      If I could rate 21st Century Auto Insurance a zero I would. Terrible customer service! Tried calling from 7/12/23 - 7/27/23. Hold times from 2 1/2 to over 4 hours. NEVER spoke to a person to cancel my policy. Finally faxed my cancellation request on 7/28/23 and stopped auto pay on my account. Then I get a letter saying how they are working to improve their customer service…tried calling again and nothing has changed. Next I get a letter from them dated August 7, 2023 saying my policy will be cancelled due to non payment! What a crock!!! I had 21st Century for about 30 years, and they used to be good. Actually answered their phones. Now they are terrible. Best advice you can get regarding them…run, don’t walk. There are plenty of other places out there that will be so much better, and those that truly understand the concept of good customer service. Next is a letter to the CEO to express my displeasure with the company. Do you really think they’ll care…NOT!!!

      I have been a customer of this insurance company for over 20 years. I have been trying to reach customer service on 10 different occasions this past 30 days (4 times on hold for over 1 hour) and nobody will answer the phone. I tried calling the Helppoint claims service and when they realized that this was not a claim, they returned me to the line that doesn't answer. In July, I switched insurance companies to AAA based in part due to this lack of customer support. The problem is that my new policy started on 8/04/2023 and this companies policy ends on 8/21/2023. The bottom line is that 21st Century has been collecting revenue on a policy that I have been trying to cancel. They need to reimburse me for their lack of service or small claims is the next step. Please help me to contact this company.

      Been trying to call customer service for the last week, everyday no matter morning afternoon or late afternoon before close hours, the wait is over 40 minutes. After an hour I hang up. This is ridiculous as I can’t fix my problem online. I have to call and speak to representative. I want to cancel my policy at this point but I can’t even get someone on the phone to do so. STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY!

      Horrendous customer service wait times, 2 hours or more on hold with an extremely monotonous recording about how sorry they are for the longer hold times, how we can use the website, which freezes up over and over again. You cannot perform more than one transaction within 24 hours, so if I delete a car and try to add the newly acquired vehicle, you can’t, so I can’t drive until customer service enters the new purchase. Ridiculous. I was on hold for over 2 hours and the recording comes on saying sorry we are closed! To me, that’s customer negligence! Unacceptable! The recording is so very condescending, I don’t care about what exceptional service I’ll get when they get to me, becuz I can never get through. I find myself cussing at that dumb recording. Why can’t they adopt a system that calls you once you are next……I honestly had an anxiety attack because of this. This is unacceptable company behavior and I would like to see this addressed immediately. The website, by the way, will take your payments, let you see your information just fine, but to ensure coverage of a new vehicle and deleting the trade in is impossible. I want to ensure, we as customers, will be ensured by this heinous behavior and neglect that this company promises and fixes this problem with an apology from their CEO! And…. not just a templated sorry message. My blood is boiling, I’m still on hold again right now as I write this….over a 1/2 hour now. Do something!

      I have had 21st Century Insurance for over 25 years. Since July 28, 2023, I have been calling 21st Century customer service to update and make major changes to my policy. As of today, August 9, 2023, I have not been able to reach anyone as I've been on hold in excess of two hours each and every time I have called.

      Today, August 9, 2023, at 9:04 am, I called 21st Century Claims phone number and was able to speak to a live agent, whom I expressed my frustration and dissatisfaction with their company. This gentleman told me that he would write a note to the correct department so someone would get in touch with me by the end of the day today. As of 6:00 pm, no one from 21st Century has reached out.

      I have been calling for over two weeks daily and I have not been able to reach any live person. The average wait time before giving up is over two hours.

      This is no way to do business and it is unacceptable. For as much money I spend on car insurance, I should be able to reach a live person without wasting precious time of my life.

      CANNOT GET A HOLD OF ANYONE and have waited on hold for HOURS!!!! How are we supposed to be able to handle our policies if we cannot contact anyone? There is no contact form, no email anywhere. These crooks are taking my money every single day that I'm unable to get through so that I can adjust my policy! I am going to take my business elsewhere but need to SPEAK TO SOMEONE ASAP!!!!!!!!!

      Yes, GET THIS INSURANCE, BUT
      IF YU NEED TO SPEAK TO SOMEONE, YOU HAVE TO WAIT HOURS!!! SUCKS TO BE ME. PLEASE ANSWER!!! ALL I NEED IS A ID CARD WITH MY DAUGHTER'S NAME ON IT! Soooooo 3 days tryin and now they transferred me, I'm on hold another 1 hr.

      I have been calling 21 Century ins for 3 days, waiting on hold for over 2 hours, when it says hold to be 20 minutes one time an 40 minutes another time, they never answered. I am calling them cause my bill has doubled in 1 month an nothing has changed in my policy. I am 63yrs old medically retired from civil svc, I have low mileage and good driver points. I am currently looking for a better ins company. This is extremely concerning.

      Extremely frustrated with 21st Century Insurance! Been on hold for hours over several days, and as a loyal customer of 20+ years, this is unacceptable. Considering switching companies if my concerns aren't addressed soon.

      Been trying to take a car off of policy for days now. Tried to take it off on their website and it won't let me. I signed said car up for another insuranxe company one that picks up the phone within less than five minutes. Meanwhile I have tried calling for multiple days with an hour plus waiting. I have called at different times with just the same automated message and music playing. They stop at 6 pm PST with no other way to contact them. When they send out an email at least for the google play app they advertise does NOT EXIST AT ALL. No way to email them, no way to message them with a chat bot that would take me talking to a real human being to help me like many other websites.
