Horrible string of companies to have ever existed. Pure scum. First it was Sallie Mae. After being found with their hands down their pants screwing people over they restructured as Navient. Yet again history repeated itself and they became AidVantage. They have no proof of me agreeing or signing any documentation to the loan(s) that the Art Institute of Orange County fraudulently pulled out in my name. An original balance of $12,000 has turned into $32,000 over 15 years. I am a full class member part of the Sweet Vs. Cardona settlement, and these fools act like they have no idea what is going on. They are dragging their feet to accrue as much interest as possible before discharging the loan to the DoE to make every last penny at the cost of hundreds and thousands of innocent people's time and credit. Again, pure scum.

I paid off 7 of my 11 accounts with Navient. I have the paid in full letter dated November 17, 2021. Yesterday, May 31, 2023, I noticed that one of the paid in full accounts is back. The website shows I am 19 payments behind and I owe almost $25,000. I have called 3 times about this and I was told each time that they do not control the website. I am so frustrated with this company. The more I pay, the worse it gets. I have never missed a payment on those 4 remaining accounts yet my payments are going up. When I ask about that, I am told, "You owe so much." The lawsuit against them was not enough. I experienced their predatory behaviors but didn't benefit from the class action suit. I really wish they would sell my loans to someone else at this point.

Negative five stars to Navient and Sallie Mae! They harassed and lied about programs available and only stuttered when I mentioned income driven repayment or other payment options. They harassed my family when it is written in the government legislation they were not allowed to. They raised my set interest rate two points when my accounts were transferred from Sallie Mae to Navient on loans which had a set interest rate. If they had a flag representing them, I would be burning it. Good riddance to you! I intend to further my education. I will be looking to education outside the USA. I feel it is no longer a place to call home or feel safe or feel free or to achieve a dream. This hurts my very soul. Why aren't the real criminals actually punished in this country?? Instead, they continue to reap their profits off the working classes. Revolution is in the air. Companies such as these kill the American dream. How do we fix this? Follow the countries of better education and make it free. An investment in our shared dream of a better life.

Navient uses multiple phone numbers to try and call people constantly. I have 4 phone numbers on file on my phone that I have blocked but they keep coming back with a new phone number. I yelled at the last called to stop calling and all I got was a hang-up. Nothing else. Just a hang-up. There is marketing and their is harassment. Shut it down

I could be doing anything else right now, but I am taking the time to provide feedback that your team desperately needs.

Your system of payment is idiotic. I cannot understand how your system does not speak to any downstream processes when a user has post-dated a payment.

Why is it that even after post-dating a payment, your company continues to call me RELENTLESSLY for payment?!

DOES ANY TEAM IN YOUR COMPANY SPEAK TO THE OTHER TEAMS?

Here, I'll make it super simple for you.

Feature - When a user sets up payment, LEAVE USER ALONE

When a user misses a payment, logs in to Navient, and sets one up, your main dashboard should log that successful payment setup by sending it to all downstream systems, ensuring THAT EVERYONE THAT NEEDS TO KNOW A PAYMENT IS SET UP KNOWS!!!!!!!

      Lisabeth M.

Attempted to establish and update my online information in order to access my information. They would not answer and my phone shows the number of times Navient's number was dialed. They refuse to help set up a new account so that I can pay my bill online, which is what I was trying to do.

I can't believe they are allowed to get away with this.

My credit score was impacted in a negative way. I had made payments to Navaint however, the payments went to Aid advantage. My credit score dropped drastically and credit card holders reduce my credit limits dilute to the negative reporting.!I have been trying to get this resolved and no one is willing to assist me.
Aid advantage refunded the payments and I have paid off the private loan but the damage has been done.
The customer service reps are a joke ant Navaint and something needs to be done. Right now!!!

The most predatory and evil of all loan institutions. They are truly vile in their practices and care only about taking as much as they can. This company deserves nothing more than bankruptcy, and it's executives deserve serious jail time for their crimes against society. At this point what they're doing is theft. At this point they are merely stealing and plotting to steal future wages from current students. The most greedy crooks to ever get into the loan business. It's absolutely disgusting. Anyone who justifies what they're doing is a barely human scumbag who has a monumental flaw in judgement.
I HATE Navient and everyone associated with it. Hands down the most cruel people I have ever dealt with.
Just do everyone a favor and close your doors for good.

My only advice to people considering using Navient is, RUN!!!!!! THEY WILL BLEED YOU DRY!

Navient will absolutely refuse to work with you. They offered to do a monthly expense form.with me. After telling them how much I make per month, and how much my expenses are, they noticed that my monthly expenses are more than I make each month (due to a divorce I went through, medical issues and my father being diagnosed with stage 4 cancer). Rather than understanding or offering to work with me, they actually suggested that I STOP paying my credit card and utility bills and give Navient the money instead. They also suggested that I take out a personal loan so I can pay Navient. They call me on average at least once every 2 hours. When they ask me how much I can pay them, I tell them I can afford maybe $20. They put me on hold only to return stating that they won't accept less than $180. So they won't even take the little bit of money that I can spare. They have lied to me multiple times in order to get as much money from me as they can, with the promise that it will bring both of my accounts to "current". No more than 48 hours later, they begin calling non stop again asking for even more money, even after being told that my accounts will be current for the next 30 days. They are now contacting my father and asking "do you know where your son is?" Or "why is your son not answering his phone?" I don't even know if it's legal to ask those types of questions. Either way, this is by far the worst, most cold hearted, difficult and UNETHICAL company that I have ever had any sort of contact with. Seriously, they really told me to stop paying my electric bill so I can pay them instead. I'm sorry, but I'm a single father and my 4 kids having electricity is more important than your greed. Because of Navient's neglect and unethical practices, going to college is one of my biggest regrets of my life. It's unfortunate to say that. But, the harassment, carelessness and unethical practices is NOT WORTH IT.
I hope this helps someone stay away from this insanely terrible company.

I have dealt with Navient for quite some time. They do not complete paperwork in a timely manner and I believe this to be deliberate in order to profit from their own mistakes. I have applied to consolidate my loans after I applied for an IBR due to an injury that greatly decreased my taxable income. While talking to NSLP my loan guarantor, I told them Navient was adding fees. I was informed they aren't supposed to be doing that at all. It has added 150.00 dollars to the payment. It's been over a month and they haven't even started the IBR. As of Monday I plan to talk to the US Department of Education and file whatever complaints I can. This company needs to be dissolved.
