      THIS PLACE IS A *** *** DO NOT PAY YOUR MONEY. THEY WILL NOT MAKE YOU A RESERVATION AND THE CUSTOMER SERVICE LINES STAY BUSY. THEY ARE LITERALY ******* FAMILIES ***. I COULD NOT GET MY $99.00 THEY PROMISED ME A REFUND. I WAS IN A CAR ACCIDENT AND CAN'T GET MY MONIES. THAT CERTIFICATE IS A JOKE....

      Thank you for taking the time to address your concerns regarding the ******* vacation you purchased online on 01/08/2023.  Our records indicate that you contacted our ********************** to arrange travel however during the verification process to ensure eligibility you advised that you are not traveling with your spouse which is a requirement to use this vacation package as outlined in the terms and conditions you accepted at the time of purchase.  As a result, our agent provided a complementary upgrade to an alternative package which removes the eligibility requirements.  This package is fulfilled by our travel partner who is experiencing higher than usual call volumes due to the demand on travel. Since they are only the fulfillment center for the new offer, the information you received that they cannot refund your account is correct as they did not collect any monies for the package sale and are strictly the fulfillment center for the new offer. Refunds would need to be requested from Take a Break Travel.  To date we have not been contacted for the refund.  Although refunds are only permitted within 30 days of purchase, we are happy to make an exception for you.  Your account has been fully refunded for the $99.00 package sale price. Please allow up to 7 business days for your banking institution to make those funds available to you for use.

      This is a scam. **************** is super rude and they steal your money. I requested my stay for March 23 to March 26, 2023, in December and I was canceled without any notice. Then the person that answered the phone was super rude and made it sound like it was my fault. She pretended like I didnt confirm over the phone with someone before or that I didnt receive a letter on March 7, 2023, confirming my stay. They do not want to refund my money back. And I am willing to take this to the highest level, not because $150 they owe but because I going to avoid for them to scam anyone else.

      Thank you for taking the time to address your concerns regarding your Poconos vacation. Upon review of your account, we can confirm that although you had a reservation scheduled,Take A Break Travel requires all clients to complete a final verification call as well as final confirmation call for all reservations to be fulfilled.  Our records indicate that multiple attempts to contact you to complete these steps were made however not completed causing the reservation to be cancelled as outlined in the travel itinerary you referenced in your complaint.  Our records also indicate that you contacted us after receiving the cancelation notice to complete these steps, however, we were unable to reinstate the reservation for the dates you originally had since the allotment was no longer available.  At that time, you were transferred to our **************************** after requesting a refund and were provided a courtesy 4-day 3-night vacation in addition to the one you purchased for the Poconos in leu of the refund, which you accepted and advised you would call back to rebook the Poconos.  To date we have not heard back from you to rebook travel.  As per your request submitted to the BBB we have now provided you a full refund of your Poconos Vacation package and cancelled the additional vacation you were provided.       I am a bit frustrated as I was supposed to receive a $50 refund from this company for a presentation that I attending in ********* in March of 2023. They told me it will automatically process. It has not - and there is no contact number? curious to see if this review will get answered.

      I booked a cruise for two to *********** during the pandemic and now that the pandemic restrictions have almost entirely been lifted worldwide and I want to take my cruise they are saying the package no longer includes a stay in *********** because of the pandemic. They are trying to substitute for two additional nights in ************* which is actual garbage like ************* could ever compare to ***********. I literally didnt even want to go there for the original two days and Im sure based on these reviews the hotel we are staying in is terrible. Additionally they are insisting I must be married and sit through a sales presentation or forfeit 150$. I can only imagine the other fees we will incurr if we still go on this stupid cruise and honestly I dont know why we would it sounds terrible. A total waste of 800$

      Thank you for taking the time to address your concerns regarding the cruise vacation you purchased from Grand ********* Cruises on 8/27/2019.  Please note that TAB is the fulfillment center for a portion of GCCs vacations and as such all monies paid for this package were collected by your provider GCC, not TAB.  Our records indicate that your provider did allow for 2 courtesy extensions on this account.  Since the date of the purchase,we no longer have allotments for the hotel stay in *********** and have provided clients the option to accept an all-land stay in *** in exchange.  In addition, all reservations require clients to pay for the refundable deposit in advance to secure your dates.  This money is then refunded upon completion of your vacation and required sales presentation.  Please contact TAB when you are ready to arrange travel dates.  Requests for changes to your package or refunds would need to be sent to your provider directly, they can be reached at ***************************  Take a Break Travel can be reached directly at ************ Monday Friday from 9:00 am to 6:30 pm ET.

