Terrible experience. They recently reported a charge delinquency on my credit report from a card I briefly shared over 10 years ago with my mom. Everything was long paid off and the account closed. Upon calling they seemed so kind and understanding at first, but then transferred me to 6 different agents with long holds in between wasting over an hour of my time. Finally, I was connected with an irritated sounding man who insisted that I shared co-liability for this debt, and the delinquency would remain on my account for the next 7 years and the only way to remove it is to press charges for fraud against my mother. How insane! I confirmed with my family that the charges were indeed paid off long ago, and shows on my mom's account as being paid off. Apparently, they made a mistake somewhere and did not care to look into it further so just kept transferring me down the line. Such an unprofessional and disrespectful way of treating people.

I have a chase freedom credit card. I had to update payment info due to changing bank accounts. I called to update the new bank account. They could not take the info over the phone. I had to login to my computer and set up a new login account to change the payment info. I had such a hard time setting up this account and I could not do it. So I just finally asked that I cancel the credit card for it was sooooooooooo hard to change a bank account number. While customer service person was nice, she spoke so quiet that I could barely hear her.

Horrible banking experience! Lost a customer of near 2 decades.

I suspect an illegal practice from Chase credit card services. For reference, on my statement it reads Interest Saving Balance: $3,259.16, payment due by 12/02/2022. I paid this balance $3,259.16 on 11/15/2022. Tell me why on my recent statement they are charging me interest charges? I paid off the interest savings balance well before the due date and closing date. I called chase department and the gentleman just gave me a robotic answer as to how interest charges work. lol I know how interest charges work which is why I was paying this balance to avoid this. Has anyone had this happen to them? It doesn't feel right, especially since this has happened in the past but I have not questioned it.

After making a manual payment to our Chase Credit Card, and leaving on a trip our card attempted to pay off the entire statement balance only days later. This completely drained our account and was extremely frustrating. They were able to reverse this and we thought the matter was taken care of. What they did not inform us was that since it was a failed payment the system would attempt to try again, and again without us giving permission or authorizing for autopayment draining our bank account. So again we had to go through the same song and dance without any immediate solution. It's the fact that they have a system that was "out of their control", where they allowed this to happen a second time.

One star is too much for that bank.
Believe or not I was unable to reset my password while I was overseas for one full month. I provided the right personal information as SS, credit card
#s and that did not work. Generally I would be able to either chat, or get a code on my cell phone or email but nothing of those work. And if my credit card was stolen/lost and I needed to stop the payments? Very mediocre service. Years ago, I closed my account with Chase Bank but unfortunately my two credit cards (Sapphyre and United) are linked to that terrible bank. I called the customer service and no supervisors could find out why I could not reset my password online as every other company would do it. I won't recommend Chase Bank to my best friends.

I noticed that my APR/interest rates had been going up with my other CC's, so I decided to check Chase's. I haven't used this particular card (Chase Freedom Unlimited) since 2017, and I get paperless statements, so I don't have a recent statement, or access to one. While online @ Chase, I went around and around looking for how to access the info I was looking for. To my surprise, and after a call to Chase, I found out that the only way to find out my current interest rate is from a current statement, or by calling Chase. This information should be readily available for anyone one who needs it.

Last Tuesday I realized I over paid my credit card and called to have it refunded except for the minimum payment. Got the refund the next day. This morning I wake up to them taking the full amount of the credit card again, but this time WITHOUT MY AUTHORIZATION. I called the customer service, got told that my bank was the one rejecting the return. Called my bank and they told me they denied the return to the account because Chase never actually sent the money to them to put back in the account. Now absolutely pissed, I call Chase back and this representative is telling me that nothing the other representatives told me was true and that there’s nothing I can do but pretty much deal with it and I wasn’t getting a refund. He started getting rude with me so now I’m screaming mad that I’m being essentially robbed and being told too bad and got hung up on. Absolutely the worst people to bank with.

I was very excited to get the Chase Marriott Boundless credit card for the sign-up bonus of 3 free nights (50k pts each) after spending $3k in 3 months. However, when I hit the spending threshold, I was only given 35K point vouchers. I love the Marriott rewards program and their customer service, but they couldn't help me and said it was up to Chase to resolve. I called Chase Customer Service and they were dismissive and basically told me I was lying (even though I have proof of the offer from when I signed up). There was clearly a mistake in their system and yet they took zero responsibility and made no effort to fix it. I will never get another Chase credit card after this experience and I will warn my friends & family about the poor customer service/ bait-and-switch with sign-up bonuses.

My husband and I have a Chase Credit Card for over 18 years. This year we filed a complaint against a merchant. The merchant said that they completed services, an inspection on the boat, it was signed by the owner and it stated that he did the services. That was not true, he was not even there. So we complained to Chase because our very expensive boat does not work. Chase said that everything was done correctly. They never reached back to us and now it is affecting my credit. Chase did a terrible job communicating. They sided with a company that did not fulfill their obligations charged us for services they never did. Shame on chase.
