      The line is way too long at the Thrifty car rental at **************. Everyone is angry. There are only two customer representatives and each one is taking way too long. There were three customer representatives, but the third one vanished. Completely unacceptable. All the other car rental lines have 1-6 people in them. Thrifty has 30 people. Who screwed this up? I will never do this again and you shouldnt either.

      STAY FAR AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY - biggest scam ever. We booked through Expedia for $218 TOTAL. We chose a mid size SUV. They ended up giving us a **** Expedition because they did not have any more mid size SUVs in their inventory - which would have been fine except they slapped us with a Prepaid Fuel Charge - that we did NOT agree to - ended up being a $100 extra charge. In addition to that, they charged us $55 for Prepaid Tolls - again, something we did NOT agree to. Finally, they added a ******************* Supplement onto our agreement. We specifically declined the insurance option when booking because the credit card we use offers car rental insurance so we did not need it from them. When we were at the counter, the employee did not review a single item and rushed us through the process - in hindsight, that was on purpose of course so we would not catch the ** charges they sneakily added on. This was also at 2AM - we stood in line for almost 2 hours because there were only 2 employees working.To top it all off, if you try to call and speak to someone, you are given the run around with an automated system. They no doubt have designed that so you don't have the chance to talk to someone. This company is shameful and despicable. They should be shut down without question. They steal people's money and do not think twice about it. DO NOT EVER DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY.

      First of all, I didn't know that Thrifty was Hertz Car rental. Then when I got there they had no cars available for my reservation time. The time she gave me, possible available by 10 am. I was upset, because I needed to go. We asked to speak with a Manager because the Agent could not do anything, she went to the back, and she took a while, and came back and said that he was on a conference call. Ya, okay. Even though we were upset, they kept professional until the end. But when I dropped it off, she was not very friendly. I will never go there.

      Allow me to enlighten all of Hertz/Thrifty potential customers that you are trying to reach with your commercials and "feel good" posts. They just ripped me off by charging me 4x's the amount of the rental car rate. I have been trying to get a hold of someone there for the past three days to no avail. Today, after leaving a scathing review on ****** Maps leading people to their location, I was told to copy a link and I would be taken to a chat where someone would help me. After chatting with three different people (all the responses came from different people) I was asked if I could provide a photo of my original rate. When I told her no, that I had no idea it would be necessary to do such a thing, I was quickly told "I am sorry, without that we are unable to further advise - ******" WHAT???? Don't rent from this company. They are scammers. This was just ONE of the things that happened with this whole incident. My whole experience started off with them making me wait (with many others) TWO HOURS for my car. I got off my plane and had somewhere to be and they made me late....with no apology or compensation to make it right. This place is a joke.

      Thrifty is the only place that I go to every time I go theres only one person whos actually working and not just one spot- I see him working like 4 places at once well other employees are on their phone or talking to each other Sad that this awesome employee (*****) has nobody providing teamwork ***** thank you for always being so helpful and kind. I wish that I could bring you to my company where you would have the respect and teamwork that you deserve. Keep up the awesome work.!!!!

      They stole $145.00 from me and my friend. I rented a car in ********* a d was I formed of a $500.00 deposit I was not aware of. My friend paid this and then he and I were charged the same $145.00 and after many explanations on there ******** page we finally gave up with all the ********. All they had to do was check there records a d see the mistake. Instead they changed agents 4 times asking the same questions. We fi ally gave up and let them steal our money! Never,never again Do not re t through them or Hertz because they are thieves.

      I rented a vehicle from the *** Thrifty location on 12/20/2023. I drove this vehicle to ********* the next day. While driving the vehicle, I noticed the cruise control was not working. This was a ****************************************** **** and the windshield wipers were in such horrible condition, I almost had a accident because of not being able to see. I ended up making it to ********* without incident. On the 22nd, I exchanged this vehicle with another exact vehicle at Thrifty's ******************* location. The attendant annotated what was wrong with the vehicle and I have that rental agreement. I went inside to finish the paperwork because they had closed the rental contract. The Rep had to open an new rental agreement and said the new amount, $507 would be the new amount. He reduced the rental for the inconvenience of having to exchange vehicle due to it not working correctly. I returned the vehicle to *** on 30 Dec 2023. Vehicle was fueled and cleaned. I returned to the same location. Upon getting my CC statement, I realized they charged me twice for the same rental period. $831.48 when the account was closed 22 Dec 2023, then the additional $507 when the vehicle was returned on 30 Dec 2023. I spoke with a Thrifty rep on 6 Jan 2024 and they said they would remove the $831.47 charge. This was not done. I returned to the *** location to have this charge removed, but the manager said he could not help me. I then initiated a dispute with Chase CC. I have had to reopen this 4 times because Thrifty is stating I dropped off a vehicle at a different location, I exchanged vehicles. I will be filing a complaint with Chase CC services also. I would like the erroneous charge of $831.48 removed from my CC. I have all the documentation showing they charged me for the same rental period, with no refund of my $200 deposit also.

      NEGATIVE REVIEW - CONSUMER ALERT - STAY AWAY FROM THRIFTY!!!!!!!!!!!!THEY ROB YOU! THEY CHARGED ME TWICE FOR THE RENTAL I GOT FROM THEM, THEN REFUSED TO REFUND ONE OF THE CHARGES - I HAD TO WAIT IN LINE FOR 2 HOURS TO GET THE *** WHICH MADE ME LATE FOR A BUSINESS MEETING. I DID NOT HAVE TO DISPUTE WITH THE AGENT THE CHARGE AT THE **** AS THEY MADE LATE DUE TO THE 2 HOUR WAIT. I COULD UNDERSTAND IF I WAITED BECAUSE THEY WERE BUSY BUT THAT IS NOT THE ****** THE AGENTS SPENT MORE **** IN IDLE CHIT CHAT AND NOT HELPING CUSTOMERS - I CAN TELL YOU ABOUT THEIR FAMILIES THAT THEY WERE DISCUSSING INSTEAD OF HELPING CUSTOMERS!I FILED A REQUEST T GET ON OF THE RENTAL CHARGES REFUNDED AND THEY REFUSE. SAID I AGREED TO IT- I SAID TO YOU KNOW HOW STUPID THAT SOUNDS I AGREED TO PAY FOR THE SAME THING TWICE - NOT !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

      The car was in bad mechanical condition. The *** didnt work. I was overcharged. Service sucked. My car wasnt ready on time. No one cared when I complained.
