    On August 1, 2022 I purchased two tickets to the South Alabama Jaguars game against Central Michigan University for September 10, 2022. An email was sent to me stating that I would not receive the tickets until the day before the game on September 9, 2022. The email instructed me to create an account once I received that email. I was unable to create an account because I never received an email the day before stating that the tickets were ready. I called their 800 number and the representative tried several times to send a new email with the link to create the account to access the tickets. That was unsuccessful. Every time you clicked the link it sent you to their main website where you could purchase tickets to future events. She then said that regardless of whether tickets are received the charge stands. We checked again in the morning hoping that we could somehow create an account through the email that she had sent the night before. We were unsuccessful. We had to purchase tickets at the game.

It should be noted that Tickets-Center is an online resale marketplace, which means we do not own or generate tickets—instead, we merely facilitate transactions between ticket buyers and ticket sellers. The top of every event and ticket listing page clearly states, “Independent resale tickets".

    The ticket delivery method selected by our customer was Electronic Transfer, which means our customer's tickets were transferred online and needed to be displayed on a smartphone device in order to gain entry. When Electronic Transfer tickets that are purchased on a primary market website are resold on the secondary market, the seller will transfer the tickets from their account to the new buyer through the website they were originally purchased on. Once transferred, tickets will no longer be in the seller's account. In this case the customer's ticket transfer was initially delivered on 9/7/2022. It should be noted that valid documentation was obtained that confirmed the correct tickets were transferred to the email address provided by the customer at the time of checkout. As such, the ticket delivery was considered fulfilled in accordance with both our buyer guarantee and all agreed upon terms and conditions. 

    We understand and regret that the customer may have experienced issues accessing their transferred tickets. However, as Tickets-Center is not associated with any venue or primary ticket market these issues experienced by the customer were outside our purview. As it presently stands, the customer's order does not qualify for compensation and we consider this matter closed. We appreciate the customer's understanding throughout this matter and if they have any further questions regarding their order we encourage them to contact our customer care team.

    Purchase of concert tickets from Tickets-Center.com, today 10/11/2022. It was not until purchase of the tickets was I informed that tickets would not be available up until 1 hour before the concert, if they even could get them. I called to ask for a refund immediately upon hearing this information that they neither had the tickets (They aren't even available yet), they may never have them, and that they would not be available until 1hour before the event. I understand they often submit their TOS to credit card companies if a dispute is filed, but this information is NOT covered. I would not have purchased if this information was known.

The top of every event and ticket listing page clearly states, “Independent resale tickets, prices may be above face value.”

    Once our customer selected the ticket listing they desired for Blink 182, there they were able to see the tickets available, the Delivery Method and Expected Delivery Date (EAD). Once our customer selects the tickets they prefer, they were presented with the Delivery Method and directed to input their email address. Please note that here, customers are provided with an order summary that displays the event details, ticket location, and number of tickets the customer has selected on the right-hand side. This breakdown detailed the price per ticket, all fees, and the total charge of $1,367.50 in bold text prior to entering any payment information. Once our customers input their payment and billing information, they were prompted to click “Continue” and under this button it states: “Your account will not be charged yet.” Then, our customer is required to select a check box signifying their agreement to these terms stating, “I agree to the Terms & Privacy Policy. I have reviewed the Order Summary above. I understand that this site displays resale tickets and that prices may be above face value. I understand that this site is not affiliated with any box office or venue. All sales are final. There are no refunds, exchanges, or cancellations. All prices are listed in US Dollars." Below the terms, our customer’s order total breakdown is reiterated. Directly below the “Place Order” our customer was presented with the message, "By clicking 'Place Order,' your credit card will be charged $1,367.50 which includes ticket, service, and delivery fees" at which time our customer proceeded to place their order.

    Due to the nature of our business on the secondary marketplace, Tickets-Center is not affiliated with any artist or venue and does not own inventory; instead, we act as an intermediary between customers and sellers. All prices listed on our site are done so by the individual seller, not Tickets-Center, based on their personal assessments regarding a range of factors including customer demand. Since our customers are purchasing tickets owned and listed by individual resellers, we must ensure that our policies are fair to both parties. This means that we are unable to offer refunds and must adhere to an “all sales are final” policy—a standard throughout the industry.

    Prior to receiving this claim we thoroughly discussed this matter with our customer to address all of their concerns. We maintain that all order details were sufficiently displayed prior to placing their order; as such, we consider this matter closed.     I was looking to purchase tickets to see my friend’s show in New Hampshire. I was led to this website and dismayed to find out about the prices of the show. Thinking it didn’t matter, i paid it with a capital one credit card. Only to find out i paid triple the price. I looked to file a complaint but there is nowhere on their website that i can file said complaint and their website says all sales are final. This is absolutely ridiculous and screws people out of money that they otherwise need for more important things than being screwed over by a company that i have no choice but to believe is stealing money. I cannot get a refund on their website as there is no way to contact them that i can see. In their own words, all “sales” are final. Attached are the final payments I made. As well as a very misleading map of the theatre i thought i was ordering from. There is an order confirmation involving ticket-centers.com as well as what i ended up paying for a ticket on the actual website (as well as a picture of the actual website). A refund of my $74.95 would be very satisfactory and a warning issued to all unfortunate enough to use their site to stay away and never look back. Thank you.

