      I can't get any help with my UPROMISE master card I have not received my rewards money for over 3 years called Barclays several times and no help they are sending the money to UPROMISE but UPROMISE not depositing the money in my bank account as promised and you can't talk to a live person at UPROMISE I have been a customer for around 10 or more years never missed a payment and never late with a payment I am thinking about closing this account and getting one with another bank where I receive my rewards money as promised I don't know why they quit depositing my money in my bank account and no paper checks either they are just holding my money and I saw other customers this has happened to I need my money I have been a faithful customer and consider this stealing I wish I could give a zero star rating

      Trying to close an account MONTHLY since January 9, 2024. Representatives actually asked dying man if he really wanted to close account on his hospice bed and offered incentives to keep open!
      Even when repeatedly sent Power of Attorney and documents (monthly in January, February, March and April), did not even aknowledge until May 2024. And STILL charging things even though person is deceased. Just got their fraud "investigation" that charges made by someone "authorized" on the account. HE HAS BEEN DEAD FOR MONTHS!

      I truly believe Barclay's is the one committing fraud.

      I opened a Carnival Cruise credit card through Barclay's 10 months ago. I applied because we were going on a cruise and if you spent so much in 90 days you would get $250 to use on board. We paid it off and put it up and planned on using it on our cruise. Hadn't used it for 7-8 months and they closed my account for inactivity. I called and they said they sent a letter on May 15, 2025. Shockingly enough I still have not received that letter as of June 4, 2025. I have lost my on board credit of $250. I guess you're not allowed to be smart and not use your credit cards and save them until you need them. They told me I could reapply. Why in the world would I do that?? I told the representative that when you close an account you hurt someone's credit and she said she didn't know about that. I told her not to play stupid that she knows darn well that it hurts someone's credit when an account closes.

      BARCLAYS BANK DELAWARE and their attorneys at ANDREU, PALMA, LAVIN & SOLIS, PLLC acted deceptively in a legal case against me. I filed a Motion to Dismiss and Compel Arbitration in Sept 2023, but they falsely certified to the NJ court that I never responded, while also attaching my motion in the same court filing. This led to a default judgment entered without notice, violating my due process and arbitration rights.
      I only learned of the judgment in May 2025, via a surprise wage execution notice. Barclays and their lawyers pursued garnishment without disclosing how much was owed, ignoring basic transparency. Their conduct forced me, a pro se consumer, into costly efforts to undo the damage and enforce my arbitration rights.
      Worse, the law firm and Barclays use the BBB Accredited Business logo and A+ rating to appear trustworthy, despite multiple documented violations of court procedure and integrity. I’ve filed formal complaints with the CFPB, Attorney Grievance Committees, American Arbitration Association (AAA), and the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB).
      The attorneys involved were ****** ****** *** ******** ****** ** ******* ****** ***** * *****, PLLC.
      Consumers should be warned: Barclays and this firm’s public image does not match their actions. The legal shortcuts and lack of transparency I faced, when I trusted the system, only to be ambushed by procedural misconduct and silence. Their misuse of the BBB logo and pattern of unethical behavior should not be ignored.

      I was attempting to make a flight purchase on Priceline when I see an add for a credit card. Priceline rewards visa, could save 150$ on my first purchase (today) which I was currently attempting to make. I signed up for the card and was approved, only to realize the advertisement was technically false. I would have to wait 2 weeks until to the card arrived to make the purchase. What is the security risk if I’m giving you my social and full info? Why would they advertise the fact I could get a discount on the purchase I was attempting to make, if it’s not at all possible to make any purchases for 1-2 weeks. I immediately canceled the card and made my purchase how I originally intended. But now I have a hard inquiry on my credit, ALL BECAUSE OF FALSE ADVERTISEMENTS! If you would tell people yes, you can save… in 2 weeks. I guarantee no one would sign up.

      I went on a international trip after my husband died. I am 76 years old and called Barclay's in advance of my travels. I chose Barclay's to use for my trip to Italy. Even though advanced notice was given, my credit card was shut off twice. Here I was, 76 years old, alone and in a foreign country with no money.

      Called customer service this morning because My JetBlue Barclays credit card statement is showing two different interest charges. The woman I spoke to told me I was notified that my interest rate changed in November and I asked her how I was notified? She said you received a letter and I told her I did not. She said it was on my statement in November. I again said I never read that my interest rate was changing. We looked back to my November statement and on page 5 of 6 there was a box that said one interest rate with an amount, another interest rate with an amount. That was the big explanation she was talking about. I said, “As the customer, was I really supposed to understand that I was now going to see two interest payment every month because what is written in this box?” She said, “I guess not…”

      I don’t understand how a credit card company does not have to inform you of ONE REASON why interest rate has changed. My FICO score didn’t change in November. My balance didn’t change, so why did my interest rate suddenly increase 5%?? No explanation. All that tells me is that I need to use this card less and pay it off. This is the card they are pushing when you are currently flying and they’re trying to get you to sign up for their “new card”. Caveat emptor!

      Barclays Bank Delaware is an Anti-Black and fraudulent company that abusively, unfairly, deceptively and discriminatorily stole $2,500,000 from me in July of 2017. For more information regarding this theft of my same-day Fedwire see my consumer review dated May 19, 2025 where I go into as much details as possible on this platform of how and when Anti-Black Barclays stole my money, how I funded this consumer transaction, provided proof from government websites and direct links to the webpages for consumers to review for themselves, specifically the Board of Governors for the Federal Reserve and the Federal Reserve, that legally and lawfully under federal law the consumer transaction was considered same-day, immediate, final and irrevocable, email messages of confirmations of successful transactions verbatim. On May 20, 2025 the Anti-Black fraud company's Office of the President reached out to me via email wanting me to call their offices claiming that they attempted to call me at the number I provided when I made my review. I explained to them that my phone records do not indicate any such attempts from their offices. I also explained in violation of their own terms and agreements they changed my access to my own account by changing the password, username, secret word and online status when all of their terms and agreements gives them no authority to do so and that if they really wanted to resolve this matter then they should reimburse me the stolen $2,500,000 with treble compounding interest for the 7 years 9 months and 14 days of fraud that they've perpetrated against me (their terms stipulate that all of their accounts have compounding interest). Furthermore, I expressed to them newly discovered information relating to their fraud and theft of my money in how they attempted to fund one of their own secret accounts ********0020 in $2,500,000 that I had no information on nor did I authorized nor agreed to such transfers on July 13, 2017. I've had no contact since.

      I tried to get a $29 returned payment fee waived because my bank rejected the payment. The payment went through a few days later and Barclays received their payment in full before the due date. I asked if they would waive the fee as they still got their payment in full before the due date. They said they won't, even though my account is in good standing. I even asked if they would issue a $29 credit separate from this returned payment fee and they said no. It makes no sense they are willing to waive a late fee if my payment is late but they won't waive this fee for me trying to make my payment on time.
      I would stay far away from this company.
