I tried to buy *** membership online , I paid ***** $ but I never received any card or membership number . this is scam and I want ny money backBusiness Response

We spoke to this customer this morning and he is all taken care of now. We were able to assist him in activating his membership and we also did a courtesy refund for all the trouble they have had. He let us know that he is all good here and happy now. We have attached the document showing the refund for the customer as well. Please let us know if you need anything else.

I purchased a Windows 11 Pro license from ********************** (owned by Major Rocket) as it was linked through my work benefits program (Beneplace). However they key does not work. The email that contained the key was clearly fishy and it appears that Major Rocket is running a scam to sell you fake software keys.Business Response

This order was cancelled and refunded as the customer requested when we emailed him and we have attached the document showing this as well. I purchased a **************** home and business 2021 plan through this company via Groupon. I got an email for this offer and asked a few tech friends and they were told it was legit. Come to find out after the fact it is in fact a scam and the company ghosts you once you begin asking questions. Ive contacted them so many times Ive lost count and the last emails were from June 2024. They completely left me hanging. Im out $39.99 and Im angry because they likely did this to countless unsuspecting people who need this program for their work or business.Customer Answer

My employer uses ADP. ADP has a benefit called LifeMart which provides discounts on various things. On LifeMart, there was a discount for 80% off a Windows 11 Pro license. It directed me to this site:************************************************************ From there, I proceeded with the purchase via Venmo and paid this company over $40 after tax. I got Windows 11 on my PC and entered the license, but ********* is saying it is not a genuine or valid license key. However, Launching Deals website even says "Offer made possible by an authorized ********* Partner" on the top of the page. This is a blatant lie and scam. I only trusted it since it was through ADP.Business Response

I ordered the **************** for Home and Professional 2021 (Mac edition) on July 29th 2024. I paid via ****** $72.88. I received an email with a link to download and install the software. When I clicked on the link, I was presented with a load of banners, warning me that my computer was locked up and a trojan had been installed. It was also instructing me to call "Apple Support" with a number. This is extremely annoying as I assumed the email came from a reputable company. However, after reading the complaints on this site, It looks like I am not the only person who has had trouble with this company. I have already raised the issue with ****** but decided to leave a complaint on the BBB to hopefully stop others being scammed.Business Response

Got a gift card from nift.com. chose triple aaa membership. Took my ***** usd but doesn't let me register with my address. I wish they have confirmed first with the address before taking my money. Scam. I was offered a Triple A membership for $35 and paid the amount on June 3, 2024. Then, for some reason, I could not complete the enrollment. Then I would get these emails saying to complete enrollment, follow the link, but the link would take me to a new signup requesting another $35.I contacted the company, and the only email provided was nothing.The $35 was posted and taken from my account.This company is a scam, offering a service or membership, taking payment for it from me, the consumer, and then not providing the service or membership or refunding the money.The company has Launching Deals as the business name on website but on the same website the actual operators Major Rocket is listed with the address *******************************************************Business Response