      A scam company, I wonder how can they business in a free and educated society. They sell packages with different name and form and associated with different hotels. I bought a 4 days package , inspired by a ******** ad by the name of *********** , gave the package for **************** and later on handled by Take a Break Travel. Paid the whole , paid $49 extra for confirming the date of March18-22 ***** and bought air ticket from *********,** . I lost all the money as they declined to let my family in showing the reason that my wife doesn't have a valid driver's license. I lost the non-refundable ticket of all 4 of us.In fact, she has all other state or company issued ID except driver's license and it was never informed to us during buying and confirming the dates. Our family, including two kids became astounded at the last moment, you can't imagine what went especially with my kids. Please circulate this matter to as many family as possible to avoid last moment disappointment.

      Thank you for taking the time to express your concerns regarding your ******* vacation you purchased online on 09/15/2021.  Please note that Take a Break Travel sells discounted vacation packages which requires clients to attend a sales presentation on the benefits of discounted travel and as such must meet all eligibility requirements as outlined in the terms and conditions of the package.  Before entering the credit card for purchase, clients must read and accept these terms and conditions.  Upon purchase clients are then sent an email as well as a text message which includes the details of your package along with a copy of the terms and conditions that were accepted outlining the eligibility. Please see the link sent to you using the contact information you provided at the time of sale: **************************************************************************************************** Clients are required to be residents of ***************** and carry a valid acceptable form of a government issued photo id. Acceptable forms of identification are; a ** Drivers License, ** State ID or ** passport.  Additionally married and cohabitating couples must also provide proof of same household. On 1/23/23 you contacted *** to book your reservations advising at that time that both had valid drivers licenses.  On 2/22/23, you advised that Mrs. ************** drivers license had expired, and was advised then that all identification must be valid and will not be acceptable as expired. You advised that her license would be renewed and requested your reservation not be canceled advising she would have her license renewed before **********************.  On 2/23/22 & 3/7/23 upon verification you advised her license had expired however would get it renewed.  You were advised both times that the drivers license must be valid to use this package.  On 3/9/23 you were contacted for final confirmation and verification was advised that you had reached the maximum allowed time for this renewal and your reservation would need to be cancelled.  You were provided a courtesy extension of expiration date to allow ample time to have this documentation renewed so that you may not loose the money paid for your trip and can be used at a later time.       I was on the phone with one of the representatives I was all set to purchase a resort in ******* for $99. For some reason in the middle of our conversation the representative transferred me over to their supervisor immediately and she started offering me another deal that I could do and she was pushing to do the deal even though I continue to decline the deal. Then she transferred me over to another person who I did not ask to speak to. I've been told that representative that I just wanted to cancel my purchase altogether I was then transferred to another superior with the narrow department who then Began to go back-and-forth with me about my reasonings for wanting to get my refund she began to call me a liar and literally began to talk over me. Eventually she did what she should have Done When she answered the phone. She spoke to me politely and let me know that my money would be back on my card within 5 days terrible customer service on her part everyone else that I spoke with did a phenomenal job but she was very rude.

      I would give this company Zero stars if that were an option. Don't walk, just run from Take A Break Travels. They are a Scam! They are rude and they lie. I was promised lodging in a resort on the beach in multiple locations. I was was actually placed in a 3-star hotel (if that) in downtown business district. There were many other issues during my trip but too numerous to mention here. I will NEVER associate myself with this company EVER again and I would advise you not to either.

Upon review of your account, we can confirm that your reservation, including the hotels were booked based on the specifications of your package as outlined by CRS. TAB did not receive any requests for an upgrade to a beach front property.       I did paid $99 by card for this Take a Break Travel to get Hotel for 3 nights and 2 nights cruise in Fort Lauderdale FL opened for a year , they send me a confirmation numbers , so I did try for 20 times to call them to book it , they never answer ?I think it's a scam I need my money back .

      This company is not honoring what I purchased. Every time I call I get the same representative. She is a lady that answers every time, and she can never seem to transfer me to anyone. The lady is rude and every time I call her story changes, I have now called plenty of times and keep getting the run around. I need to get in touch with someone. In total I paid $1200 and they are not honoring my vacations. This package was purchased during the pandemic, which caused the cruise that was selected to be on pause. I then took one vacation after the pandemic. The money I paid was supposed to cover two trips, but since they said Im single they wont honor the other vacation, but they took my money. I have proof of the transactions and need assistance recovering my funds. Being single didnt stop them from taking my money.I have been dealing with this process for months and I cant reach anyone to resolve this. The same lady answers, if the call are recorded please replay my calls and help me get to someone.       Hola buen dia tengo una reservacion pagada pero no he podido tomarla...la ocupara para octubre 2022 en ************* ...llame a un nmero en marzo me hicieron varias preguntas y por no saber ingls 100% para una presentacin dijeron que no podamos tomar ese paquete de tiempo compartido y no nos daran la tarjeta de regalo pero que nos ofrecan un paquete de estancia normal en algn hotel a elegir me dijeron que llamara a un nmero que me dieron para reservar y en 1 mes de intentos jamas me respondieron para reservar asi que no intente mas ....me gustara ocupar mi reservacion a fin de este mes algn nmero para poder hacerla xfavor gracias
