SADLY DISAPPOINTED. Unfortunately my kitten took off with my distant glasses and I am unable to find them which caused me to go back to the store and reorder them. I went there on 7/30/22 and reordered them. On 8/8/22 they came in and I went to pick them up, THEY WERE WRONG. They were made as computer glasses not distant glasses. I had to reorder them and they said that they would be expedited, and it has been 10 days and still no glasses (mind you they are only replacing the lense as i am using the same frame). I contacted the store and they blame went on everyone else and I was told that they were processing (still) and that I should receive them any day now. In the meantime, I have gone 3 weeks without my distance (driving) glasses due to their screw up and nothing seem to bother them, not even the frequent headaches and the inconvenience that I have been placed under due to their mistake. I was told that I would receive a call from the person that order them the second time tomorrow, and I told her that the last time that the same person told me herself that she would call the next day it never happened. I am totally disappointment with their customer service and their accountability for their mistakes. Expedited is a term used when things are suppose to happen quickly, not take your time, not do what you said you were going to do, and totally not honor your commitment in good customer service. They have lost my confidence in the company and I will never do business with them again. Unfortunately my husband has to take a day off from work tomorrow as I have a doctors appointment out of town and I am unable to drive that far due to (once again) their mistake. If you are smart, DO NOT do business with this company, I am so regretting giving them a good review the first time. I know that mistakes happen, but not resolving them quickly adds to the problem as well as passing the blame to everyone else.Stanton Optical

Reviewing your account I am able to see that your glasses were shipped from our CORP lab to the store via *** yesterday 08/17/2022 the delivery time frame to the store is usually 1 to 2 Business Days your order should be arriving to the store latest by tomorrow evening.
You can check the status of the order on our website, I will also ask the store rep to contact you as soon as they are in.

Will not return. The Doctor that I saw last year was gone. I was not aware of that when I made the appointment. I was not made aware that it was a tele-visit until I was placed in a room with a woman on a screen. She wasnt even the doctor. When she finished, an unknown doctor ****** off on my script.Stanton Optical

Our licensed refractionist have been highly trained to be able to preform your eye examination, regardless of that if you feel that your eye exam is incorrect we give you a 30 day guarantee to come back for a new eye exam with an actual Doctor at the store.

They are the least honest company I have ever dealt with. Th Sales People are liars about when you will receive your glasses and have a very nasty attitude when you ask when you can pickup your glasses I had to wait three weeks without any glasses. and they couldn't care less.This complaint is about the Stanton Optical Store in **********, **Stanton Optical

1 starIf I could give them 0 stars I would. After 3 weeks of waiting ,I go to pick up my glasses. They were wrong, lady blames her co worker for giving me wrong information, woman then tells me to pick a different pair of frames for computer glasses. I explained Im a health care worker and write as Im looking at the computer, and the ** is wrong, she explained that my new frames were not appropriate for the ** . So I requested my money back . They arent authorized to give refunds, the manager will be there tomorrow, you will need to come back then . I explained I drove an hour one way , and I will call and speak to them first thing the next morning. Ive called 6 times in 3 hours and I only get customer service dude who is Foreign and I cant understand anyway, not only Because of his accent but because I am hearing impaired and dont hear well over the phone. I cant reach ANYONE at the store, they wont answer the phone. I have filed a complaint and requested a refund. We will contact our credit card company and report them . We have not received our purchase as requested, and do not wish to do to any further business with them . DO NOT USE THESE PEOPLE. It aint worth the aggravation.Review fromElmyra K.

1 starI ordered and paid for contacts on June 30th, 2022.y order kept saying delayed... FOR A MONTH! CALLED THE MAIN NUMBER THIS PAST THURSDAY REQUESTING A REFUND.. WAS TOLD ***** HOURS IN A EMAIL SENT TO ME BY A *******************.. STILL NO REFUND. CALLED A FEW MINUTES AGO WAS TOLD I HAD TO WAIT FOR THE STORE TO CALL ME?!? THIS IS RIDICULOUS! They were great at Stanton Optical! I went to the one on Parkside Drive in Knoxville, TN. Got a great deal on my bifocals. The eye exam was virtual but went very well. I pick up my glasses today and they are perfect! Highly recommend this place. Very friendly there too.Stanton Optical

I paid CASH for glasses and a virtual eye exam. I had to do a second in person eye exam because the VIRTUAL eye exam was so far off that even the person doing my in person eye exam asked "where did they even get these numbers". I took them up on their refund policy and was told that I would get my refund in a corporate check within 30 days. Well the store doesn't even know what they are telling customers. The refund can take up to 30 BUSINESS days. So in the mean time I've spoken to every call center in every country except in the US. With no luck. They just read you the same thing until you are so fed up with them and just hang up. So I still need glasses and they have my money. Their commercial also says 2 pairs for $79, well don't hold your breath because NOBODY qualifies for that deal. I went for that deal and walked out paying $344 for 1 pair. All I want is my money back that is promised in their guarantee but they are fighting me every chance they get to NOT give me a refund.Stanton Optical

We understand your frustration regarding your eye exam and the refund.
Whenever a payment has been made in cash and a refund is not requested on the same day the order is placed the refund is done in a form of a check.
The time frame is 15 business days for the check to be processed (check is requested/cut/signed and approved from the bank), it then takes 15 business days for the check to be delivered to your address provided to us.
Upon reviewing your account we can see that you requested for a refund and it was processed at the store level 13 business days ago, therefor it is currentley in the 1st 15 business days process.

1 starCame in to have new lenses made to be put into my own older frames. Was told a price good for two weeks. Returned within two weeks to be told by Assistant Manager that price was increased anyway. Placed order regardless and paid in full. Days later, Assistant Manager calls and states that he forgot something and I had to return to store. Instead, I cancelled the order, but it seems no one there actually did cancel and issue a refund in spite of telling me that it was done. Three weeks later, after many calls where no one answered the phone or no one knew what was transpiring, finally spoke to the Manager. She stated she had processed the refund previously and my bank must be the problem. I checked with my bank and no such refund was processed at all. Now the Manager told me she would do it again. I checked with the bank that same day and the refund was processed!!! *************** seems very disorganized or possibly dishonest in treatment of customers. This series of mistakes by their staff and management gives a message that they are not trustworthy to get the orders correctly or even handle a refund when their negligence is obvious. Be aware of the poor services that are displayed and consider another business for your eye care.
