1 starCompletely disappointed since they allow the claim to be opened online even if the service is not covered and collect the non refundable deductible. It happens with me when technician showed up to tell me that the spring of my garage is not covered. Also in the service agreement is stated that attic fan is covered and they opened a claim when I called the phone to report that my is broken. The next day they called me to inform me that it is not covered despite that it is specified in the plan. I tried to schedule AC routine maintenance in June but the online service told me that it is outside of the season and can not be scheduled despite I don't see any information when it can be scheduled. I consider this service more of a fraud than a real service and cancel my subscription.Review fromEsma K

1 starMy fridge stopped working / freezing 4 weeks ago. I filed a claim with Cinch home warranty , they charged me $ 100 deductible. My food spoiled. Week later ********** came stated there is a leak and put the freon and left. Week later fridge stopped working again after Freon leaked.again all my food got spoiled. I reopened claim and again waited for a tech . Second ********** came week later, diagnosed that fridge needs to be replaced but warranty company told me that tech told them he had no tools. They arranged again for 3rd tech came out.this tech stated compressor went out and that he will be back when part is here. Yesterday , tech company called me and told me that in order for them to replace the part i need to remove fridge from the house to the yard as its dangerous to replace compressor in the house as it could explode. And refused to come. It seems Cinch is trying to avoid paying money to replace the fridge. I am paying my bill for warranty for years now and i am very frustrated that i can not get any help. If i dont get a help i have no choice but to file a suit. I will cancel my warranty once this issue is resolved and would not recommend anyone to use them. The Worst experience, worst company ever. *****Review fromWanda F

1 starI am leaving one star because it is a required field for a review. When I was growing up and even when I started my family, ***** was once the best company to purchase appliances and repair those purchases. Products were good; employees were trustworthy; repair service was top notch. Today, Cinch Home Services DOES NOT even stand by their own warranty. When you hold them accountable, they buckle every single time. They replaced a part of my range; one function triggers something else - a hazard by any means. Tech told us he recommended the unit would be replaced and we have not heard from them. I had to initiate reopening the case for nearly three weeks on the next steps and until then, crickets. They kept putting me on calls for the appointment that had occurred...yes, really like being in a twilight zone. It has been pulling teeth to get this company to uphold their part of the service agreement contract. If you need a second opinion on one tech's job, then say that but DO NOT play games with mincing words and sending customers on a chase to execute the contract as written and paid for in the "agreement". I have to take off from work to be home and the tech with heavy accents DO NOT either understand what is being said; ignoring the customer because they have a script and are being told to follow that no matter what; just do not care; or all of the above. You CANNOT expect a robot to interface with human beings for good customer ********************** to fully understand the situation. Some of the techs referenced DO NOT seem to even have a ounce of understanding the customer. Someone needs to investigate this company for potential fraud and abuse of customers.Review fromToni S

1 starBUYER BEWARE. I have been a customer for 2 years and have had 2 requests for service. Both requests were very disappointing due to the time it takes them to find a technician, set an appointment, diagnose the issue and perform repairs. When I say time- each requests took 2-3 weeks. They failed to meet customer expectations, they have no customer **********************.. you can send an email in hopes that someone will respond, and they cannot seem to contract with anyone that can provide next day or even next week service.I however had no issue getting next day service when I made direct contact with a service provider.Review fromJill K

