I have owned my home for almost 3 years, never in my life missed a payment on any account and due to ********************'s system - auto pay was not set up even after I contacted customer service in January '24. Feb didn't get paid. I get 0 notifications about a missed payment, no email, no letter. Only notification I get is a ding in my credit. Only emails I get are marketing emails. I cannot log into the online portal even after being on the phone with customer service. They also had a data breach recently and now I get calls from salespeople ALL THE ***** The only reason I have Lakeview is because my mortgage was sold to them by another company. I will refinance as soon as possible. HORRIBLE PEOPE. RUN. I will be reporting this to Transunion and Equifax.Lakeview Loan Servicing, LLC

The incompetence on multiple levels is amazing. Even after they "escalated" the problem, they couldn't figure out how to fix it without charging me an additional $200 a month...FOR THEIR SCREW-UP!?! This company is the worst to deal with!! If I could rate them a 0 star I would! I lost my mother 6 weeks ago and am trying to get authorization on her loan to ensure payments are made and insurance policies are updated. I have been through 5 different customer support agents, the insurance department, sent 8 emails over the past two weeks with all required documents, Death Certs, letter of testamentary, ID, etc and I can not get anyone on the phone to answer my questions nor do they respond to the emails. All the customer support agents will tell me is to send an email to the same email address for an update. The only responses I get from email are the automated ones that your email has been sent to the team of specialist to review. At this point, I would rather give up the lower interest rate and pay it off just to not have to deal with this awful company any longer! Guess I will need to start looking at legal action towards them next with my attorney since they are railroading me in gaining authorization to my mothers loan account.Lakeview Loan Servicing, LLC

After 7 years of repeated problems with this mortgage, the final straw was when they had our February and March payments in their payment department along with our escrow shortage check for over 6 weeks. We knew they had them because we had a **** tracking number but after numerous late notices they sent us a 'default and notice to accelerate' loan letter. Seeing they also would not take a phone payment so I could just cancel the uncashed checks, I ended up taking a mortgage pay off quote and paying off a 3.8% loan with funds that where making way more than that in interest ******** instead. You just can not deal with them. Then, of course, after the loan was paid off they cashed all the old "missing/lost" checks. You can bet we are chatting with an attorney. Having the embarrassment of a foreclosure filing advertise or on county record over employee negligence wasnt worth it but I was fuming when I saw those checks clear. They saw no problem with this as "they issued us an overpayment."Lakeview Loan Servicing, LLC

Unbelievably incompetent. I never shout discrimination, but in this case they made it clear and obvious. I am a female with 25 years of medical practice ( married) and amazing credit. No debt and ******* dollars to put down on an assumable loan and they said no. I would recommend you go absolutely anywhere but here for a loan. ***** and mortgage companies are begging for business right now. Don't make the mistake of picking this company. 1 starIf Lakeview Mortgage is on your list of lenders, RUN! DONT WALK, RUN AWAY as fast as you can. My mortgage was sold to them after about a year with my old mortgage lender. I had no problems with that lender. Lakeview mortgage has been trouble from the get go. Web site dashboard shows payments made, so your thinking great! Only to find out that monies are not being transfered towards a payment. So then your late on your payment. Then because your late on your payment, they suspend your checking and routing number and tell you they will only recieve a payment through a cashiers check or ************** When you try to explain your situation to literally 7 or 8 people, no progress gets done towards a catch up plan, over something that they have messed up to begin with. Worst mortgage company ever. Back in September of 2023 they changed their website. This change made it so that my payments were not being withdrawn from my account. The issue had to do with too few digits in either the account or routing number fields. Once I realized my payment wasn't deducted (about 2 weeks later), I called to get the issue resolved. That was October 2023. It is now April of 2024 and I can still not make a payment. Twice a month I waste close to an hour with thier useless customer service who promise the issue is resolved, but it never is. It's a constant battle of fighting to get late fees removed, getting my account unlocked, begging them to process my payment and take my money. Never in my life did I have to beg a company to take my money, but here I am.If interest rates weren't so high, I would refinance and get as far away from this trainwreck of a company as humanly possible.Lakeview Loan Servicing, LLC
