    On 9/9/2022 I searched for tickets to a monster truck jam. Apparently GoogleAds has tickets-center running on an ad because it was the first thing that came up. Tickets cost more than I remembered but I did it anyways because I was in a hurry at work. I quickly realized that I had just purchased resale tickets from ticket-center and not original tickets from ticketmaster. ?? I called right away. The woman on the phone was horrible. Repeating the same thing over and over. I asked to speak to a manager and she refused to transfer me to anyone else. I attempted to call back and now it's just dead air as if my number has been blocked. I'd much rather support ticketMaster than a crap resale ticket company who makes a profit off of sellers price gouging tickets. The only way for them to make a profit is if the seller sets the price above face value - and they know that. Otherwise the seller is still losing money selling them at the original price. If it had been obvious that these were resale tickets I would have found the correct site. However, their site looks extremely similar to ticket Master. The font size is incredibly small and hard to read - I wear glasses for reading but didn't have them on so the fine print was all a blur. This place shouldn't be in business. The only ticket resale sites should be run by the original verified ticket sellers to begin with. I attached the pictures of the price difference for a reference. Notice how ticketmaster says before you pay that all sales are final - no refunds. I did not recieve this same warning on ticket-center. This is deceptive marketing and sales tactics. It should not be allowed. They shouldn't be allowed to run ads on Google either.

Our customer has stated that they believed they were purchasing through the website for the venue or of the event itself. However, it should be noted that our web address and website branding are intentionally different from those of any other site. The top of every event and ticket listing page clearly states, “Independent resale tickets, prices may be above face value." 
     
    When placing their order our customer was required to select a check box signifying their agreement to our terms stating, “I agree to the Terms & Privacy Policy. I have reviewed the Order Summary above. I understand that this site displays resale tickets and that prices may be above face value. I understand that this site is not affiliated with any box office or venue. All sales are final. There are no refunds, exchanges, or cancellations. All prices are listed in US Dollars." Below the terms, our customer’s order total breakdown is provided. Directly below the “Place Order” button our customer was presented with the message, "By clicking 'Place Order,' your credit card will be charged $330.95 which includes ticket, service, and delivery fees" at which time our customer proceeded to place their order. 
     
    Due to the nature of our business on the secondary marketplace, Tickets-Center is not affiliated with any artist or venue and does not own inventory; instead, we act as an intermediary between customers and sellers. Since our customers are purchasing tickets owned and listed by individual resellers, we must ensure that our policies are fair to both parties. This means that we are unable to offer refunds and must adhere to an “all sales are final” policy—a standard throughout the industry. We maintain that all order details were sufficiently displayed prior to placing their order; as such, we consider this matter closed.     My thirteen year old was duped into buying these tickets on her mother's credit card. It switched this scam place and charged 156 dollars for a 60 dollar purchase. It was nit okayed with parents. Company refuses to do anything about it. Said to sell the tickets to get the money back but the venue is completely open and tickets are 30 dollars. The child didn't know any better this company scams people and when the parent found out less than 12 hours later they send emails saying you should have known better, try selling those tickets for thr double the prices of UNsold out show. This is such a scam!

    In further reference to our customer's claim, once an order is placed on our site it is reviewed for potential fraudulent activity. Orders are only confirmed if no evidence of fraud is found. Due to the nature of our business on the secondary marketplace, Tickets-Center is not affiliated with any artist or venue and does not own inventory; instead, we act as an intermediary between customers and sellers. As such we are unable to offer a refund and must adhere to an “all sales are final” policy—a standard throughout the industry. Prior to receiving this claim we thoroughly discussed this matter with our customer to address all of their concerns.     On 9/5/2022, I ordered tickets to a concert on 9/18/2022. I searched google.com on how to purchase tickets and the first (non-advertisement) link was tickets-center.com. I erroneously believed that this was a legitimate seller, and ordered tickets through this website. I later found this site was charging more than double the price readily available from the website of the venue, and they were not a legitimate partner of the venue. In addition, they have said they are not providing the tickets until 2 days prior to the event. I have seen many complaints that this business has failed to provide tickets or provided incorrect tickets in past transactions. I believe this website is designed to mislead consumers and charges inflated prices for tickets they don't even have. They may or may not eventually procure the correct tickets, but they are providing no value added to the consumer. I contacted the business on 9/8/2022 to request a refund and was told that based on their terms of service I was not entitled to a refund. This business is solely designed to scam consumers. I hope the BBB is able to provide some recourse. I have also filed a complaint against this business with the Illinois Attorney General.

