I paid $180 for a hair dryer that stopped working after 6 months. I called and was sent a replacement dryer that stopped working after 1 or 2 months. I called customer service and told them I do not want another dryer I want a refund. They said they couldn’t without a receipt. I told them I wanted a replacement dryer worth the same amount as the original $180. I was told I couldn’t have that because the replacement they sent was only worth $160. I said that is not right I paid $180 and that is the value I should get. The representative and supervisor refused to help me and told me to try to email babylisspro and got nasty with me. I want my money back or a replacement worth what I paid. Their products are not worth the money. Please try to help me.Business Response

irm receipt of pictures. Your rep confirmed receipt of the email, and was then told for a third time a replacement would be shipped and should receive in 7-10 days. Still having not received it , on 3/8 I placed another followup phonecall and I was notified that this product "was and had been" on back order and no idea when replacements would be in to ship out to me. I feel like this company has no intention on replacing the unit. This was the first of any type backorder notification. These units are being sold in most all store fronts so to say the unit is on backorder I feel is an excuse to not honor their word. My reference number given by cuisinart of all conversations is *********. ****** was original serial number. I spent $ 149.95 plus tax on this coffee maker. I would like a refund in full to purchase another maker or would like a new replacement of this unit. I have done everything asked on my end to solve this.

I purchased a ****** ********* ***** *** **** **** 12-cup and Single Serve Coffee M /Stainless Steel coffee maker from *** on Feb 3, 2022. I completed the registration online for this item that carry a 3 year warranty. We started having problems with the single serve coffee side of the coffee maker so I made a call to the support number located on their website. Agent stated that they would send a new capsule for the maker that is what he thought the issue was. I told him I think it is something more but he told me if that did not work they would replace the unit. We received the capsule about 10 day later and it is still doing the same thing. (water goes everywhere, ground in coffee cup after brewing, and cup is still pierced at a much large size than before the issues started. I called back to let them know this issue was not resolved and I was told in order to have it replaced I would have to cut the cord on the product and send them a picture before they would even process the replacement. I have no problem sending the unit back, cord back or photo after the replacement is received but to wait another ten days without the use of the side that works is a hassle free warranty to me. (Wording on their manual). My husband make 8 cups of coffee every morning and now also uses the pot (since Kcups side is broken) when he gets home in the evening. Why should I have to go buy another maker to wait for a replacement that is under warranty. Also this was not a cheap maker it was 150.00 when I purchased it.Business Response

I bought a coffee center off of ****** in July 2022. It is now April 2023 and my coffee pot sounds like it is going to blow up when I brew a single serve cup. I called the Manufacturer, Cuisinart, and they told me to contact ****** where I bought the product. ****** then told me to contact Cuisinart. I did that for a second time and they said that they only deal with returns that are bought directly from them. They told me to call ****** again. I did that, only to get the run around from a supervisor. This product has a 3 year warranty and I can’t get either company to honor that. ****** did try to give me a partial refund and a partial credit. I would like a full refund so that I can purchase a new coffee center.Business Response

solved many many phone calls still nothing. I became upset and said in the harsh tone I needed this addressed the young man I spoke to told me to cut the cords to the machines to send in the picture, and that the machines will be replaced well one machine was sent and it was a complete different model a very low and model but I never received anything for the second machine. I contacted them over and over and over again regarding the second machine and why did they send me such a low end machine to replace the original machine , they informed me that the one that I had was wrong replaced. It was a very poor machine that they replaced it with very poor, looking nothing like a coffee maker I would purchase I asked them what about the second machine are you going to replace that one? it’s been over one month and I have yet to hear anything. June 2022 - Purchased 5 Cuisinart ***** hand mixers from Cuisinart via ****** for in-school home kitchens - refurbished
- Purchased to get into 2022 budget, ending June 30, 2022. School was out for the
summer.
Fall 2022 - Mixers were not put into operation until at least November 2022, as the progression of the of the curriculum took place. Mixers are used perhaps every few weeks. They worked fine for the first few uses. Then began to act up. The motor would run, but the beaters would not turn. By the beginning of 2023, 4 out of the 5 mixers were not working. It's a good thing I had held an old Hamilton Beach mixer that was still working. Students now have to share, which doesn't work well with 42 minute lab periods.
March 29, 2023 I finally connected with Cuisinart, Inc. about the issue and received resistance in getting help all the way up the line as far as they would let me go. Their issue is that it is a home use only mixer an says so on the last line of the last page of the product book that come with the mixer. Though we are a school, these mixers are used once every 2-3 weeks by a small number of students, in a home-like kitchen, making a dozen chocolate cookies and the like. We are not a commercial culinary program. It's apparent that Cuisinart does not want to promote themselves as customer concerned or oriented. They appear to not want to stand by their product. I can understand if one mixer were to go bad, but 4? And I suspect the 5th one will soon. We are lucky to still have a cooking program for students teaching them needed life skills. Not many of us exist anymore. I would think that Cuisinart would support that, as they have now lost a number of future customers - something I don't think any company can afford to do. I myself was looking to replace my Cuisinart 20 plus year old food processor with another Cuisinart, but will now spend my money with ******* ***. And I did enjoy my Cuisinart - sad.Business Response

In December 2022, while toasting a slice of bread, the toaster oven caught fire. We immediately put it out and cleaned out the oven. A week or so later, it happened again. So, I called Cuisinart at the end of December and told a customer service representative all the details about what happened and was told that I would be contacted within 3 to 5 business days. I never heard back. I called again in February and was told that a supervisor would call me, but I never heard back. I called a third time at the end of February and was told that I would be contacted within 10 business days, but once again I did not hear back. Jamie is the first rep I spoke with on or about the evening of December 8th or 9th. The call was transferred & follow up email came from Amanda. She claimed to be a supervisor, but her email didn't indicate that. She said rust isn't a defect. Furthermore, after reviewing pictures, she went on to say the back is rusting because it's not being dried off. Insinuating that I'm stupid & would drench an electrical product in water & let it just sit. In the pictures sent, there isn't one picture of the back of the unit with rust. Can't comprehend a product made to cook food can rust. Food is not supposed to go into a cooker already cooked crispy & dry. I have so many other products of varying prices, age & not one of them RUST. NOT ONE. A product defect is any characteristic of a product which hinders its usability for the purpose for which it was designed and manufactured. I've asked for this to be escalated to the corporate office for further review, & never got a response. What would happen if a person has health issue of any kind affected by rust or it's elements? This product should be recalled. From the very start I've also been having issues with the cooking rate of the oven burning my food. Everything sticks & I've always had to line the pan with aluminum or parchment. Learned how to cook things lower & watch it like a TV. This unit is unusable in it's current state. Once a loyal Cuisinart brand supporter, now done spending my money with this company after issues with this and other recent products. The overall quality, craftmanship & technology has diminished not evolved.Business Response

I purchased a Cuisinart Coffee Center Model number ** ******* on Nov 23 2022. I started using it in early January. Since I started using it, it’s been leaking from the bottom when the individual (k-cup) feature is used. The coffee pot side works fine. Cuisinart Customer Service offered to replace it in 10 business days if I cut the power cord and then email them a photo. I don’t have a backup coffee maker so I would have to go 2 weeks without a coffee maker unless I buy a replacement first. It seems like there should be another way to handle this but when I expressed my concerns with customer service I received a reply stating I needed to send the cord cut photo before I could get a replacement.Business Response

Fix the new coffeemaker so it will program to a time of my choosing ie not mid night. Also have the coffeemaker make a full pot of coffee. Also this company has a phone number for complaints but won’t answer during their stated business hours.Business Response
