    Be aware that http://tickets-center.com practices very deceptive and unethical practices. When looking to purchase tickets, the site discloses its true identity in very small print. In targeting buyers, it makes its site look like it is the venue’s website and, in my case, even listed the entire lineup of shows for the complete week of the fair. I did not know I was not on the fair website. Nor did I know that I was not purchasing tickets directly from the venue. About a week after I purchased tickets, my husband alerted me that I was taken advantage of when he looked up the event venue website. It turns out I paid more than 3x the amount for the same ticket available on the ACTUAL venue website. It was then that I realized that Tickets-Center.com is not the official website for purchasing tickets for the event. I immediately called my credit card and reported the purchase and asked that the transaction not be paid - too late. I also looked up the company here on Better Business Bureau website and called the phone number listed for the company and requested my tickets be cancelled and money refunded, but Tickets-Center.com denied my request. I spoke to a “Senior Customer Service Representative” and was told that the “Tickets have been confirmed” so the company will not cancel order.” I see I am not alone. As such, I have made initial contact with a class action law firm to see if there is interest in suing the company to force it to change its practices. I will also work with my credit card company to see if anything can be done to remedy the situation. I am very disappointed by the actions of this company and the people who work for it. Very disheartening. Ideally, I would like an adjustment for the tickets I purchased - a credit of at least 50% - so that the pricing is more in line with the actual pricing for the event. Additionally, I would ask the BBB to influence laws to prohibit this kind of transaction under the consumer protection act.

    Once our customer selected the ticket listing they desired for TobyMac, there they were able to see the tickets available, the Delivery Method and Expected Delivery Date (EAD). Once our customer selects the tickets they prefer, they were presented with the Delivery Method and directed to input their email address. Please note that here, customers are provided with an order summary that displays the event details, ticket location, and number of tickets the customer has selected on the right-hand side. This breakdown detailed the price per ticket, all fees, and the total charge of $1,007.95 in bold text prior to entering any payment information. Once our customers input their payment and billing information, they were prompted to click “Continue” and under this button it states: “Your account will not be charged yet.” Then, our customer is required to select a check box signifying their agreement to these terms stating, “I agree to the Terms & Privacy Policy. I have reviewed the Order Summary above. I understand that this site displays resale tickets and that prices may be above face value. I understand that this site is not affiliated with any box office or venue. All sales are final. There are no refunds, exchanges, or cancellations. All prices are listed in US Dollars." Below the terms, our customer’s order total breakdown is reiterated. Directly below the “Place Order” our customer was presented with the message, "By clicking 'Place Order,' your credit card will be charged $1,007.95 which includes ticket, service, and delivery fees" at which time our customer proceeded to place their order.

    Due to the nature of our business on the secondary marketplace, Tickets-Center is not affiliated with any artist or venue and does not own inventory; instead, we act as an intermediary between customers and sellers. All prices listed on our site are done so by the individual seller, not Tickets-Center, based on their personal assessments regarding a range of factors including customer demand. Since our customers are purchasing tickets owned and listed by individual resellers, we must ensure that our policies are fair to both parties. This means that we are unable to offer refunds and must adhere to an “all sales are final” policy—a standard throughout the industry.

    Prior to receiving this claim we thoroughly discussed this matter with our customer to address all of their concerns. We maintain that all order details were sufficiently displayed prior to placing their order; as such, we consider this matter closed. If our customer has any additional concerns regarding their order, we encourage them to reach out to our customer service department so that they may be addressed.

    This site is horrible. You will not be able to get a refund if you can not go to a game. So beware! They have an F rating so don't use them. I just wanted a refund of money for tickets and they wouldn't budge. Such a scam.

Tickets-Center is continuing to operate during these events, and is working hard to protect all customers whose events are affected by the virus. We want to take this opportunity to reiterate that any customers whose events are cancelled without plans to postpone will receive compensation for their purchase.

    This buyer’s guarantee is outlined within our terms of use, which every customer must agree to before they complete their purchase. These terms were created with protection and fairness for all users of our site in mind, including both buyers and sellers. Under the current circumstances, many events are being rescheduled to later dates. Within our terms, it is outlined that “If an event is postponed or rescheduled, your order will not qualify for a compensation and your tickets will be valid for the rescheduled date.”

