      I used Thrifty at the Orlando International Airport February 14, 2023. Waited in line for over 3 hours. Everyone in line was outraged. They also charge several additional charges that I never paid with other companies.Received a final bill today, Feb. 20, and they added an additional $55.DO NOT USE THRIFTY, terrible company.

      Horrible customer service. At the Forthworth Dallas Airport, they told us there is 2 hour wait time for a car. If not satisfied they can cancel the reservation. Never use them.

      My name is *********************** .I been renting cars from thrifty car rental at the international Airport facility in *****. My sales representative who name I totally forgot was very nice and professional.. This was a very busy week for ***** as the boat show was in town. Anyway, he was very helpful and informative when it came to assisting ******* husband with a rental car..Thrifty has always came through when it came to renting my family a car. I will come back again, & again.

      I booked my January 2023 rental through Thrifty and prepaid most of the rental (about $450) and was told it would be about $230 estimated fees at pick up. At pick up, the employee checking me in asked if I have car insurance (I responded yes, Geico). He asked for my license and credit card (I gave it to him). He told me to sign on the signature pad (the kind that does not show dollar amount or break down of charges, but I signed as I thought Thrifty was a legit business who wouldn't scam me). I am handed the receipt which shows a $314.91 add on charge for insurance- a total of $703.05. I tell the check-in guy that I didn't accept the insurance and he never asked me if I wanted it, I don't want it, and to take it off. He refuses and tells me that it is required. I say that if it was required, it should have been listed in the estimated fees when I booked and I would have been able to accurately price compare when picking a rental company. He still refuses to take off the charge. I call Thrifty. They refuse to refund the money saying I accepted the charge because I signed the signature pad. I have disputed the charge with my credit card company. I don't know if Thrifty is intentionally pulling a bait and switch scam or just allowing a rogue employee or branch (sky harbor Pheonix) to get away with fraud, but either way it is fraud, and I will not be booking through Thrifty again.

      DO NOT USE this company especially in VEGAS. They are incredibly DISHONET, they Lie about insurance. I am hiring an attorney to fight the insurance charge that was MORE than the actual cost of the rental for a week. We had our own insurance, but they still signed my husband up for it.

      0 star. I had a reservation and when I got to ATL airport, they told everybody on the line that their were no cars available even if you have a reservation. They said even when you get to the counter, you would have to wait several hours for a car to be returned. They should not be allowed to do business, period!!

      WORST USED CAR COMPANY I HAVE EVER WORKED WITH. If I could give 0 stars I would. I purchased a 2015 ****** Murano and in less than 2 months the transmission gave out. We purchased an extended warranty and they denied due to pre-existing damage so we then contacted Thrifty to help out since that means this damage happened before we purchased the car. It has been about 3 weeks since and the service manager ******** has ghosted me. She gave me her direct number and said she was going to look into the warranty claim since it wasnt fair for us to be on the ball for a $7k transmission replacement when we had the car less than 2 months. Very unprofessional company, once they sell you the car they dont care. They sold us a lemon and wiped their hands.

      Do NOT use Thrifty ever!!! I reserved my rental on Expedia with taxes and fees included at $371. We waited almost an hour in line just to get to the counter. When I finally got to the desk she asked if I wanted an upgrade, I told her no just the reservation we had. The cheapest car that fulfills my reservation. She completes all the paperwork and shows me the receipt that is $800!! I immediately pulled up my Expedia reservation and asked her why it was so much more. She explained that a very small portion was the credit card hold, so the real amount came out to $655. I asked again thats still more than the reservation. She claimed that it was the same but that taxes and fees were not included. When on Expedia it clearly said they were (I provided proof). We left angry and after closer review of the receipt, she had given me the upgrade I specifically denied and lied about it. I contacted customer service and they explained that I agreed to it and left so they werent going to do anything about it. These people are crooks, they lied and stole from me. Dont ever rent from thrifty again!! They are also partnered with hertz and dollar. Expedia, I really hope you warn your customers because I was totally blind sighted by these thieves.

      Placed a reservation on Hotwire for a rental at thrifty for a suv one month in advance. ******* said there will be a balance due at thrifty after paying them. The balance was more than what was said by *******. Thrifty told me too bad this is what the charge is. Didnt have any suvs ready when I preordered one month in advance. Ended up getting a compact SUV with no compensation. Thrifty are crooks and dont honor there prices through Hotwire.
