false advertising via an editorial recommendation article.
need them to allow me to return this product to them bc it doesn't have a metal paddle like it advertised via this article endorsed by an editor posing as an expert.

Cuisinart's Owner will not accept a warrenty problem for a registered Cuisinart food processor FP-11. This 'new' processor motor overheats after course grinding of one large, raw, Russet potato cut into small strips to fit into the machine. The machine stays off for fifteen or more minutes, and then runs for only a few seconds. Cuisinart's telephone assistance says the machine is protected by a safety feature guarding against motor overheating, and the problem can only be my improper use! I've used the machine twice, trying slower and slower pusing of the potato strips into the processor! I suppose I should have begun processing the potatoes the day before? A friend's food processor works just fine, as a normal human would expect of it.
AND Cuisinart's online form would not 'send', claiming my serial number, ***** was wrong! Not to mention a requested date code, not provided in their 'product registration summary' and difficult to identify! As added confusion, the date code, which I found listed as '*** **** *' also used the same **** number! This product has been a complete waste of money and my time!

Purchased a Cuisinart Power Advantage® 7 Speed Hand Mixer. Plugged it in, began mixing cookie dough, the unit has a delay before turning on then WHIRS faster than the setting, slows down, speeds up, slows down, speeds up (at the lowest setting). It has a loud, inconsistent motor. Tried to return the item to Cuisinart (which is owned by Conair, and I was charged through Conair) and called three times to initiate a return because there is no return process online. The first was outside their hours (after 8pm est) so the next day I called within their hours but the person would not help me because I was not standing right next to the hand-mixer to pull off the model number. Called a third time at 5:30pm est and again was asked for a model number and date code. They would not refund my money and would not allow me to return it because I used it once (ummm how are we to know it's not working until we plug it in and use it?). No refund option was provided to me, I indicated to the company I would contact my credit card company to refute the charge. Offered to send me a replacement instead, but this is a very bad experience and I do not want this hand-mixer with an inconsistent and loud motor. I simply request my money be replaced and I will gladly return the item to them.

I purchased a portable hot roller unit from Conair. I hoped to be able to use it immediately. But the clips, used to hold the rollers in the hair, were missing. I contacted Conair and was informed that they don’t have clips in the warehouse. They directed me to commit what I consider fraud. Their instruction was to cut the electrical cord to the unit, take a picture of the severed cord next to the unit, and send it to customer service. A new unit would be mailed to me. I found the clips on the internet priced at less than $5. A new unit is between $15 and $20 plus postage!

Customer service for cuisinart has hours 8a. Est. 10 p.m. ,however showing up for work, answering the phone during business hours must not be part of their job description. Bought my first coffee pot from cuisinart and it malfunctioned. Called customer service they told me a new one would be sent as soon as I emailed picture of cord cut off at unit together with model number. Even got a confirmation of receipt of the email I sent complying with their instructions. But no replacement coffee pot ever arrived, now no one answers the phone.

I purchased a ********* coffee maker ***** series. Followed the directions and did not work googled a solution to the 1 cup and that fixed it used the one cup the next day and had water all over the place. It is leaking from the bottom of the coffee maker. Called to get a replacement. Waiting for a *** shipping label they said would be emailed to me we never received. Called again to find out that the email was incorrect. They corrected the email and said it would be 24-48 hours. Called today and now being told it take 3-5 business days to get a shipping label to return a broken coffee pot and once they receive my coffee pot they will ship me a new one. Cannot speak to a supervisor because they don't have the number to call to speak to one. This is absolutely ridiculous that I have to wait this long for a coffee pot. I have always purchased ********* coffee makers I will never buy another one after this.

I purchased a Conair fabric shaver from T***** in November. By January, it was clogged constantly, with very little use. It stopped working entirely by March. I maybe only got an hour or two of use out of it. I changed the batteries multiple times and no go. I opened it up, cleaned out the razor area, still no go. I just got around to attempting to start the return in June. I’ve been reaching out to Conair for weeks now. I sent an email to the feedback email address on July 6th (although I understand this was a Saturday). I haven’t heard anything back. I would be fine with this being 4 business days, but I have sent 3 other requests for refunds since early June. It’s now mid-July. I haven’t heard anything back. I don’t plan to buy any more Conair products if they only last 3 months and I can’t even get in contact with anyone at the company in a month.

Bought ********* Air Fryer Toaster. It stopped turning on. Searched the Internet for cause and parts to fix the problem. Found instead that this is a known issue. Called ********* - they do not offer parts. All they offered was a 20% discount on a new purchase. However, the catch is you'd have to make the purchase directly via their website. This makes the discount useless, as the price after discount is still much higher than what ****** sells. I asked to file a complaint with *********, as there was no recall for a known malfunction issue, and the "compensation" offered was no compensation at all. Rep over the phone immediately said my complaint was noted and would be forwarded internally to the appropriate department. There wasn't a pause in our conversation or any other signs (e.g., keyboard typing) that my complaint was actually created. I asked for a confirmation via email. They said they're not allowed to do that. One star for their customer service and policy. The second star is for the Air Fryer Toaster - it was good when it worked.

Looks like I unfortunately have many of the same complaints as those below.
PURCHASED: Cuisinart Coffee Maker, Perfecttemp 14-Cup Glass Carafe, Programmable Fully Automatic for Brew Strength Control & 1-4 Cup Setting, Black, Stainless Steel, DCC-*********
      ORDERED- 2/16/24
      REPLACED- 2/23/24
REQ. 2ND REPLACEMENT- spoke w/****** Cust. Service- 4/7/24 Said nothing they can do about the malfunction of the clock (again) & to reach out to Cusinart directly
CUISINART/CONAIR -6/18/24 to current 7/1 /24- cust. service says about 7-10 business days for replacement but must cut the cord and dispose BEFORE a replacement. 2 weeks without making coffee is the suggestion? The response from C.Serv. was that's the "warranty" - I said most places send & upon receiving customer cuts cord/sends to company & if that doesn't happen it's charged in full. I was told that when "someone needs a replacement, it means the unit isn't working". But the CLOCK isn't working affecting the progammability (NOT making coffee) of the product & at $100 this should absolutely work. This was the main reason I purchased this unit. This is the absolute WORST company and service. The fact they continue to sell this product with obviously (read below for more of the same complaints) the continued KNOWN issues is wrong. I am beyond disappointed with this company & product. I will continue to dissuade friends/ family from purchasing. This company should do better.