    At this time, our customer’s event has been postponed and we will notify them once the event organizers announce the rescheduled date, therefore we must abide by out “All Sales are Final” policy. If the event organizers elect to cancel the event rather than reschedule our customer will be appropriately compensated. If our customer has any further questions, we encourage them to contact our customer service team so they may be addressed.

    I purchased two tickets for Jan 1st Patriots game 2023 and cannot locate anything that claims we cannot cancel .. although I had not planned to cancel. I advised that the tickets could not be used due to a death of a participant. I was advised that there is not the option to cancel but I could resell them. That was fruitless as Tickets-Center.com will not make the tickets available until the day before the game and all resellers need a barcode that I cannot get.     I purchased 2 tickets on March 22nd, 2022 to attend Daddy Yankee Concert at the FTX Arena, Miami Fl, on August 27th at 8 pm, under order #422793343. I receive an email on the same day confirming the order and stating the tickets would be available on 8/26/2022 and another email would be sent with a link to the tickets. I never received the email with the link, so I called on 8/26/2022 to request the access to my tickets. The customer service rep sent me an email with a link to be opened through Ticketmaster, when I opened the link it stated "Oops, this ticket has already been accepted by another email address". The rep stated he was going to escalate to request proof of receipt from the seller and to call back in an hour. I called back and i was told then to provide another email to be sent my tickets. Nothing happened so i called back, the last call someone named Teresa said i needed to wait because there was no way they can see who claimed my tickets, even when the event is so close to happen. I asked to be transferred to a supervisor and they stated they are not allowed to be transferred to a manger or a supervisor. At this point i just want my money back. This place is a total scam, it was my first time doing business with them and certainly will be the last.

    In this case the customer's ticket transfer was delivered shortly after their order was confirmed on 7/14/2022. The ticket transfer email was sent to the email address entered by the customer at the time of purchase and contained a link the customer should follow to accept their tickets. A clear and detailed explanation of this process was provided in the email sent to the customer. In an effort to address the customer's concern valid documentation has been obtained which confirmed that the customer properly accepted their transferred tickets into their private account.   
     
    Once a ticket transfer is accepted it is under the sole possession and control of the customer rather than the original ticket holder or Tickets-Center. Provided this information, our customer's order was considered fulfilled in accordance with both our buyer guarantee and all agreed upon terms and conditions. Despite this, on the day of our customer's event they were offered complimentary replacement tickets. Our customer accepted the replacement tickets which were then sent to the email address associated with the order. As our customer accepted the resolution provided on the day of the event we consider this matter resolved. If our customer has any additional concerns relating to their order, we welcome them to contact our customer service department.

    I paid the higher price for reserved tickets and got the cheapest worst seats. I paid over 300$ for tickets I could have bought myself for 16$ through the theater directly. They refused to refund me despite their website guarantees you will receive the quality or level of tickets you ordered. I was told it gets released to their seller and there is nothing they can do! But it's their website that guarantees a level of tickets. Terrible, it's fraud, scalping and theft, should be against the law. I want a refund

    I purchased tickets for a play at The Altria Theater in Richmond, VA. Since the tickets showed up when I went to the website for the theater, I assumed they were issued by the venue. I paid with my credit card on the site. I received several emails saying the tickets would be available prior to the event (sept 10, 2022 at 2pm). They were ordered aug 19. The email said notify if tickets not received in 24 to 48 hours. I notified them and was THEN told no cancellations or refunds and would have the tickets sept.3 (ie in 2 weeks!) They have STILL have not been received. I contacted and requested a refund. Was told they don't cancel or refund tickets. The email I received did NOT state that, in fact, said if order had been cancelled, do nothing. When I called today, the customer service asked me to hold, verified my phone number, then hung up while I was on hold. My order number is 46451387. Since I was misled and have not received the tickets, I want my credit card refunded.

    We would like to ensure our customer that every order placed on our site is backed by our Buyer Guarantee, which means that their tickets will be authentic, valid for entry, and delivered prior to the event. This guarantee is outlined within our terms which is available for review during the checkout process. Furthermore, upon the selection of their desired ticket listing, our customer was provided with the applicable delivery information such as the Delivery Method and Expected Delivery Date (EAD) of 9/3/2022.

