    WORST WARRANTY COMPANY! I have the "total blue" coverage and it pays for NOTHING! They told me the only way to get parts covered was to let my engine blow but then they would deny the claim. Out of a $7000 repair they only agreed to cover $404. Horrible customer service. I had to call 7 times before I finally got an answer. RUN FROM THIS COMPANY!!!

    I start out by telling you that I own an Automotive Repair shop in Visalia, CA. I can tell you from this part of the industry that I would not recommend this warranty to ANYONE. Read your fine print. They want us to repair a vehicle and wait for a check in the mail, that could take a month or longer. Repair shops do not have that kind of capitol sitting around. One of the representatives was so rude she told me to read the contract. I don't need to read the contract, that's the customers job. I sent in a finished order and was told 3 different weeks that the check was going out. I am still waiting for it over 2 months later. Now I turned in a claim for a wheel bearing/hub assembly and they want to pay $80 for it. I can't even buy it for that much. After asking for a supervisor to call me 3 different times to find out why they just said the customer will have to pay the difference. Thank God this warranty doesn't come through my shop very often. Just beware when the repair shop tells you that you will have to pay the difference it is the "warranty" company doing that. Like one of the other reviews says, I would rate a 0 if I could.

    DON'T BUY!!!!! Agree with the other 0-1 star reviews. Head gasket blew on a 6-hour drive home. Immediately pulled off the road, had the vehicle towed to the dealer. Apparently the "fine print" states that the engine won't be covered by the ASE warranty because of a head gasket. Any other reason would be covered. We have all oil change and maintenance records, but doesn't matter to them. The representative actually said that we could have been "racing" the car when this happened. Our family SUV- come on...
    Fair warning- they "exclude' whatever is wrong with your vehicle. Don't listen to what they tell you at the dealership.

    I wish I can leave a 0 star! This is the worst and I mean worst extended warranty! Don’t pay for a coverage that won’t happen! I have been trying to cancel my warranty with them and I’ll I get is “let me take your name down and someone will contact you back.” I have been calling for months now and no one can assist me. They are a huge scam of a company please don’t do the mistake like most of us did. I wish there is a massive lawsuit against them and we all get refunded what we paid to join this scamming insurance.

    This company is a complete scam, I paid for a vehicle for up to 5 years and the vehicle was totaled out, I was told I can transfer the warranty to another vehicle, I transferred the warranty a few months go by and when the vehicle went in for service, I received a call from ASE informing me that they have cancelled my warranty contract because the mileage was too high, the problem is they did not inform me of this when I transferred the vehicle. they will take your money and wont help you in any way, customer service does not have any answers for anything. over all this is a useless scamming company that takes your money and weasel their way out of any repairs.

    ASE will not pay for any repairs they are a complete scam

    I have never had such a horrible customer experience and will take the time out of my day to ensure I share such experience on all forms of review, social media and BBB. 3 calls exceeding 20 to 40 minute answer time, 'lost emails', emails not submitted, supervisors arguing and attempting to make excuses for such lack of service and professionalism. 48 hrs so far with my car in the shop waiting for ASE to get around to authorizing my repair. Oh and the covered rental car only applies once they have 'authorized' the repair.

    Its a scam to frustrate you and the mechanic. I'm waiting for the eventual denial for whatever reason or the 'only cover X $s of the repair. DO NOT BUY!!!!

    Total Scam!! After ONE service of $1200 on the next service which I have to admit was much larger of $3000 plus they try to scam me with only approving $815 and demanding for me to pay the rest if not there will be no refund of any kind... This is a shakedown and a scam.

    BUYER BEWARE! For those researching or shopping for the best extended service plan for their vehicle or motorcycle, ASE PROTECTION is NOT a good option. ASEPROTECTION.com's website states "Our top rated Motorcycle warranty plans protect you from surprise expenses." In reality, despite what the sales rep says, their contract is filled with legal jargon that simply protects them AND allows them to deny claims. Their Total Blue Shield contract shows covered components under section IV. However, section V shows EXCLUSIONS: PARTS AND SERVICES NOT CONVERED. This is what their claims administrator will reference when denying your claims. As others have mentioned, submitting a claim is a slow and inconvenient process, your calls/claims will be funneled by a small team that provides little to no updates, and you'll be left with an expensive warranty contract that does little to "protect you from surprise expenses." Then, cancelling the contract is just as frustrating. You'll have to provide "a notarized affidavit by mail verifying the vehicle mileage and a DATED VERIFIABLE current ODOMETER PHOTO." Be sure to send it by certified mail and require a signature of receipt. Do not purchase a warranty from ASE PROTECTION. It will not "save you thousands of dollars in repair bills" as stated on their website! If you do, however, be sure to identify all excluded/non-covered components. You'll see that it leaves you with mediocre coverage and protection.

    Purchased the highest plan for my car- which is in immaculate condition. however, I need a repair on the engine block - that clearly should have been covered. They sent me and the mechanic working on my car through the ringer, and at the end did not pay out. Customer service is terrible, but i would be in a bad mood as well if i had to tell every customer they are not getting paid for the repairs. Big or small they just don't pay. In fact, they work harder at finding reasons to deny you than to help you. Sad that companies like this are still out there and just don't care how much they take advantage of people. How do these people sleep at night????

    terrible customer service. as a shop trying to take care of the customer by using the extended warranty has been the worse experience. We have waited almost a year and still no payment after several attempts. Customer service is extremely rude and none existent. do not recommend to anyone
