      I have been a customer for over 10 years. My debit card expired they sent a new one and said the pin would come in a few days. It never came and I was told to go into the bank. Then I had fraud on the card a few days later. I waited a week finialy received it but again no pun. I tried to set it up and it said no card found. Went into bank they said the card was accidentally canceled and would expedite me a card. Well card never came. At this point I was without a card for three weeks. Called they said it was never put in, I watched the women do it the week before. They said they’d expedite it once again. Well no thanks. Taking my money to another bank.

      They have left me unable to purchase anything with my available funds. I can’t use an atm. I can’t charge to the card. They act like it’s a minor inconvenience that I can’t get groceries. This is unacceptable behavior from a large banking institution. That have told me to just try tomorrow. So I should just go hungry for a day according to Webster bank.

      WOW!!! Webster customer service is horrible. Tried to access an online profile for a business account and the service reps keep pulling up the wrong accounts. I have used the online profile for many years now but suddenly I'm being told it does not exist. Then the service rep flagged the accounts so that customer service can no longer assist and must be done in person. This bank is steadily going downhill over the past 5 years. Be smart choose a better bank.

      The Mobile Banking service gotta be the most impractical thing ever. I moved and switched to bank of america, so much better and easier to use it’s not even funny. webster taking multiple days just to be able to link my account to bank of america so I can move MY money. L bank.

      Several months ago, I opened a CD with *********** now owned by Webster Bank. The CD with lots of my dollars matured on April 16, 2023. I called yesterday, April 17 to close the account and have the funds sent either back to my bank account where they came from or to have a check sent to my New York address, which the bank has on their file. This is when the nightmare started. The person I spoked with asked me the typical verification questions, my phone, e-mail, address and four digits of my social. After that, she said a code will be sent to my phone, a few seconds later she said that did not work and she will need to ask me five questions. Some questions were stupid, like remembering the plates of my cars, but still I know I answered them correctly. The person told me right away thay I failed and I had to wait 24 hours to call again. I told her this was not aceptable and I wanted to speak with a supervisor. She said the supervisor acll me in about 30 minutes. NO call after two hours, so I called again. This time I was told I could go to any Webster bank branch and have them close the account and give me a check. I went to the ********* ****** ****** ** ********* and was told they could not help me because it was a Brio Direct account. I asked one of the managers there to call Brio so they can verify it was me and close my account but the person at Webster was told the same story, they just could not help. I was upset and called ********** myself while at the bank. The person I spoke with refused to speak with any of the Webster employees to verify my identity so she gave me another set of five questions. I answered them correctly again and she told me right away I failed and will have to wait 24 hours and that was the end of it. No further explanation. It is very clear Webster Bank is running a scam to keep the funds of the clients longer tha they need to be held and all that time whithout paying any interests. Run away from ********** or Webster Bank.

      Can’t begin to tell you how horrible this is… Been trying two weeks to get my debit card activated now I’m frozen out… They send you in circles pretty well with different people… Automated system just cut you off… Now I am without a debit card until I go to the bank physically with ID and who knows how long that’s going to take… Would not recommend this bank to anybody… My husband doesn’t want to change bags, but I would in a heartbeat, because they’re awful

      This Company is the worst. When You close out Your credit card They make You call to make Your payments which is ridiculous. Their Customer Service is rude. I would have given Them a zero if I could. I have been a Customer for awhile and I left because of their Customer service.

      They suspended my account 2 months ago because I tried to withdraw the $52k I had deposited. I can't get a return call let alone my $52k. Their service is indescribably bad.

      I am very upset with this company. I have been trying to get my money from them for over 2 years now. I have a commuter account with them and today when I was on the phone with customer service. I was told the money was gone. I Told her that I am login to my account, as we speak. How can you tell me it's not there. During the pandemic I wanted to take it out and I was blocked by the supervisor and said that the company I worked for had it. And so I called the company I worked for and they said HSA had it. So now 2 or so years later the money is gone. But it's still in my account With HSA. I have emailed and called trying to get any one to help me. But I always hit a wall. I would recommend anyone to think twice about doing business with HSA bank.