    Better Business Bureau: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to my complaint and have determined that this does not resolve my  issue.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below. **In order for the bureau to continue to assist you, you MUST provide your view on the matter or your complaint will be closed as answered. My complaint stems from the fact that the ticket i bought for the colonial theatre in Laconia NH never received notification about this ticket being bought and even then, they offer tickets at $50 less than what the price listed via this business claims. I have proof attached that the tickets were $24 for the event and that the business swindled me $74.95 for try to resell tickets to a theatre that was nearly empty on the day of the show. At the top of google when you searched for tickets for almost maine, ticket center is falsely at the top ad and in my view has taken advantage of a theatre as well as potentially other theatres by stealing money from them to give fake tickets. Because once again, at the theatre in question, there was no ticket under ticket-center nor did they have any record. I do not have visible proof because it does not exist and i kept emails about the ticket center purchase that repeatedly said “this is not your ticket.” In looking for a refund i was deflected and could not even write a reply for a refund. So in my view, i was taken advantage of, mislead and swindled out of my money. And in my view, ticket-center sent this reply because what they did was technically legal, but it by no means thinks of the customer and in my view takes advantage of the consumers trying to go to the theatre. It’s unfortunate that i didn’t have PayPal and i can’t report this as fraud because once more in my view, i was frauded and i expect recompense.     Thank you for responding. We appreciate the opportunity to further address our customer's concerns. As stated in our previous response, several disclosures are made through the ticket selection and checkout process which state that we display resale tickets, and prices may be above or below face value. This is further reiterated in our terms and conditions, which every customer must agree to prior to completing their purchase. Additionally, the emails our customer received which stated "this email is not your ticket" contained a link at the bottom of each email to download the tickets they would need to display at the event.

    In addition to this current claim, our customer filed a dispute with their credit card company regarding this order. We have addressed this, and we have accepted the dispute. If our customer has any further questions regarding this dispute, we encourage them to reach out to the financial institution with which it was filed. At this time, we consider this matter closed.

    Purchased very high price tickets through the company in April for event in October. Received email with a link for my ticket and the link said that my tickets had already been downloaded by another email address. Called customer service three separate times and all they could help me with was to tell me to monitor my email that it was under investigation. I never received my tickets. They will not offer me a refund supposedly I will get one the day of the event, however; they are selling the very same tickets online and are not offering to give me new tickets. I have no guarantee that I will get a refund or an email from them, and no assurances that my case is being handled. Very frustrating but I cannot speak to somebody that has more authority to help me.

The delivery email was sent to the email address entered by the customer at the time of purchase and contained a link the customer would follow to accept their ticket transfer. A clear and detailed explanation of this process was provided in the email sent to the customer. As valid tickets had been provided the customer's order was fulfilled in accordance with both our buyer guarantee and all terms agreed to by the customer at the time of purchase. After our customer reported issues accessing their tickets, in the interest of customer service, we provided our customer courtesy replacement tickets. As this matter was thoroughly address prior to the customer's event we consider the matter resolved. If our customer has any additional concerns regarding their order, we encourage them to reach out to our customer service department so that they may be addressed.

    I ordered 2 tickets to go see Grupo Firme for September 3rd 2022. They claim I received the tickets but their seller cancelled my tickets TWICE! I have asked for a refund but will not give me one because they claimed I received the tickets when I showed Tickets-Center Proof

    Date of transaction was October 5, 2022. I inadvertently purchased tickets for Book of Mormon. I attempted to click the cancel button and it seemed Successful. When I got home from work I looked at my e-mail and saw a confirmation e-mail from ticket-center.com. Apparently the cancellation did not go through. Now they won’t do anything since their policy is all sales are final. They won’t even help me with a resale. They are a very unethical organization and their customer service folks just say too bad that is our policy. I think the cancel Button is a “placebo or fake”.

    With respect to our customer's claim, it should be noted that our site is completely user-driven, which means that any selection made throughout the checkout process is made manually by the customer. This also means that all contact information and payment information is manually entered by the customer as well. It should be noted that an order is considered complete upon the customer's selection of the "Place Order" button on the final page of checkout. Furthermore, it was required by our customer to manually select a checkbox, signifying their agreement to our terms with the following text: "I agree to the Terms & Privacy Policy. I have reviewed the order summary below. I understand that this site displays resale tickets and that prices may be above face value. I understand that this site is not affiliated with any box office or venue. All sales are final. There are no refunds, exchanges or cancellations. All prices are listed in US Dollars." An order cannot be complete unless this checkbox is selected prior to clicking the "Place Order" button. It should further be noted that on the final page of checkout, before the purchase is finalized, there is not an option to cancel the selection. If, prior to selecting the "Place Order" button, a customer decides not to move forward with the purchase, they may simply select the back button on their browser or close out the window.