1 starI have a ***** extended warranty through Cinch. The service is the worst I have experienced. My gas oven stopped working on May 12, 2025. I called *****/Cinch and received a service date of 5/15, 8am-5 pm. I got a call from a technician around 4:30 pm, telling me he couldn't come, complaining of traffic and his hard day. I received a text confirming a new date of 5/19. On 5/19, I received a text from "******* your ** virtual assistant from ***** Home Services . . due to unforeseen circumstances, we will not have a technician available today . . . " and offering times to reschedule. I was cancelled with the same message on 5/20. On 5/21, the technician arrived, diagnosed the issue as being the igniter, and ordered the part. He scheduled installation for 6/3. I received the part in just a few days, so I got a text offering an earlier installation date. I chose 5/30. ** ******* contacted me again, same unavailability message. I was cancelled again on 6/3, 6/6, 6/11, and 6/18. I called to complain multiple times, changing the reason for my call to get out of the ** loop to speak with a representative. I asked, but was not given a direct number, so I have to work around to get a live person. My case was escalated, but I have had to call to demand earlier service (still cancelled), get refunds, and cancel my contract (but paying the final month). I was not refunded $100 for the technician coming out, but have been told I was not charged for my **** contract payment and will be given $209.48 toward my own technician, who will do his own diagnosis and order the part. They insist I return their part, whether they start over with a non ***** technician or use my own. I have not received the promised emails (as of 6/18) and only one promised call. My own technician is coming today and will order the part. It could be fixed today, if I could use the ***** part. I asked for a name and address to whom I could direct a complaint, but was told the information was not available.Review fromMeousha S

2 starsI have used Cinch Home Warranty several times in the past with no complaints.I needed service on my washer, the repair person came on 5/19/25 and told us the issue and reported that he had to order parts and that someone would contact me within 48hrs. That did not happen. I have called several times been put on hold and been told someone would call me back which never happened. I finally was told that my parts were ordered. I asked for tracking and was unable to get it. I called Whirlpool Corporate and was able to find out that the serviceman that was sent from a business 45 minutes from my home. I called them and asked for tracking on my parts and they where unable to tell me and was supposed to call me back. I received an email from Whirlpool stating that my parts where ordered 6/10. My service information is not updated on the website as of today. The service people that have repaired my appliances in the past though Cinch have been great. I have been without my Washing Machine for 5 weeks and not happy about it. I hope Cinch never sends this Service Company to my house again. They are horrible and they are going to cause Cinch to loose customers. My Daughter has bought an ********************** from this business and the experience was a nightmare.Review fromDebbie H

1 starIf you want a warranty stay away from Cinch Home Services. I have been dealing with a warranty claim for approximately 5 months. They hire subpar service contractors. ATY Services is horrible. They speak almost 0 English so its hard to communicate. They have been out five times, replaced three parts. Said the unit was fixed. It wasnt. It never has been fixed. So they scheduled a different contractor. Contractor said he would get back with Cinch which I know he did. Cinch is telling me that the same company has to come out again when it is known what is wrong, but theyre telling me that they need to come back out again. ( I do not fault the replacement contractor on any of this. That is not right. It as apparent that Cinch is in the business of giving their customers the run around. The Word Salads that they spew out about how We know how important it is to have your appliance working means If they truly did no one would have to deal issues like this. I know I had the same problem with my AC. I have lost time having to be off work, losing all the food in my freezer, as well as, multiple multiple times on the phone with Cinch. Just honestly stay away from Cinch. If you decide otherwise dont say you werent forewarned.Review fromPaul V

1 starI have been a customer for several years, never missed a payment. Cinch linked me with a non-accredited company (EMS Home Services) to repair my A/C. I've paid $1300 out of pocket and have been waiting in the heat for 3 weeks for my repair. I finally got the repair scheduled for Sunday 6/8; the technician never showed up and never called. Of course I couldn't call them because they only have one phone line and it's closed on Sunday. When I contacted them on Monday, no one could tell me why my repair was cancelled. Monday night I got a text saying the technician would arrive on Tuesday 6/10 between 8am and 12pm. I called to get an *** and they told me the technician was at the warehouse picking up the part and was on his way to my home. 2 hours later I get a call saying the technician is sick and they don't know when they can reschedule my appointment. I've been in contact with Cinch but of course they can't give me any information either because they are limited to the same phone number I have; well at least that's what they've told me. This is unacceptable. I've blocked time away from work and family on 3 occasions now with no success, just wasted time and lost revenue. Seems as though Cinch would better vet these companies they put us in contact with. The crazy thing is I could have taken care of this myself in 3-5 days at around the same price or less which makes me wonder what good is this warranty?
