I searched Google to change mailing address with USPS. I clicked on link for what was actually rapid address change which is created to mimic usps. It also appears above usps when searching change mailing address. I filled out the form for mailing change, submitted payment information. Once payment information was recieved I was given an invoice for $68.00. This cost was only shown once payment was received. The usps provides the same service for $1.50. I also have no recieved the services since I provided payment. The website is a scam to make customers believe it is a usps site, and also doesn't charge a comparable price, or disclose its price.Initial Complaint

On August 4, 2023 I sat down to change my address due to an upcoming move. The site represents itself as a government site, the USPS and does not disclose a charge will be applied. I tried to contact the business and was unable to get in touch with them through email or telephone. The business misrepresented itself and I'd just like my money back.Initial Complaint

Rapid Address Change charges 50x the USPS rate for mail forwarding and does nothing. They pay for SEO that makes them the first option for address change but do nothing. They claimed they issued me a refund but I’m having to work with my bank on a charge back. They are not helpful what so ever and probably sold my information because I’m getting more calls than before being added to the “do not call registry”Initial Complaint

On 31 July 2023, I went online to change my address with the USPS, but wound up on the Rapidaddress site. Thinking this was a government site I gave them my VISA card number and the code on the back. They said they would provide an easy change of address. I don't know if they do or not because when I got through, I submitted the information to the proper USPS. The Rapidaddress site is a deceptive site that defrauds people into thinking they are a government site when they are not. I have tried calling their number, but get the same message about leaving name, phone number, Email address, which would just lead to more junk mail in my inbox. The number they gave was: RAPIDADDRESS2678630204 267-8630204 USInitial Complaint

I originally tried to change my address and it didn't tell me the amount that they were going to charge me. They charged me $68.00. I tried calling, emailing and live chat and they say it is a scam. I called my bank and they said they can't do anything about it. I would like a refund.Initial Complaint

I attempted to change my address on what I was led to be believed the legit USPS account. I updated my information and was charged $68. No where does the website state how much you will be charged and it is a scam website instead of the USPS website. It should only be $1 on the USPS website.Initial Complaint

On July, 26, 2023, I went on the internet to change my address with USPS. I typed in USPS transfer mail and I got sent to this site to change my address. There was never once any mention of a fee for the service, they asked me to enter my credit card information to verify my identity. Then after I proceeded with the mail change they then provided me an invoice which said I was charged 68.99 for the address change. I tried to call the customer service number but it said no agents were available. I want a refund and this company is a scam, I am filing a dispute with my bank.Initial Complaint

Went to change my address online and used a company that said they’d not only change my address but also inform other companies, etc my address would be changed. They charged me $49 for this service which was never completed because my mail is still going to my old address and it’s been more than a month. The company has been unresponsive when I’ve tried to reach them. The company seems to have posed as an enhanced USPS service when in reality it’s just a scam.