    Once our customer selected the ticket listing they desired for Jake Shimabukuro, there they were able to see the tickets available, the Delivery Method and Expected Delivery Date (EAD). Once our customer selects the tickets they prefer, they were presented with the Delivery Method and directed to input their email address. Please note that here, customers are provided with an order summary that displays the event details, ticket location, and number of tickets the customer has selected on the right-hand side. This breakdown detailed the price per ticket, all fees, and the total charge of $450.95 in bold text prior to entering any payment information. Once our customers input their payment and billing information, they were prompted to click “Continue” and under this button it states: “Your account will not be charged yet.” Then, our customer is required to select a check box signifying their agreement to these terms stating, “I agree to the Terms & Privacy Policy. I have reviewed the Order Summary above. I understand that this site displays resale tickets and that prices may be above face value. I understand that this site is not affiliated with any box office or venue. All sales are final. There are no refunds, exchanges, or cancellations. All prices are listed in US Dollars."     i requested a refund on tickets we could not go to. They refused saying all sales are final. Upon further research they charged 3X what the tickets should have cost if purchased directly. I only want my credit card refunded. The show is for 9/30, they would have plenty of time to re-sell these.

    A family member used my card to buy show tickets without my permission. When I contacted them, they would not give a refund.

To this end, we’re committed to providing the best possible customer service—and maintaining a secure checkout process.
     
    As a secondary marketplace, Tickets-Center is not affiliated with the event or venue and does not generate tickets as a primary box office; rather, we act as an intermediary between fans and ticket holders. Our site is completely user driven and therefore all contact information and payment information must be manually entered by the customer at checkout. Once this information is entered and the order is placed, it is put through a secure verification process to ensure the information provided is valid. Our customer's order was put through this process and was found to be valid and accurate. Please note that unauthorized use of payment information is outside of Tickets-Center's purview. We can only monitor fraudulent activity, which was not detected on this order.
     
    At this time, the customer's order is still covered by our Buyer Guarantee to receive valid tickets prior to their event. Because our customers are purchasing tickets owned and listed by resellers, we must ensure that our policies are fair to both parties. This means that we are typically unable to offer refunds and must adhere to an “all sales are final” policy—a standard throughout the industry and agreed to by the customer at checkout.     On Sept 7th, I searched for the Providence Performing Arts Center website to buy tickets. A site came up that appeared to be the venue site. I proceeded to buy tickets, but, thinking the prices seemed very high I continued to search online and found the real PPAc website for tickets. I believe RI has a rule that caps resale of tickets at + 10%. These tickets were over twice the price, with service fees of over 5 times the venue amount. The amount PPAC charges for the 2 tickets is $172. The tickets-center charge was $456.95. I called the 800 number for tickets-center.com, and asked them to cancel my order and refund my money. They said they would not cancel my order and refund my money. The tickets had not been issued to me yet, and they did not expect to email them to me until Sept 13th. The price charged far exceeds the allowable resale profit allowed in RI. I would like you to help me get my refund of $456.95, and prevent this company from deceiving purchasers and selling tickets above the allowed resale amount.

    I purchased tickets to Aerosmith on 1/31/2020. They were for my wife and I's anniversary and I spent $1,162.00 on the 2 tickets in section B2 Row 10 at Fenway Park in Boston. This concert was supposed to happen on 9/18/2020 and has been postponed twice now because of the pandemic. I could not locate my tickets which were purchased going on 3 years ago, and called ticket-center.com to get help. I spoke with Bright at around 3:10pm on 9/6/22 and he said they would do everything in their power to get copies of the tickets and that he was sending it to another dept. to have them contact the seller and I would hear back in a day or so. Within 10 mins I received an automated message, included in the the supporting documents, that says sellers purchase tickets in large quantities and are not able to reissue smaller sets of tickets. The rapid auto response did not sit well with me, so I contacted Fenway and they said that all the seller has to do is contact them and have the tickets held at will call for me to pick up, it does not matter the quantity originally purchased. So on 9/7/22 I called ticket-center back and asked them to please try the seller again and gave them the info that I received from Fenway. They refused to try the seller and said the answer is final there is nothing they can do about it. I don't believe they even tried the first time, just sent a generic response. Their lack of care is astounding. I am requesting a refund as this has been almost 3 years and they wouldn't even try to help me out, even after I called them out on their bluff about large quantities. Please help me get a resolution to this. I feel taken advantage of for tickets I purchased pre pandemic. Thank you.

