On Tuesday, May 30, 2023 I went online to submit a change of address form with USPS. I went on what appeared to be an legitimate site, which turned out to be fraudulent and changed my credit card $39.95 as apposed to $1.10 which it is supposed to cost to submit a change of address. The site never specified the amount being changed, instead it claimed to need my credit card information to verify my identity. Which I had remembered needing to do the last time I changed my address, so I didn't think anything of it. Come to find out that my card was charged $39.95 for a service that doesn't exist, since they have no affiliation with USPS. Fraudulent websites such as the should not be allowed to be in operation. After looking into this, there have been multiple complaints about this "business" that doesn't actually perform any services other than taking people's money. They should not be able to continue to operate. I will be disputing the charge with my banking institution.

I am changing addresses, and googled for the USPS official form. However, I did not notice that the sponsored ad was for RapidAddresschange.org which poses as USPS Address Change. USPS charges a $1 verification fee, so I was not surprised when on the last page it request card information for verification. However, the page did not disclose a $49 fee until after the page was submitted. I feel like I was taken advantage of and misled by this company. Additionally, the fee was not disclosed prior to the charge.

Hello, I was fraudulently charged $49 on the Rapid Address Change website today, Sunday, 5/28/23. Fees were not disclosed when entering card information and I would like the charge to be refunded / cancelled. This is a scam and other BBB reviews can confirm as well.

May 24, 2023. I thought I was updating a change of address in the USPS service. The business uses de same colors and format as the government agency. They ask for your financial information. I thought the mail service was using a new method for verifying identity since there is so much fraud going on. The site never explained there was going to be a charge of $49.00 I have zero confidence in this business that is conning people.

On 03/31/2023, I found usmoveservices.com under a Bing search for ups mailing address updating. There was no associated price on any screen prior to entering card information, with promise of a receipt on the next page. No receipt, but an immediate call from my credit union's fraud prevention. Ultimately, the transaction was pending for $179.95 but has been declined, my cards now cancelled. The first attempts to run my card were declined from Delaware and Rhode Island. There is a disclaimer on the bottom of the screen on the page after affirming your card was charged, stating it is an all inclusive address changing service that charges unlimited address charges for an individual and associated businesses; this is far beyond the single request of updating my mailing address from one address to another once. I am in no way going to agree to pay $179.95 for any such service, and refuse any further service from this company aside from the refunding or cancellation of the charges.

I tried to go on the USPS website to change my address. This address had nearly the same information on google, and was created to look like the USPS change of address. I put my card info in, as I would have with the USPS and THEN it took me to another page telling me I was charged nearly $50.00. They say they are available 24/7, but I cannot actually get a person to answer my calls or various attempts to get ahold of them through their chat. I want my money back, and will be filing a dispute with my card company as well.

I attempted to do an online address change with the USPS. This website came up and lead me to believe I was on the correct page, I didn’t realize until after it processed $49.95. I knew the change only cost $1.10. And I have found they did nothing towards changing the address. I have attempted to contact several times and it lead nowhere. THIS IS A SCAM SITE. How can I get my money back?

I googled what I thought was the United States Postal Service address change , it was Rapid address change, not USPS. I was charged $49.00 for an address change from 2** ****** ******* ** ******ille SC 29609 to *** *********** *** ******* ** *****. I would like a refund and can not reach the merchant. The website is designed to mimic the USPS website, that to me is false advertisement, as well as a scam. The website should be forced to close and redesign its web page so that others may not be confused about what service they are using.
