      I signed up for a cell phone plan with Spectrum (CHARTER COMMUNICATIONS) and the
      service was pre-paid. I did not like the plan and service, the actual usage advertised is not as
      it is. I pre-paid for the first month of service and not even used the service for the entire paid
      month and decided to switch to another carrier, and now CHARTER COMMUNICATIONS /
      THE CBE GROUP INC-FORMER placed a negative debit on my credit score for $56 "Open
      balance" which I do not have any open balance with them. I am a current Cable customer
      with them and was never able to use the so called "Unlimited access to Spectrum Mobile
      out-of-home Wifi" in addition the "Use Spectrum Internet Wifi to save on your data" is
      completely not true and false advertisement. I request that the note on my credit score is
      removed as soon as possible.

      I had to find a new servuce for television as our local utility closed. The first couple weeks with Spectrum were not bad at all; people were friendly; television and internet were good. Soon, the television began to fail regularly, there were 18 internet "drops" in about 40 days. This ends your telephone service also as everything is via internet. Numerous service calls and three technicians arrived all of whom claimed they "knew what was wrong"; none did. The entire experience just became worse and worse. I had six cable boxes at 9.95 EACH which werre not needed. Returned all to local Spectru store. Finally, things were so bad, and I had made so many phone calls without any improvement that I decided to end my service. I knew about the termination rule that it had to be done BEFORE the new billing cycle. I called on the last day of my service to cancel and was told to bring the router and modem back "in a day or two". I did that and low and behold, they used the "Return" day which was a day or two into the NEW billing cycle. I had to pay $124.00 for service through July 28 for service which I would not have. I had followed all the rules, paid two months' bills on time and returned all devices carefully wrapped in newspapar to prevent any damage, this just seems like THEFT; really, it is. It was obviously a little game to get payment for no service. I would do without television and internet before I would do business with this company. It is even more sad as it could easily be a very good service (WHICH IT IS NOT). You have NO recourse for complaints because their bill comes in a thick envelop which is 16 pages of small print on both sides telling everything which they are not responsible for whidh seems like almost everything. Therefore, for 44 days of terrible and frustrating service, I paid a total of $508.99 in fees, charge, taxes and something called a "broadcast fee" Pass this by, and fast. Believe me, you will be sorry and lose money.

      Today on July 13,2022,I called Spectrum to pay my bill by phone(you can’t trust the post office) of $304.39. I was told they rejected my payment of $304.39 for insufficient funds on my debit payment on June 13. ****** never received the debit amount back. And if I had no funds it would have been denied outright, I had funds..I would never debit or write a check without money in the bank The amount taken out still shows on my ****** Credit Union checking account, but they show no debit return. The Spectrum number I called was a strange number but he identified as spectrum. The name on my ****** payment records it as Cable Bill . If Spectrum says they received the debt and returned to my bank then where is it. Where did my $304.39 go. Spectrum said the money was returned but it didn’t come back to my Vystar. Is there a middle man between ****** and Spectrum. Was Spectrum the last to handle it and return the payment that they claim was rejected for no funds . Where did Spectrum reject the debit to...where did the money from my account go. Has anyone had this problem. I had to charge$608,79 to pay Spectrum for the lost payment and the one due on July 17th. Isn’t Spectrum responsible for giving the debit of $304.39 back since they recorded it. Did ****** put it back in the wrong account. Where do I go for help?

      We canceled our service 1 day into a billing cycle since - it was Sunday and we called on Monday - they charged us for the entire month regardless! Horrible to charge a customer for a service they didn't even provide! I always think it says something about a company that doesn't try to act in good faith and that tells me all I need to know to ensure I advise everyone to try to find a better business/service if you have the options!

      Spectrum is the least customer centric company I have dealt with. Their marketing department sent a postcard with an "Action Requested" title, and instructions on how to upgrade a modem. The instructions contained a link to a web page that only returned errors: "spectrum.net/bettermodem". So I had to contact support to resolve the issue. After a 20 minute wait for a support person to respond, I was given two choices. The first one was to wait 3-5 days for Spectrum to mail one out, or the second choice, which was to just go down to the Spectrum store with my old modem and they would give me another. I chose the second. The support person also said that they would alert the local store that I would be doing so. Upon arriving at the Spectrum store, the associate saw my old modem and immediately said they had none in stock. She said that a new shipment would be coming in the following day, and that I should come back. I asked if I could at least reserve one, or call in before wasting another trip to the store. She replied no, and that they had no direct line to the store because then people would be calling them all day. The very second there is a viable alternative to Spectrum's internet service, I will be cancelling their service.

      Terrible customer service and the terms and conditions are terrible. Talked to the customer service 3 times and they finally discontinued my internet with them today. They don't prorate if you are on the next billing cycle. Terrible company. Don't ever get their internet or any of their services. AT&T is the better option.

      This Company cut my internet without giving me a chance or time(for only $35 wrong later Fee;.
      I am 72 years old and suffering from severe Heart Attack disease. My internet connected my heart peace maker to the hospital and 24,7 i am under watching through provider.
      CEO OF Charter, Spectrum you must be ashamed what your service, billing,Customer service and MORE THAN THEM YOUR SCALATION DEPARTMENT DID WITH ME LOYAL CUSTOMER IN THE USA ???? THE LAND OF JUSTICE, HUMAN RIGHTS CUSTOMERS RIGHTS.

      I canceled my cable bill at the end of May as told by one of their reps to do. Yet they charged me an entire month of June for usage that I did not have cable or the box. Spoke with 3 customer service reps, 2 supervisors, and 1 manager none of them helped instead they hung up on me and told me my argument is invalid. What they are doing cannot be legal. You should not be allowed to charge an entire month of service that is canceled. If there were negative stars I would rate them a negative.

      i have the same problems as everyone else---been trying to cancel tv service for weeks and they won't do it. it is absolute thievery.
