see invoice from Ticket Network as compared to the invoice from ****** *****, which proves I had to pay twice and ALSO proves how much Ticket Network up charged me when they had nothing to do with the labor and cost of the production of the actual play). The reasons ****** ***** gave for not accepting my tickets is that another person's name was on the ticket (the reseller *** *********), and the fact that I paid FIVE times more for the production than the actual cost of the tickets, and so ****** ***** called that fraud and that they would not accept a third party company making that kind of profit out of their production. See the attached letter of support that ****** ***** ONLY accepts tickets paid for on their website (NOT Ticket Networks website), and that the name on the ticket didn't match my name so they denied me access. Also see attached Ticket Networks email responses. Today, 3/17/2023 I emailed them proof that I paid twice for the production, we will see what they say to that. This issue is not yet resolved, with my credit card company, ******* *** or Ticket Network even though I have all this evidence.Business Response

TicketNetwork is a secondary market website where tickets are listed for resale by a variety of licensed and/or registered ticket sellers; we are not affiliated with any venue or performer. We don’t directly own, price, charge for or ship the tickets listed on our website. The ticket sellers access their tickets from a wide variety of exclusive sources. The tickets are priced by the sellers based on ticket availability and the event’s popularity. This means that ticket prices on our site will almost always be above or below the face value printed on the tickets. It is important to note that it is stated on all pages of checkout that prices may be above or below the face value.
The terms of the purchase agreed to at the time the order was placed with our website state that all sales are final. This is an industry standard as tickets remain valid for the rescheduled date and time. All tickets are guaranteed to be valid for use.
The client has previously contacted us with their claims and we have requested venue documentation that the tickets they were provided were denied invalid. At this time, they have not presented documentation that the tickets they received were not accepted. The seller's office confirmed the tickets were valid. Per the customer provided letter, the venue will only accept tickets from their distribution partner, ****, which the client received. There is no indication in the letter from the venue that the specific tickets the client had were denied entry as invalid; it simply confirms that tickets were resold to her and the face value of the ticket. This purchase was fulfilled in accordance with the policies and will remain under our final sale policy as there is no error on behalf of our website or the seller's office. 12/26/22-I paid $453.84 for 2 tickets to a **** ******** show in ********* ** on 3/18/23.Each ticket was 187 plus a service charge of 67.97 x2. The going price for the show is between 25-40 PER TICKET. Once finding out the current price of the tickets, I called the 888 number and was on the phone for 43 minutes with a Christian B. - who would not tell me his full name, kept putting me on hold and would not allow me to talk to a manager. He stated he could not do anything- he offered a 150$ "voucher"or i could resell the tickets. I told him there was no way I could resell a ticket at the price he charged me. I asked for a refund he said no. I told him I knew this was a scam and that I would be reporting him. His cat kept meowing in the background- He said a manager would call me in 10 minutes- that was 3 hours ago. I don't know how to get my money back and i dont even know if the tickets are real. I searched for ************ on the internet and assumed I was in the website that I was searching for. The scam is that they are called ticketnetwork; stating that they are from ************ They way overcharged for the tickets. I never intended to business with them. I want to cancel my purchase because they were not the ones that I wanted to do business with. I cannot file a credit card claim because they state that the tickets will arrive in the mail, the Friday before the concert. Others have complained that they never received any tickets or that this particular site even changed the spelling of the event and you did not even pay for what you wanted to see.Business Response

It should be noted that the client purchased a package. This means that they will receive more than just tickets for their event. Both electronic and physical deliveries will take place for the order. Tickets are often on delivery delays for security purposes and such delays are set by the event organizers (venues, artists, teams, etc) and neither our website or the seller's office have any control over these decisions. As per the policies agreed to upon checkout, all tickets are guaranteed to be delivered in time for the event only. We cannot guarantee delivery for personal preference. Delivery occurs as soon as tickets are received by the seller's office.
The client may receive parking, transportation, and/or merchandise (depending on the specific package purchased). If the package includes physical components, they will be shipped via FedEx to the address provided during purchase, but event tickets and other virtual components (such as food and beverage credits for use at the venue) will be delivered electronically and will not be included in the physical shipment.
If the package includes additional VIP services like hotel accommodations or transportation services, they will receive an email from the vendor with more information about their order and we recommend keeping an eye out for any important email updates regarding the order and delivery.Initial Complaint

On February 17, 2023 I purchased two tickets via ticketnetwork.com for a total of $150 per ticket. My complaint is that this site is operation off extortion of unsuspecting customers. The web address is almost identical to the real “************” and the website itself is built almost identically in order to successfully scam customers. Unfortunately I realized too late I was taken advantage of after a friend sent me the REAL link to purchase tickets. ************ even refers to this site as “beware of fraud tickets” on their site. The tickets were sold to me for$70 over the venue’s asking price. No customer is willingly purchasing tickets from here for that much above face value. They are getting away with this by using extorting practices to trick unsuspecting customers like myself. After looking at reviews, I see how often this is happening and dont understand how they are still operating.Business Response

