When searching for concert tickets, these fraudsters are the first to appear in the search. They go to great lengths to masquerade as legitimate but they will gauge you for as much money as they can with a smile on their face as they backstab you. I bought tickets to my favorite band- Porcupine Tree- they have not toured together for 12 years. I received an email verification of my purchase, but no tickets. They said the tickets would arrive the day before the concert- no ticket! They have a call center with the kindest people who answer the phone. They are reassuring and saying- just check your email. No ticket. Now the day of the concert, and I am out $700 to these scammers. No ticket. They are CRIMINALS and I wish they could be immediately shut down. How are they still allowed to do this? I hope the folks running this rot in jail.Business Response

I purchased parking from Ticket-Center on 9/27 for a concert on 9/30. Order #47598287. The listing was for Lot N, Row A. When I received the pass, It was for a first-come, first-serve lot and not "Row A" as stated in the listing. The company said I should not have expected Row A and they use "ROW A" for inventory purposes and no refund would be given even though they have listings for other items that show "GA" noting General Admission. Their 100% buyer guarantee offers Authentic tickets delivered in time for the event - it may be "authentic" but it is certainly NOT truthful since I will not have parking in ROW A that I paid for. Ordered four tickets for Sinbad concert through ticket-center.com in October 2019. Order #30605995 totalling $495.50. Concert rescheduled 5 times and ultimately canceled on August 8, 2022 followed by attached email on August 10, 2022. I have not received a refund and my emails have not been answered. At the time of purchase, in order to complete their order, our customer was required to select a check box signifying their agreement to our terms stating, “I agree to the Terms & Privacy Policy. I have reviewed the Order Summary above. I understand that this site displays resale tickets and that prices may be above face value. I understand that this site is not affiliated with any box office or venue. All sales are final. There are no refunds, exchanges, or cancellations. All prices are listed in US Dollars." Below the terms, our customer’s order total breakdown was provided. Directly below the “Place Order” our customer was presented with the message, "By clicking 'Place Order,' your credit card will be charged $299.50 which includes ticket, service, and delivery fees" at which time our customer proceeded to place their order. Once an order is placed on our site it is reviewed for potential fraudulent activity and orders are only confirmed if no evidence of fraud is found.
Due to the nature of our business on the secondary marketplace, Tickets-Center is not affiliated with any artist or venue and does not own inventory; instead, we act as an intermediary between customers and sellers. Since our customers are purchasing tickets owned and listed by individual resellers, we must ensure that our policies are fair to both parties. This means that we are unable to offer refunds and must adhere to an “all sales are final” policy—a standard throughout the industry. We maintain that all terms of use were sufficiently displayed prior to the customer placing their order; as such, we consider this matter closed. If our customer has any additional concerns regarding their order, we encourage them to reach out to our customer service department so that they may be addressed.

This business masquerades as the Ticket Office for the venue. It sells tickets in a particular section of the venue, but will not identify which seats. I purchased tickets on 9/25/2022 and the business sent me an email saying that it will not know where the seats are until mid-December. The business does not have tickets on hand, but does not reveal this. It charges very high prices to try and buy them third-hand, but they do not reveal this. My tickets were for the Nutcracker in December. 5 tickets were purchased for a family with 3 young children. I found out that this business will just buy single tickets here and there throughout the section with no guarantee that any of the 5 will be together. Obviously, this was not revealed either. The site does not reveal how their process works and leaves the purchaser without confidence that it will even get the tickets.Business Response

