1 starCinch Home Services is worthless. They administer the ***** Home Warranty. They sent an incompetent repairman who said he needed to order parts for my microwave *********** He did not even troubleshoot it. Since there are no parts available, the warranty said they would submit to replace my microwave. After 2 months and the run-around, I cancelled my warranty so as not to pay them another dollar and fixed it myself with a $2.00 fuse thanks to ******** A year of premiums and a 75 dollar service fee got me nothing. They do not make it easy for you to talk to a human to follow up. You have to say "cancel" on the automated telephone system for it to transfer you to a person. DO NOT BUY A ***** HOME WARRANTY!!Review fromMartha R

1 starIf I could put no stars I would. I had the worst experience with these plumbers that came out from this company. The first day they came out the plumber lied to me and said that he had to go buy a part would return to fix my toilet. and he never came back, when I called the office, they said that he had gone out and had to go order the part yet he never had the decency to call me and tell me that he was no longer going to show up that day. The next thing was that they came back to fix my original problem, which was stoppage and flooding in my master bathroom , when they came back to fix the toilet issue, they literally broke off a piece of my toilet, and they still wanted me to pay for a new toilet when they had broken it. Yes, my toilet supposedly was messed up but it was not broken when they came in to fix it. As of now, I still haven't had any resolve with Cinch and this has been months ago. I feel like I do not need to pay for the toilet, especially because they plumbers they sent out to me broke thr piece off. Cinch is saying that I need to pay for a new toilet, because my toilet was messed up prior to them breaking it. With our family using ***** and I cannot believe that ***** is affiliated with the company that has no integrity and does not want to do the right thing!Review fromLeila W

1 starI also had the world's worst experience with this company. I tried for 6 months to get someone to cancel the policy and I kept getting the run around. I finally cancelled the credit card to which it was associated. They called me numerous times to tell me I needed to update my credit card information but the person I would get on the phone when I called back would claim they could not cancel it and would transfer me to someone else who also was the wrong person until the 10th time when I finally got someone who made me pay to make the policy current before I could cancel it. I cannot believe ***** pushes their product. Don't go there!Review fromDiane V

1 starI have paid for this service for over 15 (when it was Total Protect) years. The last item I tried to service turned into a nightmare. I have been fighting with this ********** company for over a year because they refuse to send qualified technicians to my home. My washer is not fixed and they told me today there is nothing wrong with it even though it is still throwing water out of the barrel onto my sensors and locking it up for days. Today I finally had enough and canceled my policy. What a complete waste of money. This company should just tell you they do not have qualified people who service your items and be done with it. What a joke.Review fromJohn P

1 starWe have a ***** Home Warranty "powered by Cinch". Worst customer ********************** I have ever seen. I challenge any customer to get to a live person to discuss thier service order. Cinch has made a concerted effort to deceive customers on a systematic scale. The customer ********************** numbers are "answered" by ** Robots that send you down the road of loops and press 1 for this and that but you never get anywhere. Then they say if you have a problem log on and chat with an agent. I logged on to the chat and the agent reffered me back to the customer ********************** number ( which is the ** robot loop from above) and they said that is the only option! Really dissapointing service. ***** name for quality and service really went down when they allowed this to happen. Pine for the days of Kenmore or Craftsman Quality! If you have nothing to hide and not scamming people why can you never get to a live person that can resolve the problem either way!Review fromMichael R

