This company had 3rd party credit collecton companies charge my credit card without telling me that this was going to happen. This company gave out my banking information without permission. When I confronted them about it, they canceled my contract and refused to refund me any money. I asked for a refund and they said no.
I asked them to show me where in the contract does it states that a 3rd party vendor is allowed to have my banking info, he couldn't provide it.Business Response

I have already provided them with the requested document. They provided no services with the $378 taken to consolidate a debt. Said debt has not been consolidated, therefore, this was a fraudulent action from this company. I would like a refund of $378 at the least. Sincerely,
Regards,

I called Credit Sage looking to have collections accounts on my credit report disputed along with removing hard inquiries. I have been since charged $99 a month for letters to be sent out multiple times and $264 to remove inquiries. All while no updates were provided and questions are going unanswered. They are only out for money and I haven't received any confirmation from companies that the letters have been received.Business Response

This company promised to fix my credit in 30 to 90 days of service. They promised that I would see a score of 100 points or more within those 90 days. I paid them over $500 and was with them for a little under 90 days and not one credit point increase on my credit was from that company. There are several hundreds of people with reviews of the same issue and I would like my money back. If you pay someone with the promise of results within a time frame then that needs to happen. I’m sure all their calls are recorded and need to be looked into. They should not promise a person then do nothing but charge you every month. It’s time the better business bureau does something to investigate this company. They also have a false contract which states you can cancel anytime via phone or email but then in small print at the end of the contract they state you must cancel within 3 days which is misleading.Business Response

Consumer contracted our business to draft and send disputes regarding incorrect information about a debt collection account. We provided service as agreed. As consumer was made aware on the call, in the signup flow, our website, and the contract, we cannot and will not make promises or guarantees as to outcomes as we have no control over the result of the disputes we send. Consumer's account with us has been cancelled and they will no longer be billed.Customer Answer

**In order for the bureau to continue to assist you, you MUST provide your view on the matter or your complaint will be closed as answered. After speaking with (3) major credit bureau’s, I was informed that “ no disputes “ regarding Paramount Recovery nor my Bankruptcy had been filed. Both of which were our “ main “ concern as credit sage put it. They did in fact promise results where both cases would be removed from my credit. Maybe it was an improperly trained employee that made these claims to have my credit fixed, either way this company had had many BBB claims filed on them for the same reasons.

On October 10 this company charged me $378 for a debt cancellation with the department of treasury that has NOT been cancelled and for a debt with coned for an electric bill to a place that I never was able to move into. I paid the coned bill directly.
The department of treasury continues to collect the debt that credit sage said they had consolidated to $350 to pay immediately (October 10, 2024). Now , I continue to pay the debt and now pay $100 to people that are just scamming other people.Business Response

I am providing the contract given to me by this company I never received a requested receipt for the $378 (I also would like to know what really was done with such a large amount of money), this money, I was told, was to consolidate debt to department of treasury which as shown in previous documents sent, nothing changed in terms of this debt.
I would like to receive a full refund of the $378 and $99 month of November payment (as shown on bank statement previously presented) for absolutely nothing done.
sincerely,

I found a collections debt on my credit report and googled the collection agency and got redirected not realizing it to Credit Sage. When the rep answered I told her I noticed a collections debt on my credit and I wanted to pay it off and see if we could get it removed. I was told the issue could be resolved that day for $378 (it was a $500 collections amount and normally they have deals to settle it). She sent over the log in and ran my card and had me sign a bunch of documents over the phone telling me I was just authorizing the payment to remove it from my credit. Upon completion I went through the receipt and saw I was paying $378 for it to be disputed. I didn’t want it disputed I wanted it settled. I called them back and spoke to an account manager and asked for a refund an hour later and was told I wouldn’t be getting one because I paid for the service. I was mislead on the call and it was under false pretenses that I paid this. I tried to dispute the charge and it wouldn’t be disputed. I found on Reddit that they’ve scammed multiple people the same way. I just want my refund. I settled the debt and it’s being removed myself.Business Response

Here is a copy of the attached contract that I was rushed into signing in a box for. At the beginning of the call I expressed multiple times a desire to pay for a settlement of the debt NOT to dispute it. When I spoke to the account manager he said he wouldn’t provide a refund as I signed the contract. The full contract I received after the representative rushed through taking literally all of my savings. All I wanted was to pay my debt and remove it from my credit. The representative was aware of this from the beginning. I assume they had some ridiculous quota of people to take money from to meet. The entirety of the first interaction was built on misrepresentation and the “contract” signed is not the agreement that I was under the impression I was entering.

Credit sage took $328.00 without completing any work. Under the Credit Repair Organization Act they are required to complete their promised services before charging any Fees, meaning upfront payments are not allowed. I called October 10, 2024 to find some credit repair help and they promised that they could easily delete all the discrepancies on my credit report, I trusted them and how confident they were about the process so I decided to give them a chance. After getting off the phone I did some research on the company and learned they use unethical practices. I saw on the contract that I may cancel this contract without any penalty or obligation within 3 days of signing. On October 11, 2024 I sent an email stating I would like to cancel my contract and would like the 328.00 refunded. I have yet to receive refund and they still try to take out 24.95 with a company they work with, which is harassment. My credit report has not change since joining them and still remains the same now. No disputes have been made on my behalf for I have check with all 3 credit bureaus.Business Response
