I tried in October 2021 to cancel my coverage because I could never get them to answer the phone. I never used the service because of this. When I finally spoke to someonee they said it was due to covid19. At that time I wanted to cancel. I wrote a letter to the company stating I was canceling. The letter stated there would be NO further with drawals for this service. The letter was mailed on 10/31 along with talking to that person that said covid is the delay. I called in November, December and again today, January to say they took the money from my mortgage and i want it stopped. When I called the mortgage company they said they can't do anything. I called the company again and said I wanted a refund or speak to a supervisor The agent would not give me any phone #s to speak with someone. He said he was following procecures. I asked about the procedures that was in writing. Nothing he can do. Would I reccommend this company - definitely NOT.

Definitely need a -0 not worth 1 star at all! This company is a scam, they are horrible. Customer Service was unacceptable, I was told they have one plumber for the state of Colorado. I let them know it was an emergency plumbing issue they said they would discuss it and call me later in the day to tell me if they would reimburse me if I paid out of my pocket. What a joke! They took my deposit even before talking to me about the issue. Why am I paying for this service when I cannot get what you need from them? I immediately canceled my contract and will tell everyone I know never to use this company. I am a little shocked that our mortgage company is advertising cinch, I let them know what I thought also. Very disappointing and wish there was a true company out there looking out for homeowners.

Calling to cancel my policy today. This is the most unprofessional, unorganized, incompetent, scamming home warranty company Ive experienced since being a homeowner. Reported an issue in November 2022 and as of today I still have an issue thats not completely fixed after giving them a $210 deductible. My husband and I have been calling them weekly since they sent what was supposed to be a recommended plumbing service to our home to fix a plumbing issue. They claim to have issues contacting the first person sent to our home, Ive had issues reaching them as well ( they only communicate through text messages). They attempted to send out another company they never showed up after confirming two dates with Cinch. The third contractor came out to our home, accessed the issue, saw the mistakes that the first plumber made and stated he has to submit the issues with Cinch and once they approve it he will be back. Its 1/9/23 and Im still waiting. Every time we call its as if they have no real knowledge of what our issue was, what company they sent out or ways of getting in contact with the contractor/company. So after this post Ill be calling them to cancel service !!! Dont let this company bamboozle you like they did me and every other person whos left a review. If zero stars was an option thats what they would have got !!

I have tried for the last year to cancel Cinch Home Services by phone and email and have never received a response. This company continues to withdraw money from my checking account no matter how many times I contact them to cancel.

My washer has been serviced/diagnosed on four occasions starting 11/01/2022. As of today the ********* on 12/29/2022 said he would order a part that costs approx. $32 and be back. As of today, the part was ordered but has not shipped. I ordered the part last night and will have it this afternoon. I plan to repair myself with the help of ******** Cinch says they will reimburse me the cost of the part the repair but, I doubt it. I plan to cancel the plan (oh but that will cost me $149.00) and just take my chances with my appliance repairs. Don't sign up for this scam. If there was a -0 (star) I would select it.

If I could give ZERO STARS, I would!!! This company is running a racket; its practices are unethical and borderline unlawful. The only time youll ever speak to someone local is when you call to sign up and pay the yearly fee. When you actually need service, youll be bounced all around the world to reps with limited english who are working with an extremely poor case management system to track the status of your claim, forcing you to spend hours each time re-explaining your issue. Ive been without a working dishwasher for 3 months now and have been calling Cinch several times a week to have it serviced. They give you the runaround to pay a claim or service and appliance. They subcontract out the work so you then are forced to also liaise with sub-par 3rd party agencies, often to no avail. If you want to actually have working appliances, and peace of mind, do yourself a favor and look elsewhere. I only wished I had read these reviews before I signed up.

I would give them a ------- star if I could. Run don't walk away from this company. They are hard to deal with and when our a/c needed to be replaced they gave us a long laundry list of what they won't pay for so we just paid to replace it ourselves. Then the dishwasher broke and it took 5 trips to get it fixed each time we are given a window of 8AM-5PM for them to come look at it. So then I called to cancel it after having them for 6 years they told me that I would have to pay $538 to cancel the dang warranty. These people are CROOKS.

would give 0 starts if I could. We had an absolutely unprofessional plumber sent to us by Cinch as the “best provider in the area”. The guy has terrible reviews from people online on yelp and other websites, with some people reporting feeling unsafe in his presence and even on the verge of calling the police to resolve the situation. Unsurprisingly, I was not happy with his work and tried to discuss the issue with him. He threatened to sue me, I paid him for his terrible and overpriced work and said I would never work with him again. Several months later, I need Cinch service again. Cinch assigns the same problematic guy to my service request. I call and asked to be reassigned to another plumber, explaining the situation above. This time, Cinch reassigned me to someone else and assured me that going forward I will be assigned to the new plumbing company. Apparently that was not the case! Fast forward several more months later, I need Cinch plumbing service again. Lo and behold, I get assigned to the same problematic plumber I complained about earlier. I call and ask them to reassign to the second plumbing company as before. this time, some customer service guy **** with employee number 53742 says: he “can’t” reassign because the problematic plumber is allegedly the “best reviewed provider” by some internal Cinch standards. I explained the earlier situation with the unprofessional plumber, the bad reviews, how last time I was able to get another company to come out, and asked again to be reassigned to someone else. The customer service guy wouldn’t budge, saying the previous customer service guy who helped me last time went against policy to help me and that he was not willing to do that being afraid to break policy. After 30 minutes on the phone, I ended up requesting to talk to his manager. The manager was not available so they said they would call me within 24 hours. What a terrible waste of time! I am shocked and dismayed with Cinch’s unprofessionalism.

If I could give a 0 I would. Tried to use cinch home warranty twice. First for a toilet that they decided wouldnt be covered because it had to have been preexisting to us moving in. Tried to prove other wise with home inspection but they wouldnt t go for it. Then I tried to use it cause I was having issues with half the house not getting heat. *** came in took the cover off the furnace said it was running fine and because we had gotten the ducts clean they must have collapsed. After he left I found he never put the cover back on. I tried calling cinch for a refund and they refused since someone came to my house. I tried explaining they didnt fix anything and since it had to do with the ducts we had gotten cleaned I was having that company come back to fix their work. When they refused to give me a refund I asked for the manager after several requests they said they would call me back and never did I called the next day and fought with them again for a manager just to be told they would call back.

Poor Customer Service. I think they need more training so that all of their reps are on the same page. On initial call the agent stated it was covered under warranty. The service provider shows up and says its not. We call Cinch and an agent stated they would issue refund once they receive the notice from the service provider that came to the house. When they receive the notice from the provider they tell us it will be 5-7 business days for the refund. We call after that time and now they saying its Non-Refundable. Wowww so why the other agents stated 1 its covered and 2 we will get our refund. When its time to pay up oh now its Non-Refundable and nothing they can do about it and point blank stated they not giving us a refund. Time to find a new warranty company ASAP! Lost trust in this company at this point!