Our customer has stated that they believed they were purchasing through the website for the venue or of the event itself. However, it should be noted that our web address and website branding are intentionally different from those of any other site. The top of every event and ticket listing page clearly states, “Independent resale tickets, prices may be above face value."
With regard to the customer's concern pertaining to their seats and ticket delivery we would like to note that the listing selected by our customer contained a listing note with designated the listing as "Zone Seating". This note was published on the tickets listing and was displayed on screen in the order summary throughout the entire checkout process. If our customer would like to review this listing note it is also printed on their order summary email. The entire listing note read: "Zone Seating: this listing describes tickets that the seller does not own, but is offering to procure for you. Like all tickets sold on a marketplace, zone tickets may be higher or lower than the price first offered by the venue. After you place your order and your order is confirmed, we guarantee that your tickets will be within the zone or section listed or one comparable and that you will receive these tickets in time for the event or your money back. Orders exceeding four tickets may be split up into different rows within the requested zone or section. Specific seats are not assigned until delivery."
When placing their order our customer was required to select a check box signifying their agreement to our terms stating, “I agree to the Terms & Privacy Policy. I purchased tickets from Tickets-center.com almost 2 years ago for a UFC fight night in Columbus, Ohio. The event was postponed due to Covid and rescheduled for a later date. I never received a refund or voucher for the event. I paid 419.50 for two tickets and requested a refund after hearing the event was postponed. They said they only offer refunds in cases of cancellation. Fast forward 2 years later and I recently received an email from them offering a refund or store credit. I opted for the refund that should’ve been offered immediately after. The funny part is they offered the refund days after I closed the bank account I had previously, the one used to purchase the tickets. So now I’m playing ping pong between them and my bank and getting pointed in opposite directions. I called US bank and told them the situation, was rerouted 4 times before I got told that because my account is closed the money will automatically go back to Ticket-center.com and to follow up with them to complete my refund. So I waited a week to make sure it was bounced back before contacting them again only to be lied to and told that my bank has my refund and to contact them again to recover my money.Business Response

The seller - who spoofs Ticketmaster in their colors and logo - did not disclose the were a 3rd party seller. I didn't know until someone named J. McCabe emails me to say I need to "accept his transfer of tickets". I immediately tried to reach Ticket-Center.com to ask for a refund, but they do not monitor email responses, they do not provide live chat and ignore information they request in the chat, and they do not answer their phone number or provide answers to to refund requests in their auto replies. Once our customer selected the ticket listing they desired for Harry Connick Jr - A Holiday Celebration, there they were able to see the tickets available, the Delivery Method and Expected Delivery Date (EAD). Once our customer selects the tickets they prefer, they were presented with the Delivery Method and directed to input their email address. Please note that here, customers are provided with an order summary that displays the event details, ticket location, and number of tickets the customer has selected on the right-hand side. This breakdown detailed the price per ticket, all fees, and the total charge of $369.50 in bold text prior to entering any payment information. Once our customers input their payment and billing information, they were prompted to click “Continue” and under this button it states: “Your account will not be charged yet.” Then, our customer is required to select a check box signifying their agreement to these terms stating, “I agree to the Terms & Privacy Policy. I have reviewed the Order Summary above. I understand that this site displays resale tickets and that prices may be above face value. I understand that this site is not affiliated with any box office or venue. All sales are final. There are no refunds, exchanges, or cancellations. All prices are listed in US Dollars." Below the terms, our customer’s order total breakdown is reiterated. Since our customers are purchasing tickets owned and listed by individual resellers, we must ensure that our policies are fair to both parties. This means that we are unable to offer refunds and must adhere to an “all sales are final” policy—a standard throughout the industry. It is also important to note that our terms state: The 100% Guarantee means (i) that your transaction will be safe and secure, (ii) the tickets will be delivered prior to the event, (iii) the tickets will be identical, comparable, or better than the tickets you ordered, and (iv) the tickets will be valid and authentic.”
Please note that we have not heard from our customer regarding their concerns, prior to this claim. We maintain that our customer received valid and authentic tickets for their event; as such, we consider this matter closed. We purchased tickets through TC for Abba, and we are happy with the purchase, but we can no longer go, and Ticket-Center does not offer any help with resale. In this day and age, it is assumed that you could tell tickets if something comes up and you can no longer go. I have tried to resell these tickets on other sites, but other sites won't take "zone" ticket sales, or there is no way to transfer the tickets to a buyer. Just aggravating. Wish I knew. My debit card was charged $396.95 on 9/19/22 to purchase tickets to Mean Girls The Musical. The order number was 47391115. I noticed yesterday evening that my debit card was missing and had an email in my inbox for this purchase. I contacted the website this morning to report this and they told me there was no sign of fraud. I do not know how this purchase was made, but it was not me and I am concerned that this business is honoring an order that I did not place.Business Response