I ******* **************** *******. Ticketfaster came up, after realizing it wasn't ************ i called to cancel the order. I then started searching all of the bad reviews and scams that had occurred with Ticketfaster. I explained to the customer service rep that I needed to cancel the order due to the misleading website. They stated no they couldn't and he would refund half the services fees. I hung up and called ****** and opened a dispute with them. I am rejecting this response because:This is fraud. They domain squat to trick people into thinking their site is ************. The same color scheme and layout as ************. They have scammed people out of thousands of dollars by promising tickets that are invalid and fraudulent. They do not have the tickets to resale. This sale was under the false pretenses of the site being ************. Their customer ratoings and satisfaction shows that this is a scam for a company. I would never have purchased tickets from this company. I do research on companies ratings and reviews before purchasing. If I would have known this wasn't ************ i would have never purchased. They have fake review sites that are managed by the company TicketNetwork to falsify reviews. Once you ****** them, there are many talks of class action lawsuits and individual lawsuits. A company shouldn't have to mimic a website if they are an upstanding company that has reputable reputation. As many consumers have said, I was tricked my ticketfaster into believing they had tickets AVAILABLE which they do not, because they aren't on sale. The ticket seller that is on this claim, has horrendous reviews as well.
BBB has TIcketFaster as a 1.7 for a reason.
I want the order canceled. A dispute is currently open with ****** and they anaylyzing their relationship with TicketFaster.

On 11/17/22 i purchased 2 tickets from ticket network. the transaction total was $1,925.10. I am looking to get a refund because when looking at the ticket information the row on the ticket information does not exist. When i look at other ticket sites that show that specific concerts seating floor A row 25 does not exist. None of the floor areas go up to 25, they stop at 20. When i reached out to ticket network they had said if the tickets didn’t work at the time of the show then i would only get a part refund, but if i am showing proof the tickets don’t exist now, before the show why cant i get a full refund? I have asked my bank to file a case against them for months now, the bank has reached out to them and ticket network has only replied with their policies. The first picture i have uploaded is the ticket information. The tickets you receive may be in the specific section listed here or in an equivalent or better location. This listing describes tickets that the seller does not own or may not know the exact location of the seats, but is offering to obtain for you. Once your order is confirmed, we guarantee that you will receive tickets prior to the start of the event for seats that are in an equivalent or better location or you will receive a full refund.
At times, the specific row ordered may not exist or is not in use for the particular event, which is because the seller will only obtain the tickets after purchase and thus cannot guarantee a specific row.Tickets were delivered to the client on 11/21/2022 via the official ticketing platform, ****************, in accordance with the policies agreed to at checkout. They may review their emails for the specific seating information of their tickets; which again will be an equal or better location and not match the specific purchase details. All tickets are guaranteed to be valid for entry into the event. We are unable to honor a refund request at this time as there is no error with the purchase or tickets on behalf of our website or the seller's office.

On 1/20/2023, I attempted to visit **************** to purchase event tickets. Somehow I was redirected to ****************. I was unaware that I was not on ************** website and inadvertently purchased tickets in the value of $500. I called this organization's customer service number 10 minutes later and they refused to cancel my purchase, despite the fact that I was misled to believe that I was on ************** website. I ordered from ticketfaster on 11/15/22. I bought two ****** ***** tickets for 1,500 dollars. I have not paid for them at all due to going through ******. I was tricked because the site and website address is similar to ************. It came up first on the ****** search. TicketFaster.com is a resale marketplace that has several disclaimers advising tickets are being resold. ****** search results are based off keywords and ad revenue, we are not liable for a client selecting an ad versus a primary market website or the venue itself. In the description of TicketFaster's ****** search ad, the word "AD" is noted on the top left and the first sentence below the website name states "Ticketfaster is a trusted online resale marketplace for event tickets." We make no attempt to disguise our business model as anything other than a resale ticket website. Multiple disclaimers are also available to the client throughout the purchase process as well as a statement above the Place Order button that reads "We are a resale marketplace, not the ticket seller. Prices are set by third-party sellers and may be above or below face value. By clicking "Place Order," you are agreeing to TicketFaster.com's terms & policies. All sales are final."
Clients that purchase through our website do have the option to resell tickets that they can no longer use. The resale information was provided to the client on 12/15/2022.

I am rejecting this response because: false advertising i was never notified when the group cancelled the pictures above show that they knew i didn't find these till i was notified by a team member at the event i only booked to see **** **** *** ******* which they said cancelled that day but the picture the were advertising shows they knew ahead of time and did not notify me i would just like my money back please
