9/8/2022 I had a tooth extracted by ****************, support staff said it was not covered by my insurance. I paid them $239.00. I later called my insurance company and was told it was a covered service. I attempted to file a claim to be reimbursed by the insurance company but it was considered to be a duplicate claim because ********* had filed for the office visit and x-rays. *********** instructed ********* to refill claim and then refund my money. ********* was paid $318.00 on check #******** which has been applied. I have been unable to get reimbursement. I have either spoken to or left messages at least 6 times and I can not get an answer about a reimbursement. I left another message today requesting a call back from customer service. I have not been able to reach anyone that will give me an answer.Customer Answer

Receiving threats to turn a $500 bill over to the credit bureau.

I am having services at Greenberg by Bee Ridge rd , with dentist R**** , we've been trying to have my dental insurances process claims , they have denied , however per offices i owe over 3,000 , i need details of how it comes up to that amount , per my eobs amounts due dont match , they are asking me for 1600 up front , and then i can make payments , then they say no more payment plans arent allowed at offices . My temporary bridges crack , obviously thats why they are temporary . I dont pretend to have services done free for me , and i would pay whats fair .i said i don't have money now , unacceptable from offices. I work billing hospital claims , there are ethics , empathy and compassion . This week my temporary came off and they wanted to charge me 250.00 , Roque didn't take care of me , i guess because im being a pain . I know business is business, but we also have to be more humans more understanding, i want my records so i can find another provider . offices will lose customers not having payment plans , mostly all dentists do . I have many other health issues , very serious , reason why i don't have 1600 to give immediately , its my problem i know , but this where we would appreciate empathy . I also see different amounts billed to my second insurance, i need a detailed breakdown of both , payments and correct amount due . I agreed to have these tooth cemented, how they looked , however 250 to recement them ? I fought that charge and was billed 15.00 but they weren't cemented , just glued , i don't let them crack on purpose . They are losen again , i know they will be annoyed if i go one more time .

I took my daughter to get her braces done at Greenberg dental at Semoran Blvd., near the Orlando Intl Airport. When she got evaluated I advised them that I will be switching dental insurances due to a change in my work situation. I asked them if that will be an issue, and they told me not as long as they are in the network of the new insurance. When I got the new insurance I advised the person at the front desk of their office. She took a picture of my new insurance card and updated the information in their computer system. At this point, the employee at their office tells me that my insurance will not cover her braces. Prior to going on this appointment I did in fact communicate with my new insurance carrier. I confirmed directly with them that with my plan they do cover the braces, as long as the dental office being used is in their network of providers. All they need to do is process the claim for the services to be provided. And yes, this specific office is an in-network dental office. I asked the employee at Greenberg why my daughter's braces were not covered, and she told me they just denied the claim. I called the insurance provider while I was there at the dental office, and they informed me that they have not received any claims or treatment plans for my daughter's treatment from this office. I proceeded to inform the lady, at which point she changed the story. Now she was telling me that they will not cover, that they haven't billed them yet. I asked her to please send the billing information requested by the insurance so they can process claim. Since then I have been calling the billing office leaving detailed messages in reference to this issue yet they refuse to bill the insurance. Now they want to upcharge me and re-do the contract without even trying to bill the company. Please stay away from this location. They use deceptive tactics to try and make you pay everything out of your own pocket when you have Insurance. I need to have this resolved ASAP,Business Response

The patient was contacted by the orthodontic billing department. She provided us with the new insurance information and everything is being submitted. It was explained to her how her specific plan works with orthodontic treatment and she understood. We will wait for the insurance to process the claim and respond.

I Spoke with my insurance provider today, Greenberg Dental send them the treatment plan on 10/12/22. Hector from billing department at my insurance told me they were going to deny the claim due to the lack of documentation they received from them. Greenberg Dental is using this tactic of not sending all supporting information so that my company can deny payment and I will become responsible for paying 100 percent out of my pocket.

Patient spoke with the ortho billing rep again. It was explained to her that all necessary information was sent to the insurance and as of today there was not final decision on the claim. She is being provided with the patient xrays, photos and all other documentation so that she may appeal the claim with her insurance company.

I spoke to the agent at the insurance company. He informed me that what Greenberg provided them was not enough. The insurance company needs xrays and a treatment plan which was NOT submitted by Greenberg's office. I then spoke to Greenberg's billing department and requested that they send me the information that they claim to have sent to my insurance. The lady at Greenberg's billing department said she would email me the information. It hasn't been sent to me at this time yet. I need that so that I can put the package together and send it to the insurance company myself.
