ZERO STARS. DO NOT BOOK WITH THIS COMPANY. On or around March 28, I believed I was booking directly through the official website of a well known hotel. dThe website’s design and layout made it appear to be the hotel’s official site. I was charged $579.65—well above the hotel’s actual rate—and after completing the transaction:

I did not receive any email confirmation.

I called the company, but no one ever answered.

I quickly became suspicious that I had been scammed and immediately canceled the reservation

Despite this, the company still charged me in full and now claims that only the actual hotel can authorize a refund. When I contacted Guest Reservations, I was transferred to a third-party call center and told again that it was “out of their hands.”

This practice—masquerading as an official booking site, charging inflated prices, and denying refunds—feels predatory and appears designed to exploit customers who may not realize they're dealing with a third party until it’s too late.

DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY.

This is a scam company they had the prices of a hotel room in Mexican pesos but when process the payment was in dollars and the amount was the double of a normal stay at the hotel they processed the payment even after I cancel the code bank confirmation and did not wanted to refund the cancellation fee even after calling 5 min later .

This site is extremely misleading and feels like a scam. It mimicked the actual hotel’s website so closely that I thought I was booking directly with the hotel. The non-refundable fees were not clearly disclosed, and I had no idea I had even been charged them until I saw the total charge on my credit card. This kind of deceptive design and lack of transparency is unethical and borders on fraudulent. I would strongly advise others to avoid using this site—book directly with the hotel instead to avoid being taken advantage of.

This company is HORRIBLE to deal with! I have been trying to receive a refund of a hotel reservation since April 27th and NO ONE will help or take accountability to handle this properly. In the meantime, I have a thousand dollars on my credit card. Everything about this experience has been terrible from the get go. DO NOT BOOK WITH THEM!

Guest reservations double charged my credit card. They also said the room was 200 a night and for two nights it was 639.08, because they tacked on a bunch of unknown fees. I tried to tell them they double charged me so they said they would give me a courtesy and refund? Ridiculous because it is not legal what they did. Then they said it would have to go to a 4 th party partner who they were unable to divulge. He refused to return the double charge. We thought we had gone to the Hyatt regency website because this scammer came up when we plugged in Hyatt regency. Please do not use Guest Reservations they are a scamming agency. You can book a year in advance and get sick and die and they will not refund you. They should be brought up on charges. It is an awful awful site

I thought I was booking directly through the Nugget Casino Resort’s official website after clicking on a Google ad that showed a URL like nuggetcasinoresort.guestreservations.com. It turns out that this was actually GuestReservations.com, a third-party booking site affiliated with Priceline—not the hotel itself. The ad was extremely misleading.

Unfortunately, I accidentally selected the wrong date for my reservation. When I realized the mistake, I immediately tried to fix it. I spent nearly two hours on the phone—first with GuestReservations.com, and then with the Nugget Reno hotel directly. Neither was able (or willing) to change the date or issue a refund, even though it was a genuine mistake and I reached out promptly.

GuestReservations offered no flexibility, no solution, and no real customer service. The hotel couldn’t help because the booking wasn’t made directly through them. In the end, I was stuck paying for a reservation I couldn’t use.

This experience felt manipulative and predatory. I would strongly advise others to avoid booking through GuestReservations.com. Always double-check the URL before making a hotel reservation—these sponsored ads are designed to mislead.

If I could give a minus 10 stars, I would. I went to Hilton.com to make reservations and thought that is who I made them with. Upon check in when I asked for the reduced group price, I was told my reservation was made through a 3rd party. I did wonder why I never got a confirmation beyond the very first one. I was charged $280 for a room that should have been $159 at the special rate, but not over $250 as stated on their door. They scam you by intercepting where you are trying to get a reservation with their generic name which makes you think you are still on the hotel website. Nothing Hilton could do, not even provide a receipt, because "third party reservation" they said. And they do not respond to emails about getting a receipt. Never again. And beware, it's clearly any hotel they hack through.

This business engages in predatory sales practices that should be illegal in the in the United States. They charge fees that are outrageous and they do a very impressive job of falsely parading as a legitimate hotel website while ripping off hard working people. Please discredit these absolute scumbags.

Beware of Guest Reservations and Holiday Inn Express in Niles, Michigan

I want to warn you about a misleading booking experience I recently encountered with Guest Reservations and the Holiday Inn Express in Niles, Michigan.

I reserved a hotel room through a website that appeared to be the official Holiday Inn Express Niles page. The site prominently stated that I had until April 20 to cancel for free. However, when I received my confirmation email, it came from "Guest Reservations," a company I had not knowingly booked with.

When I attempted to cancel my reservation well before the stated deadline, the phone number provided only led to an automated message informing me that the booking was non-refundable—despite what the website originally advertised. The only options given were to either keep the reservation and pay or cancel and still pay.

Upon calling the actual Holiday Inn Express in Niles, the hotel clerk stated that they couldn’t assist me because the reservation had been made through Priceline. At no point had I knowingly interacted with Priceline, adding to the confusion.

This whole experience was deceptive and misleading. If you are booking accommodations, be extremely cautious with Guest Reservations and the Holiday Inn Express in Niles, Michigan.

Total scam. This is company is not affiliated with any of the hotels they quote. I made mistake when searching for a room at Holiday Inn. Thought I had selected the IHG link, but was overcharged $200 for the one night and would not allow cancelation.