    Due to the nature of our business as a secondary marketplace, Tickets-Center does not set or control delivery dates. Rather, the estimated delivery date is set by the individual seller of the selected tickets and is dependent upon when the tickets are released by the primary issuer, with which Tickets-Center has no affiliation. In accordance with our 100% Buyer Guarantee, our customer will be provided with their tickets in time for their event.

    Because our customers are purchasing tickets owned and listed by resellers, we must ensure that our policies are fair to both parties. This means that we are typically unable to offer refunds and must adhere to an “all sales are final” policy—a standard throughout the industry and agreed to by the customer at checkout. As all order details were sufficiently displayed prior to our customer placing their order, and the tickets are set to be delivered prior to their event, we consider this matter closed. If our customer has any additional concerns pertaining to their order, we encourage them to contact our customer service department.

    I purchased tickets on May 31, 2022, through tickets-cneter.com for a concert on August 26, 2022. They processed my card took the money and sent me a link to download the tickets. The link never worked. i have called the company a dozen times to resolve the issue and they are doing nothing about it. They read the same script every time which basically says they are not responsible. They should not be selling the tickets then if they will not take responsibility. I want the tickets! I want to see the show.

    In this case the customer's ticket transfer was delivered immediately after their order was confirmed on 5/31/2022. The delivery email was sent to the email address entered by the customer at the time of purchase and contained a link the customer should follow to accept their ticket transfer. A clear and detailed explanation of this process was provided in the email sent to the customer. Our customer later contacted our customer service team indicating they could not access their tickets. The customer was informed at that time that their tickets had already been sent to them but as a courtesy Tickets-Center would contact the original ticket holder to request that the tickets be transferred directly to the customer for their convenience. On 8/23/2022 the direct transfer was completed to the customer's email address and valid documentation has been obtained which confirmed this transfer. As it stands the customer's order was appropriately fulfilled and as such does not qualify for compensation. If our customer has any additional concerns regarding their order, we encourage them to reach out to our customer service department so that they may be addressed.

    I purchased online 4 tickets for the June 25 "Be A Man Live" show at the Chevalier Theatre at the cost of $391.50. The 4 of us showed up to the Chevalier Theatre on June 25 at 6pm to attend the show. The doors were locked so I went into the ticket sales office. I was told at this time that the event was cancelled. We were never told the event was cancelled at anytime and they refuse to give us a refund.

We have addressed this, and the dispute was ultimately closed in the customer's favor. As such, the customer has been compensated through their financial institution.     Better Business Bureau: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to my complaint and have determined that this does not resolve my  issue.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below. **In order for the bureau to continue to assist you, you MUST provide your view on the matter or your complaint will be closed as answered.

    I DO Reject the Business Response.  My credit card company did find my dispute in my favor but the Tickets-Center company IS at fault and liable to refund me.  There is evidence to substantiate my concern. The tickets were sold to me in May 2022.  This second night showing for the event, Saturday June 25, 2022 date sold to me was cancelled in March 2022 and ticketholders were notified of the cancellation and offered to go to the first night showing, Thursday date, or be refunded.  Please see the attached evidence that the tickets sold to me were for an already cancelled event date.  My credit card company should be reimbursed asap from the merchant for the bogus tickets.  Please respond at your earliest convenience.  Thank you.Sincerely, Regards, Complaint ID: 17746813

As previously stated, the financial dispute our customer filled regarding this transition was closed in their favor which means they have been refunded through the dispute process. For this reason no additional compensation may be provided for their order.     Customer Question: I got scammed off your site, can you help. The tickets were #46256896. As you can see my name is Rachel Palmer. The name that appeared on the tickets was: Brennan Wrecke. Each ticket was supposed to cost $9.75. DBBM - 108448729 (SSP) $9.75 I got charged$123.57. Below is what I was charged.     Thank you for reaching out to us. At Tickets-Center, we value our customers and would like to take the time to address our customer’s concerns. It should be noted that Tickets-Center is an online resale marketplace, which means we do not own or generate tickets—instead, we merely facilitate transactions between ticket buyers and ticket sellers. The top of every event and ticket listing page clearly states, “Independent resale tickets, prices may be above face value.”

