      I am so beyond upset right now. Im on the 319 train from ******* to **************. We boarded the train over 3 hours late. I would have rented a car, but we kept getting misleading updates that we would be boarding in 30 minutes. Once we did get on the train and leave the platform, we stopped outside of the station and were notified that the train hasnt passed its inspection yet and we need to refuel. Now I dont even have the option of renting a car because Im trapped on this train. If there was a way for me to get off I would. How is this ok with Amtrak? The announcer said you have been putting people on buses all week. I dont think thats ok, but its better than delaying people 5 hours without being honest about it. I have been riding Amtrak for years, but after this trip, I will be spending the $400 to rent a car instead of having to deal with this.

      We accidentally booked our return trip on the wrong day and Amtrak was not willing to change our ticket. They expected us to forfeit $3,600 and rebook a new reservation. Will never use Amtrak again.

      We took the Southwest Chief from *********** to *********** on Nov 7. There were only 8 passengers in sleeper cars. The new restaurant manager, Mr. ********* was very rude and never smiled. Our train was due to arrive in *********** at 11am. But due to several delays, we did not arrive until 4pm. Mr. ******** did not allow the 8 of us in sleeper cars to be served lunch. The rest of the train staff were wonderful, but Mr. ******** has terrible customer service skills and ruined the whole Amtrak experience for us.

      Why is it Everytime I use Amtrak or Greyhound the people who work on the train are always rude ASF! No matter what day or where I'm going they have no idea how to treat people. Plus I hate all this digital c*** no days online fr everything there stupid app is jumpy and had to call the number ****** gives me. And what do you know the third party is someone from another country who i can't understand.

      I was not able to cancel one of the tickets in a round trip and was forced to buy the one tick I needed back at a higher price than the round trip was previously. Wouldn't have had to do that if I could have gotten the refund on the one ticket the first time.

      Amtrak employees are very rude! They do not assist travels with a positive attitude! they give false information! they dont try to help costumers!! I am very disappointed because I travel with Amtrak often and Ive never had an issue but recently I have been having a lot of issues with the employees they are extremely rude to passengers and the last issue I had was that I was told it was ok to get on the train from west palm even though my ticket was from *****. I literally called and an employee told me yes you will be ok. I dont have her name because it was a unique name but then the next day when I was going to get on the train it was delayed a few minutes due to poor weather so when I got to the train station I asked the people working there if the train that was there was going to my location because since it was delayed I was confused but they said yes and said I can go on but when I turned around for one second to grab my bag and give a kiss to my friend. the conductor was like nah ah and just closed the door on my face! This left me stranded!! I emailed Amtrak about the situation they never responded to my email then I tried calling them and the lady trying to help me was just not helping me at all and just kept finding reasons to blame me. I got frustrated and told her to forget making a claim because she was just putting an excuse to why that would happen to me instead of even apologizing like man Im sorry this happened to you I will go ahead and write this up and have my manager take a look. She showed no empathy. I just wanted to let people know go on the Amtrak train at your own risk because these people seem like they dont care or they dont want to be there.

      The train was full. We were in the Cafe cart and was asked to leave so others could come in and enjoy. I would not have a problem with this however 5 of the 12 available tables were taken up with Amtrak employees. Very poor customer service.

      I was having a luggage on the floor and the Amtrak was empty. Everyone is having a luggage on the floor right next to where they sit. But the lady works on Amtrak only told me to put mine on the back. Why only me? I am very upset and angry about this trip. I have been using Amtrak for multiple times and this is the worst trip I ever had

      Whoever is in charge of cancelling trains is an idiot. It is October 7th 2024, my train to ** has been cancelled due to currently a tropical storm off the coast of ****** hundreds of miles away. They have NO right to cancel my very important trip! Obviously Amtrak upper management don't care about about their customers who need to be somewhere at certain time. Really, the storm is hundreds of miles away and I want to speak to the person who made this decision
