This company is a joke. They don’t have fraud capabilities but yet on the app they ask for about 10 answers for security to get the app to pay online. Nope not giving this company answers to that much information!! With the one star ratings especially! I asked the customer service agent what address to send it through chase bank. I was put on hold forever..she didn’t know…on hold again. She was not exactly sure! I’m not paying over the phone to her. I could hear numerous voices in the background. These call centers seem shady to me especially when you can’t even understand them! I will be canceling this card!!Barclays Bank Delaware

Never do business with this company! I signed up for the card because they were offering American miles and a free year once spending $3000 (not sure of exact amount) in a 3 month period from opening the account. The miles were received once I spent the money however, I was charged the annual $99. Repeated calls and even giving them the code from the application lead to a vague letter that I didn’t give them enough documentation. I let it go but then had to dispute a charge that was not valid. Without going into all the detail but involved too many calls and emails with customer service agents giving different information resulted with another vague letter saying insufficient evidence. I followed up with the executive office to get further assistance and they did investigate and I was told again that they couldn’t reverse the amount. Unfortunately and lesson learned by me, the conversation that I had with the company who charged were via text. Had the customer service team done their due diligence at the opening of this case, I would have been able to screen shot the texts. Now, 9 months later, the texts are no longer visible or I am not technologically savvy enough to find them. I cannot even begin to relate my extreme dissatisfaction with Barclays. On my call today, I chose to close my account as I don’t need to do business with a company like this. We all have our options on choosing credit card companies and this one doesn’t deserve the business. I am extremely disappointed that Old Navy has chosen them as their new bank and I will keep a close eye on that card and if things go south, I won’t hesitate to close this one as well. Unfortunately, I like the benefits that Old Navy offers with this card or I would close immediately. I wish I had read the reviews prior to my opening the card as it seems that many have had similar issues. DO NOT OPEN BARCLAYS RED AVIATOR CARD!Barclays Bank Delaware

We have been haggling with Barclays Bank/Master Card for at least a year concerning a product I purchased through Amazon and returned. I was told the merchant was processing the return and then they said they had credited the account/Master Card. I sent MC the transition #’s and correspondence from the merchant yet MC still has not taken the charge off of my card and has continued to charge me interest that has resulted in my credit score not being what it normally is. I have told them that I will NOT pay them! They have closed my account but it is still on my credit as a negative. I have talked to NUMEROUS people ad nauseum and they all say they are going to help me out…HA! The last time I was on the phone with them was over 2 hours and the head of the dispute department said she would take off the interest and take care of the credit owed me. Well, after all of that, we were disconnected. I called back and was disconnected again. I have not heard back from them since and have since learned my credit score has gone from almost 800 to down in the 600’s. I will never have anything to do with Barclay Bank again Even when sending them hard copies and faxing the information about the transaction and the transition # they refuse to do anything about it! It may not seem much to them, but it is to me and my husband who are seniors and I can be just as stubborn as they are when it comes to right and wrong…and they are wrong!Barclays Bank Delaware

Terrible company first month with them they took out my payment of 300.00 twice I called and they said it will be back in my account of original payment and they changed me 30.00 late fee while I tried to get their app that’s also to be credited to my account now I called again August 3rd to check on it, and they said they applied the payment that they took to my August bill. I told them I need that 300.00 credited back and they said they just did it and it will show in 7 to 10 days fraudulent company and I’ve been with old navy for years with no problems or late fees until Barclays took over they can cancel my account!Barclays Bank Delaware

The only reason they rec'd 1 star was to insure this review is posted. By far the WORST customer phone service ever in my entire life.
Customer Service rep spoke in a dialect that was foreign not English. Unable to understand
her , I asked help to set up bill pay and is payment made payable to Barclays Bank or
AAdvantage Red card. She placed me on hold 4 times,
she didn't understand me either, So I asked for a supervisor and I was put on hold again.
Of course, no supervisor was available. I requested that she speak slower instead she read
from a script and never answered my question. I asked if I sent a check where to send it.
That took another 15 minutes because she had to go and ask someone else. So I requested to
speak to her co-worker placed on hold again. And of course no one was available to help me.
She gave me 2 different places. But no street address. Finally she recited a P O Box #.
unintelligable. I asked her to repeat the numbers 1 at a time. She rattled off teens and
twenties. 3 X I said 1 number at a time. Finally she understood that. BARCLAYS Why not hire
Americans that speak and understand English.? WE NEED JOBS HERE!! STOP farming out to
other countries for cheap labor. You got what you paid for.CHEAP LABOR delivering the WORST

Bait and SWITCH! My girlfriend and I got this card to earn mileage for a flight to San Francisco where our cruise will depart. We were both told separately the the 99.00 fee would be waived for the first year. Great! Now we only needed to make a purchase and pay within 90 days to earn our 60,000 miles. Did that immediately. Now we wait 4-6 weeks until our points post. I called to check on the mileage points a few weeks later and was told that I needed to pay the 99.00 fee before I would earn the mileage. I told them that it had been waived. No amount of argument or talking to supervisors changed their mind. BAIT AND SWITCH!! I immediately paid the fee because I needed the points,however, now my 4-6 weeks begins.My cruise is September 6. Not enough time to buy a plane ticket. I asked them if they would deposit my points sooner since it was their fault that I was in this position. Nope. They were very sorry. They told my travel partner the same thing. What a scam!!! Recently Barclays took over my Old Navy account. I pay my account in full monthly and have for years. I received a letter today allegedly from Barclays requesting a copy of my social security card and drivers license to be mailed to them. No other credit card company has ever made such an outrageous request. I will not send sensitive documents such as these through the mail to an address that may or may not be legit. They can close this account for all I care. The benefits of shopping at Old Navy are not worth opening myself up to a possible breach of my personal information.Barclays Bank Delaware