    Once our customer selected the ticket listing they desired for Jacksonville Jumbo Shrimp at Durham Bulls, there they were able to see the tickets available, the Delivery Method and Expected Delivery Date (EAD). Once our customer selects the tickets they prefer, they were presented with the Delivery Method and directed to input their email address. Please note that here, customers are provided with an order summary that displays the event details, ticket location, and number of tickets the customer has selected on the right-hand side. This breakdown detailed the price per ticket, all fees, and the total charge of $123.57 in bold text prior to entering any payment information. Once our customers input their payment and billing information, they were prompted to click “Continue” and under this button it states: “Your account will not be charged yet.” Then, our customer is required to select a check box signifying their agreement to these terms stating, “I agree to the Terms & Privacy Policy. I have reviewed the Order Summary above. I understand that this site displays resale tickets and that prices may be above face value. I understand that this site is not affiliated with any box office or venue. All sales are final. There are no refunds, exchanges, or cancellations. All prices are listed in US Dollars." Below the terms, our customer’s order total breakdown is reiterated. Directly below the “Place Order” our customer was presented with the message, "By clicking 'Place Order,' your credit card will be charged $123.57 which includes ticket, service, and delivery fees" at which time our customer proceeded to place their order.

    Due to the nature of our business on the secondary marketplace, Tickets-Center is not affiliated with any artist or venue and does not own inventory; instead, we act as an intermediary between customers and sellers. All prices listed on our site are done so by the individual seller, not Tickets-Center, based on their personal assessments regarding a range of factors including customer demand. Since our customers are purchasing tickets owned and listed by individual resellers, we must ensure that our policies are fair to both parties. This means that we are unable to offer refunds and must adhere to an “all sales are final” policy—a standard throughout the industry.

    Prior to receiving this claim we thoroughly discussed this matter with our customer to address all of their concerns. We maintain that all order details were sufficiently displayed prior to placing their order; as such, we consider this matter closed. If our customer has any additional concerns regarding their order, we encourage them to reach out to our customer service department so that they may be addressed.

    Tickets sold were FAKE. I called their number for customer service.. they continue to hang up or not respond. They also ask for a lot of information to "check" the order. They also asked me to "prove" the tickets were invalid with a screenshot and to email them to support. I did, and the customer service rep asked me to "send if a few more times just incase". They will not provide me with a refund.

It should be noted that Tickets-Center is an online resale marketplace, which means we do not own or generate tickets—instead, we merely facilitate transactions between ticket buyers and ticket sellers. The top of every event and ticket listing page clearly states, “Independent resale tickets".

    The ticket delivery method selected by our customer was Electronic Transfer, which means our customer's tickets were transferred online and needed to be displayed on a smartphone device in order to gain entry. When Electronic Transfer tickets that are purchased on a primary market website are resold on the secondary market, the seller will transfer the tickets from their account to the new buyer through the website they were originally purchased on. Once transferred, tickets will no longer be in the seller's account. In this case the customer's ticket transfer was delivered shortly after their order was confirmed on 6/18/2022. The ticket transfer email was sent to the email address entered by the customer at the time of purchase and contained a link the customer should follow to accept their tickets. A clear and detailed explanation of this process was provided in the email sent to the customer. 

    In an effort to address the customer's concern proof was obtained which confirmed the customer properly accepted their tickets. Once a ticket transfer is accepted it is under the sole possession and control of the customer rather than the original ticket holder or Tickets-Center. These tickets are guaranteed to be valid for entry to the corresponding event. Provided this information, our customer's order was considered fulfilled in accordance with both our buyer guarantee and all agreed upon terms and conditions. We would like to note that the screen shots the customer provided do not correspond to any tool on our site and as such cannot be verified. If the customer was providing ticket or barcode information to another site that is outside the purview of Tickets-Center.

    We stand by our buyer guarantee which ensures tickets are valid to the corresponding event. However, if a customer choses to not use the tickets provided to attend the event, we cannot verify or investigate any issues regarding ticket validity. As it presently stands, the customer's order does not qualify for compensation and we consider this matter closed. We appreciate the customer's understanding throughout this matter and if they have any further questions regarding their order we encourage them to contact our customer care team.