Our records indicate that the tickets Mr. Davis ordered were issued as hard stock tickets, and delivered as of February 27th, 2020. Once tickets are delivered, it is under the purview of the customer to keep the tickets for their use. Once Mr. Davis contacted us and expressed that he could no longer locate the tickets, we requested a reissue through the seller. This is a request, and not a guarantee, as the seller fulfilled their responsibility by providing valid tickets to the event. The seller indicated that a reissue of the inventory is not possible, and as such we are unable to take further action regarding the matter. If our customer has additional questions, they are welcome to contact our customer care team. We maintain that all parties have fulfilled their duties as of February 27th, 2020 by providing inventory safely into the customer's possession. We consider this matter closed.

    On July 27, 2022 I ordered some tickets for the FSU vs Clemson football game from what I thought was a valid FSU vendor. Turns out it was a resale site. I immediately got an email saying I would get an email with the tickets by October 14th, 2022 (the day before the game). I then immediately tried to cancel the tickets. No luck. They said no refunds. I tried to dispute the charges—no luck. I bought tickets through the real FSU site. Eventually, I did get an email from tickets-center.COM with what they say are valid tickets—no thanks. Not going to chance going to the game with bogus resale tickets. Still trying to get a refund. I was duped into thinking this was a valid ticket vendor, not a resale site.

    Ticket purchase 9/4/2022 I wanted 4 tickets to a performance 9/8/2022 Moulin Rouge at Orpheum Theatre. I googled Orpheum Theatre and a banner was displayed at the top saying Orpheum Theatre tickets. I purchased 4 tickets in the balcony. It was difficult. I purchased 4 tickets for $122. The total charged was $734.95 to my PayPal account. I received an email saying that I hadn't purchased tickets, only an option to purchase. I checked my PayPal account and they had set up automatic payments so that they could continue to charge additional fees. I canceled the automatic payments and contacted them through PayPal saying that I did not want the tickets and wanted a refund. Later tickets with seats were emailed to me and they were the worst tickets, next to top row on the far left side of the theatre. They were issued in another person's name and had a price of $50. I called the box office at BroadwaySF and they said they could not affirm the tickets would work since they were not in my name. It was possible that I would be turned away from the theatre or accused of having a fraudulent ticket once it was scanned at the theatre. I have since purchased 4 authentic tickets from the box office, central loge tickets for a total of $600. Their website is deceiving and once you click that you want the tickets, there is no recourse or backing out. The Orpheum Theatre doesn't recognize them as legitimate and will not allow me to trade them in for a better location. They advertise 100% Buyer Guarantee but I have not heard from them since I sent a request for refund within an hour of placing the order when I was able to read all of the small print and information in subsequent emails.

It should be noted that Tickets-Center is an online resale marketplace, which means we do not own or generate tickets—instead, we merely facilitate transactions between ticket buyers and ticket sellers. The top of every event and ticket listing page clearly states, “Independent resale tickets, prices may be above face value.”

    Once our customer selected the ticket listing they desired for Moulin Rouge, there they were able to see the tickets available, the Delivery Method and Expected Delivery Date (EAD). Once our customer selects the tickets they prefer, they were presented with the Delivery Method and directed to input their email address. Please note that here, customers are provided with an order summary that displays the event details, ticket location, and number of tickets the customer has selected on the right-hand side. This breakdown detailed the price per ticket, all fees, and the total charge of $734.95 in bold text prior to entering any payment information. Once our customers input their payment and billing information, they were prompted to click “Continue” and under this button it states: “Your account will not be charged yet.” Then, our customer is required to select a check box signifying their agreement to these terms stating, “I agree to the Terms & Privacy Policy. I have reviewed the Order Summary above. I understand that this site displays resale tickets and that prices may be above face value. I understand that this site is not affiliated with any box office or venue. All sales are final. There are no refunds, exchanges, or cancellations. All prices are listed in US Dollars." Below the terms, our customer’s order total breakdown is reiterated. Directly below the “Place Order” our customer was presented with the message, "By clicking 'Place Order,' your credit card will be charged $734.95 which includes ticket, service, and delivery fees" at which time our customer proceeded to place their order.

    Due to the nature of our business on the secondary marketplace, Tickets-Center is not affiliated with any artist or venue and does not own inventory; instead, we act as an intermediary between customers and sellers. All prices listed on our site are done so by the individual seller, not Tickets-Center, based on their personal assessments regarding a range of factors including customer demand. Since our customers are purchasing tickets owned and listed by individual resellers, we must ensure that our policies are fair to both parties. This means that we are unable to offer refunds and must adhere to an “all sales are final” policy—a standard throughout the industry.

    In addition to this current claim, our customer has filed a dispute with their PayPal account regarding this order. We are unable to provide a resolution to this matter while this dispute remains open due to the nature of the dispute process. We encourage our customer to contact the institution with which the dispute was filed in relation to any questions they may have regarding its process or outcome. As it currently stands, we consider this matter closed.