1 starDO NOT USE CINCH!!! We stupidly believed Cinch was an honest company but now realize that they are both sub-standard and dishonest. Our HVAC broke down. We started a claim on a Thurs night and paid the deductible. Cinch issued a service provider who made an appt for Fri but then xled right before the appt window. We called Cinch who gave us #2 who said they couldnt service our unit. We live in a hi-rise condo and the condenser is on the roof, so smaller companies cannot service it. A 3rd company was issued and they couldnt do it either. A 4th company was called and they came on Sat, diagnosed it had to be replaced but then reported to Cinch on Mon that they couldnt do the job either. A 5th company claimed they could do it, then missed their Tues appt and then never picked up the phone or contacted us back.By Wed, with no heat in our condo we started asking for escalation. Cinch skirted around trying to contact providers on their list who might be able to do the job.On Wed I called around and got 2 hi-rated cos to come by w/in 2 hours and give estimates. Both told me what I suspected all along - that Cinch only geta low ball, low cost providers who cant do complicated jobs - good for handling appliances, not HVAC, plumbing or electrical.By Thurs, no heat still, Cinch is still going in circles. Our contract clearly says that if they are unable to find an in-network provider that they would offer to use an out-of-network one but at no point have they ever mentioned that possibility. And one CS agent says that in either case, they would only pay $1500 of the work anyway. Anyone who has ever done this knows that a full HVAC is at minimum $5000+ plus labor. But they sure took care of canceling our claim super quick. Theyd rather kick it under a rug and make it seem like they handled the issue. We made sure they knew that we had a 7y/o child in the apartment. They certainly didnt care. Cinch is completely unprofessional and a complete waste of money.Review fromSanjeev Q

1 starI will never do business with this company again. They are ok taking your premium (I paid for 24 months), but if u need them, they will make it so hard for you to use. Very hard to get someone on the phone.Web interface very hard to use.You will end up spending many many hours on the phone that you will give up and get your own person to fix the issue, and now you are wondering why you are paying them the premium. Then you want to cancel, and they play games there as well and dont cancel easily. I had to call them 4 different times and each time I spent about 90 minutes on the phone. Never going back to this company againReview fromDennis J

1 starWorst service ever! It is now January 18, 2023, and the claim that I filed in July 2022 for ** not cooling has still not been completed!! CINCH referred the work to a local company who told me that the necessary part for repair was on backlog. As of this date, nobody from that company or from CINCH has bothered to contact us with any updates. B**KGROUND From June 2022: CINCH sent ***** out to repair the system. The technician found that the unit was low on coolant and filled it with coolant. He told me that he could not identify the source of the leak. In August I called since back because the unit was not cooling effectively. Cinch sent ***** back out again, and that technician stated that the system could not be repaired and needed to be replaced. A week later I had not heard from Cinch so I followed-up with them and was told that the ***** technician did not provide enough detail as to why the unit could not be repaired. Cinch sent ***** back out again to assess the unit and a different technician stated that the unit needed to be replaced. Another week goes by and nothing from Cinch so I contact them again. This time I am told again that the ***** technician did not provide enough information and they will send a different company out to assess the system. Yesterday I called Cinch back again and was told that the unit would be replaced but that there were costs not covered by my plan and the replacement could not proceed until I agreed to non-covered charges. I was told that I would receive a call from the local company that will replace the unit. I have not been contacted by anyone. Even trying to discuss issues with Cinch customer ********************** results in being transferred to 2 or 3 different individuals, and wait times of over an hour, with no resolution! Once the ** unit is finally replaced, I am definitely going to cancel this service!!Review fromAlyssa M.

1 starI would give them no stars if I could. I paid my $140 deductible and no one was sent to my home when my furnace stopped working. I waited 3 days! Then they stated their are no service providers in my area that I can hire my own and they will reimburse me. They specifically stated that the $140 deductible would be put back on my card in 3-5 business days. After that I submit all of the proper documentation for the reimbursement for the services I paid the furnace company. I never got my $140 deductible back on my card. When I called customer ********************** all he kept saying was that it wasnt processed yet. I asked when it would be processed and why it would not processed. He said I dont know and as soon as possible you will get it. I AM STILL WAITING and need my $140 back. Very unprofessional, no empathy, etc. Do NOT get a home warranty through Cinch!Review fromMichael P

1 starI would leave 0 stars if I could. This is literally the worst company I have ever dealt with. They dont communicate anything to you. If you want any information or updates, you have to call customer **********************. Every time you call you get someone who has no idea what they are doing. They dont have any information and you end up spending 45 minutes to an hour while they try to get you the information you need from some other department. Because of their lack of communication and slow processes, you end up waiting forever to get your money. They tell you 7 to 10 business days but it is always way more. This is after they dont have any contractors thatll come to your house because they dont have any in your area. The absolute worst.
