      I used Spectrum mobile for a year. It wasn’t horrible, it wasn’t great. When I had a life change, I needed to cancel. I paid the remaining $888 I owed plus the full amount for a month of service eventhough I only used a few days. My balance was zero. I’m writing to inform others of the accounting/billing practices that are unethical in my opinion and only show up when you leave. They will not remove my payment card on file for 60 days. I don’t like to have my cards on the internet anyway but you have to these days. But when I have paid nearly $1000 and my balance is zero it seems wrong to keep my card on file. I also could not get a statement that showed the line items of what I paid for until my billing period was over. I received an email saying isn’t off but no details. That also seems wrong to me. You should receive an itemized statement as soon as you pay. They would not budge about any of this. Also, and it’s my bad, but they do not prorate when you stop service. You pay a whole month no matter what. As is the norm for the cell/tv/internet industry, their sales people and marketers are amazing. The customer policies are a whole different vibe.

      SCUM of the earth. Spectrum is a complete scam. We were told that we were locked in at a rate of $49.99 for our internet a year ago. A few months later, our bill increased for internet to $85! We called and spoke to a very unhelpful representative and after arguing and getting transferred to a manager, they were able to lower our payment to $59 a month… now AGAIN, just a few months later, our bill is jumping up to over $90 a month- JUST for internet. We are sick of this scamming company and already have Brightspeed coming next week to install their equipment so we can finally get rid of Spectrum. If you have any other option besides spectrum please go with the other option.

      Spectrum cable is so bad w such bad remote… it’s either their remote $ service or the co is deliberately intentionally jamming cable where u can’t use the useless remote to change channel, its stuck ‘ u have to troubleshoot… they will try to blame ur tv & anything else besides their bad product & bad service. Never had issues like this before w cox but w spectrum. Same kind of things happened w suddenlink in Greenville NC so either they r intentionally jamming the cable or they have very bad product.

      So My wife canceled our service today and spent an hour on the phone with retention and they said they were going to bill us although we paid a bill prior everybody else will turn around and for write you back the rest of the bill we paid our bills and the 20th of the 21st we cancel today and they said they weren't going to give us a prorated amount. Not only that the retention sucks customer service sucks the pricing sucks everything about spectrum run run do not do business with them there's a reason why T-Mobile fudiun and others are taking them out. Cuz just like normal people They forgot about their customers and the people who pay for their crappy service now we don't get a credit when power is out we don't get a credit during big storms but they'll take our money basically I was told that I still have to pay for a whole month when I'm 2 weeks into the billing cycle even though I've already paid the bill that they refuse to refund me. The guy's name was Ryan and he was an absolute idiot. I used to do spectrum retention he's trying to give us a better deal and promise oh you've been a little customer for 4 months as we decorates up let's see what we can do I'll promise you that I can cut you right now for a month or two and then Jack it back up spectrum's terrible they're horrible everything about their customer service and their equipment and their people absolutely suck. I'm hoping more and more internet providers come to ***** and kick them out of here because spectrum doesn't belong here.
      In the meantime a man complaints on the phone and the internet to the BBB and if money gets taken I will absolutely sue them

      Worst provider to have cell phone service with, and also they lie to you about services and prices in order to avoid customers leave their company. At the end they don't care if you know they lied because you will be owing them money and have to be stuck with them. I really don’t recommend Spectrum to anyone. There billing system is a joke, and everyone that answers lie and have no knowledge whatsoever about their products or how the company works and their services. I didn’t have an option to give them zero star, they don’t even deserve one star.

      Absolutely the worst company, worst service, and worst customer service experience I’ve ever had. I don’t leave reviews, but I’d leave negative stars if I could. Tried for over a year to get internet to work with no help, no success and continued to have bill increases.

      SPECTRUM has been sending emails that are not working in order to send back an item that I do not want, to *****.. ***** cannot scan nor print the label to SPECTRUM‘s return center. They expect me to pay $50 to go to the ******* ******* ******** which is FAR and are not willing to work with me as an elderly Senior with a severe disability.to resolve the problem! DISCRIMINATION towards disabled Seniors!!

      I haven't even started my service with this garbage company and I am sick of them. Their customer service is a nightmare, they don't know how to do 1 thing. I spent 1.5 hrs just trying to SET UP the service. I spent over 30mins the first call all for the lady to put everything under the wrong apt number. So now another 45 minutes to fix that.
      Then they're calling me the next day to confirm my appointment (with the wrong date and time) and STILL MESSING UP my address after I thought everything was straight. How hard is this??? I wish so badly that there was another provider in my area. This is ridiculous. The tech is supposed to show up today, who knows if he will. And if he does, I get to pay a $65 installation fee for someone to plug a wire into my wall. So pathetic.

      Their ads $ 30.00 home internet will be first monthly payment $ 96.25 !!!!
      They trying to force me buying their equipment by sending an emails mentioning your order so & so without any permission or agreement with me
