An absolutely awful company to work with. They care nothing for their customers, if you are getting a loan or trying to refinance your existing loan, make sure that it is not assigned to Lakeview Loan Servicing and ****************. Tried to modify an existing loan, after weeks of submitting endless amounts of paper work, they reject any attempt to work with them to find a solution, it's doubtful anyone even looked at the situation. So make sure if you're going to give you hard earned money to a company it's not ****************. Only giving one star because 0 isn't an option.Lakeview Loan Servicing, LLC

This company is abusive. I paid off my **************** mortgage two (2) days ago, on May 20, 2024, and when I call the "call center, I am already off the grid. They cannot recognize my SSN or account/loan #. Without this information, the call center will not put you through to speak to a **************** Rep or anyone. I have questions because they charged me way too much for the interest for my pay-off, but are showing a zero balance, not a credit to my balance, showing a credit to me. Also, there are other misc charges I have no idea what they are for. The payment amounts they posted to my account is less than the funds they received via wire transfer from my title company. Their Pay-off Letter figures were way off, to their benefit, & now I cannot speak to anyone in regard to how to get my overpayment of funds refunded to me. It is almost $1,000 that I was told to pay in excess and now I do not know how to get it refunded to me. After searching on the internet, I was finally able to get in touch with Lakeview's *************** after trying to get a live person on the phone, for over 2 hours, at the ***********. I finally spoke to a live person!! She is going to have **************** Rep call me..we will see! Still no phone call 3 hours later. If I do not get any resolution, I will defiitely report them to the ************************************ and file a formal complaint.Lakeview Loan Servicing, LLC

I had my loan bought by this company and they are incompetent! And I have been with them for 60 days. They paid my insurance, depleting my escrow, to my former insurer. Even though they had a new insurer - which they paid from my escrow. They threatened in multiple emails to fine me for having no insurance in place for 29 days (the fine was over close to $1000) even though I did. And even though my mortgage agreement does not have this "fine". I believe this is illegal. When I sent proof of insurance (from a previous insurer for those 29 days), they sent them a full year's insurance amount (over $4,000), even though I now had a new insurer and they had also paid them (so I am insured twice???). They completely depleted my escrow. When I called they said it was my error! And I would have to chase down the insurer who was paid in error, request a refund check, deposit that check in my account, wait for it to clear and then redeposit to them. I caught the payment the day the check was issued. Why cant they cancel the check and alert the wrong payee. Why cant they get their records completed promptly and accurately? This company is an absolute nightmare. I wish that mortgage companies could not sell my mortgage to a company who has lower star ratings. The call center has to be located in the projects! They do not care at all. It's a nightmare dealing with these customer service reps. I've delt with them more then a few times. Company is completely non-responsive and full of excuses. We have been waiting over a month for simple paperwork to assume a loan. We cannot get started due to complete incompetence and multiple excuses. No problem removing this comment or providing a positive follow up if you actually do your job or post someone I can contact that actually knows their job. If I could put zero stars I would. Our mortgage was sold and it has been a nightmare. I call and when (if) I finally get a human on the phone I can't get help- they literally say- I'm sorry I can't help you. I couldn't even get a loan number to pay the thing for weeks. I really wish it was illegal for mortgages to be sold. The letter they send says 'nothing will change' the automated voice when you call says 'nothing will change' humans-when you can get one on the phone say ' nothing will change- It does. They don't even offer the same or similar payment options as what I had previously- our mortgage has been auto-drafted bi-weekly for a decade and now that isn't an option- I'm still in the grace ****** of transferring from one company to another and I've gotten letter after letter with late fees- the first one was before I even had a loan number. They did correct the fees but it has been such a hassle. You call and ask questions - they direct you to the chat box on the website- It is an **- there is no live chat and the ** is a joke- it tells you to call-its a never ending circle.These practices are unethical at best.Lakeview Loan Servicing, LLC

I have owned my home for almost 3 years, never in my life missed a payment on any account and due to ********************'s system - auto pay was not set up even after I contacted customer service in January '24. Feb didn't get paid. I get 0 notifications about a missed payment, no email, no letter. Only notification I get is a ding in my credit. Only emails I get are marketing emails. I cannot log into the online portal even after being on the phone with customer service. They also had a data breach recently and now I get calls from salespeople ALL THE ***** The only reason I have Lakeview is because my mortgage was sold to them by another company. I will refinance as soon as possible. HORRIBLE PEOPE. RUN. I will be reporting this to Transunion and Equifax.Lakeview Loan Servicing, LLC

The incompetence on multiple levels is amazing. Even after they "escalated" the problem, they couldn't figure out how to fix it without charging me an additional $200 a month...FOR THEIR SCREW-UP!?!
