nit was NOT COMPARABLE to what I had, I did not want the ****** as a replacement. Without my authorization, company sent ****** (Oct 6, 2024). [Side note: when unpacked, noticed unit had small dent on the top.] Call to company Oct 24, 2024 to complain: new unit not comparable to one I returned, and I already indicated I did not want it as replacement. If they would not send me a replacement comparable to one I had, I wanted my purchase price refunded. Company said no refund as I bought unit through ******, and they did not know IF they would make any more of defective ******** units (which they only made for ******). Said possibly their *** ** model would be comparable in size to what i had, but they would not send as a replacement. for the payment of 120.33 for this item, scanned and sent that in. Then silence. I emailed and sent it again, again, no response. Now its been 3 weeks and I called and told "yeah I know they said statement but they want more of a store receipt which is why you didn't hear anything..." on top of that I'm told that even though I'm calling and trying, if I don't get more documentation (which i of course would not have as I provided it already) it will pass the date and won't be honored. That was the last straw so now I'm going to the BBB as something needs to be done.
Original purchase was in a November of 2021 and email from company states bank statement, cred card statement, store receipt all will do but it looks like we are wasting our time and the co is stalling (Cuisinart is not looking good here) to avoid honoring their warranty even though they know that this thing has been well broke well before this three-year mark and it shouldn't be. In response, the company asked for my shipping information, which I promptly provided on September 6, 2024. However, after sending my details, the company went silent. Despite my repeated efforts to obtain updates, including follow-up emails on September 30 and October 16, I have not received a tracking number, shipping confirmation, or any communication regarding the replacement.

I am rejecting this response because:This response is truly disappointing and, frankly, absurd. I purchased this product on ******, and it was delivered to me in ****** without any issues, as the attached invoice confirms. The product was clearly available for international purchase and shipment, and I trusted Cuisinart’s brand and service to stand behind this product, regardless of location.
Additionally, I have attached copies of all our previous correspondence. In these exchanges, your team explicitly agreed to send a replacement for the defective cookware set after I provided all the necessary shipping details. There was no indication that international shipping would be an obstacle at any stage of our conversation until now.
Therefore, I expect Cuisinart to honor this agreement and ship the replacement to the address I originally provided in our correspondence, rather than the address associated with the BBB platform. Please confirm that you will proceed with the replacement shipment as promised and provide me with a tracking number at your earliest convenience.

We purchased a brand new boxed ********* from a charity liquidation. We thought since we were purchasing a brand new unit there would be no issues. Day 1 the pot spewed coffee everywhere as it was brewing. We corrected this the following day by turning down the brew strength. Not ideal but doable. We attempted to use the auto program feature- we woke up to the unit flashing an empty warning and beeping incessantly even though everything was set up correctly to brew the coffee. That morning it let us start the pot manually. A day or two later we lost the ability to even manually run a pot of coffee. The unit blinks “empty” and beeps every time we press brew. I looked online extensively for troubleshooting before finally calling the company. I was not looking for any sort of a hand out, I just need to know how to fix this to make a coffee pot that was used (brand new from the box) for less than one week work. The company was not able to offer any sort of advice on how to fix this issue. Apparently they do not provide ANY sort of troubleshooting services or repairs they just ship you a new unit- which we cannot do because this brand new coffee pot is out of warranty. I just want to know how to make this coffee pot work as it was intended. If this was a year or so into owning the product I’d chalk it up as a loss, but only being able to use a brand new coffee pot for six days and then the company refusing to stand behind it’s product and not be able to, at the very least, tell me how to fix it is ridiculous.Business Response

Sorry, I wasn't able to contact you. The company (Conair) did respond promptly with an email and phone call. They replaced the unit with an almost identical one. I am satisfied with their response. Notably, they did not explain why it took three messages to them, followed by a complaint to BBB, to get them to take any action, nor did they offer any apology.
