Spectrum is a bunch of crooks!! Called to cancel my service before it was due and was told I had to wait 2 days to cancel!! WHY!!? Called again to cancel after sending my equipment back and kept asking questions what service I went to. Why does it matter? I just want to cancel my service. Sent me another bill for the next month and called again. They told me once they receive the equipment the bill would be void. Almost 2 months later got another bill saying I owe them for sevice I never used!! Horrible service!!

Spectrum's service itself was solid while I had it — good speeds, reliable connection, and minimal downtime. However, the billing policy left a really bad taste in my mouth. I canceled my service on April 27, but they still charged me for the full billing cycle (April 22 to May 21), with no prorated refund or adjustment. When I contacted customer service to resolve it, I was simply told they "don’t prorate."
It's incredibly frustrating to pay for 3+ weeks of service I'm not even using. I understand company policy, but that doesn’t make it fair to customers. If you're thinking about canceling Spectrum, make sure to time it right — otherwise, you’re paying for nothing.

Slow slow slow internet speed, prices increase every month. I have DVR set to record series and it will randomly not record new episodes so if I don't go through and know what SHOULD be recording each day and manually hit record on the shows it misses then I miss them. Regularly cuts off the last 30 seconds of dvr so you don't know how the show ends. I miss *** verse from 2008 LOL

Horrible company! They lie to you about the pricing when you sign up and then they will change your plan and overcharge you and deny the offer ever existed.
They changed the bill amount 3 times before it was even due and said good luck finding a better deal. They tell you - you are lucky to have the offer they doubled .
They scam you and lie to you . Don’t walk …. RUN to ANY OTHER company other than spectrum. DECEITFUL

I called to cancel my internet.
Someone picked up, got my information, then put me on hold for 30+ minutes. I'm still on hold as I write this.
No response, no nothing whenever I ask "hello is someone still there" - for 30 minutes (and counting).
Regulators ought to have a field day with extortionist companies that roadblock and steal customers' time for wanting to cancel a service.
This is the only channel that Spectrum allows you to cancel a service through; I have no alternative. How is this allowed and legal? Shame on this government for allowing businesses like this to extort the citizenry.

Spectrum added tv service and sent me a Xumo box I didn’t ask for. I’ve just had WiFi for almost 2 years. We stream everything so we didn’t need it. I called someone to take it back. Sent it back checked my bill they added a whole $105 on my account. I called and disputed the charges. They said they submitted a ticket to have them taken off. Here’s another month charges still there. Called again this morning they’re saying they can’t take them off because it’s past the 30 day guarantee mark. When I’ve submitted tickets 2 already that were supposed to be escalated and taken care of. I’m not paying for something I didn’t ask for and everyone is lying about the time line that I called about everything. Not to mention they charged me $248 to move my service from my old place to my new place.

got the email about "start enjoying a world of unlimited possibilities" come to find out my Internet line was hooked up to a box that had 6 connections > 5 of which were carotid. Storms in ***** blew out equipment. new line from the neighbors box area had to be ran. that termination station was partially off the cement block. I have not had service for 30 days and have been down twice, new line ran, new line buried, and at least 4 tech's have been in and out of my house. It starts with the installer - careless behavior in hooking me up to a non grounded carotid filled box. Did not see any care about doing a good job for the customer it was install, get activate and get the money. Do not plan on being with Spectrum long. DO NOT recommend this company for service.

Spectrum has continually increased our pricing for internet service while providing spotty coverage in our neighborhood. I have called numerous times to Spectrum about their pricing, spend hours on the phone with them to get the run around and a “we will add this credit to your account” that is supposed to last the length of the service, but ultimately falls off that month! Because of that, I cancelled our service for internet and TV in person at their location in ************ ***  I was 2 days into the new cycle, returned ALL of our equipment which means we do NOT have service, but yet they want to charge me $188 for the month since I cancelled beyond the time frame and they do not prorate! Everyone prorates! How does spectrum get away with stealing money from customers? This is a travesty and I plan to take this up the chain for restitution. If I could give less than a star I would!

Can I leave less than a 1 star? They stink. They aren't even in my area according to the website. They wouldn't stop calling me after I asked them too. They rudely hung up on me when i refused to give them all my background info for them to check my address again (they insisted the area might have changed in a day) and when I called back to talk to a manager, they refused to let me talk to one without giving name, address, phone number , and email. WTH do they need all that for so I can tell them their customer service sucks! RUDE company. Don't use them!