    In this case, the customer's order for The Book Of Mormon was processed and confirmed, meaning the checkbox and "Place Order" button were manually selected by our customer, finalizing the purchase. Because our customers are purchasing tickets owned and listed by resellers, we must ensure that our policies are fair to both parties. This means that we are typically unable to offer refunds and must adhere to an “all sales are final” policy—a standard throughout the industry and agreed to by the customer at checkout. If our customer has any additional concerns pertaining to their order, we encourage them to contact our customer service department.

    On sunday 10/02/2023 I bought 2 tickets to Tickets-center.com for the total amount of $300,00. At the end of the purchase, once I've already paid for it, they said that I would not get the tickets right now, and that I may get them 2 days before the event. They never let me know that I was going to make a purchase without any receipt or tickets. So I've spent $300.00 and got nothing in return but just an "order number" (which is #47740576). After some research for reviews, I've seen that many users report that Ticket-Center.com it's actually a SCAM. I've called them MANY times and they responded just once and told me that they will not refund me as is on their terms and conditions and the only thing I can do is to resell the tickets (don't know how if I don't get any of them). As this purchase was made with my debit Mastercard from Spring Bank I've immediately reported it! They close my debit card, but they cannot unknown the expense as I actually did it. [I cannot attach files, the button is not working]

Rather, the estimated ship date is set by the individual seller of the tickets and is dependent upon the primary issuer of the tickets, with which Tickets-Center has no affiliation. Please note that the expected ticket delivery date is disclosed during the checkout process when the customer selects the ticket delivery method. Since our customers are purchasing tickets owned and listed by individual resellers, we must ensure that our policies are fair to both parties. This means that we are unable to offer refunds and must adhere to an “all sales are final” policy—a standard throughout the industry. 

    Please note, all purchases made on our website are covered by our buyer guarantee, which ensures that tickets are authentic and will arrive before the event. Additionally, all order details including the expected ship date were sufficiently displayed prior to the customer completing their order, and as such we consider this matter closed.     Tickets purchased are for the wrong date. I tried to contact Ticket-Center.com immediately to inform them of the error, but they refused to respond. My order number is 47711094. I need tickets for Dec 16 but got tickets for Dec 18, 2022.

    Total SCAM. They charged me 250$ more for two ticket compare to Ticketmaster which I was aiming to buy from but their website had popped up by mistake. I was trying to get a price adjustment by chatting their customer representative but she hung up on me. No one should buy anything from them. I would like full refund and they should pay penalty. Shocked to see more than 5000 complaints about them in last 3 years. How cons they can still do business. What is the function of BBB??

    Thank you for reaching out to us. At Tickets-Center, we value our customers and would like to take the time to address our customer’s concerns. It should be noted that Tickets-Center is an online resale marketplace, which means we do not own or generate tickets—instead, we merely facilitate transactions between ticket buyers and ticket sellers. The top of every event and ticket listing page clearly states, “Independent resale tickets, prices may be above face value.”

    Once our customer selected the ticket listing they desired for MJ - The Musical, there they were able to see the tickets available, the Delivery Method and Expected Delivery Date (EAD). Once our customer selects the tickets they prefer, they were presented with the Delivery Method and directed to input their email address. Please note that here, customers are provided with an order summary that displays the event details, ticket location, and number of tickets the customer has selected on the right-hand side. This breakdown detailed the price per ticket, all fees, and the total charge of $630.00 in bold text prior to entering any payment information. Once our customers input their payment and billing information, they were prompted to click “Continue” and under this button it states: “Your account will not be charged yet.” Then, our customer is required to select a check box signifying their agreement to these terms stating, “I agree to the Terms & Privacy Policy. I have reviewed the Order Summary above. I understand that this site displays resale tickets and that prices may be above face value. I understand that this site is not affiliated with any box office or venue. All sales are final. There are no refunds, exchanges, or cancellations. All prices are listed in US Dollars." Below the terms, our customer’s order total breakdown is reiterated. Directly below the “Place Order” our customer was presented with the message, "By clicking 'Place Order,' your credit card will be charged $630.00 which includes ticket, service, and delivery fees" at which time our customer proceeded to place their order.

    Due to the nature of our business on the secondary marketplace, Tickets-Center is not affiliated with any artist or venue and does not own inventory; instead, we act as an intermediary between customers and sellers. All prices listed on our site are done so by the individual seller, not Tickets-Center, based on their personal assessments regarding a range of factors including customer demand. Since our customers are purchasing tickets owned and listed by individual resellers, we must ensure that our policies are fair to both parties. This means that we are unable to offer refunds and must adhere to an “all sales are final” policy—a standard throughout the industry.

    Prior to receiving this claim we thoroughly discussed this matter with our customer to address all of their concerns. We maintain that all order details were sufficiently displayed prior to placing their order; as such, we consider this matter closed. If our customer has any additional concerns regarding their order, we encourage them to reach out to our customer service department so that they may be addressed.
